Naruto: Starting With Three Tomoe Sharingan, Girlfriend Kushina

Chapter 71: Big Brother Dai Is Busy Dating!

"Tsunade, what are you thinking about? Why are you keeping your head down and not saying anything..."

Faced with her teacher's question, Tsunade suddenly snapped out of her thoughts.

"N-no... nothing..."

Her mind had been filled with thoughts of Ryun, that freak of nature who defied common sense. She didn't know whether she should tell her teacher about him.

Her grandmother, Mito Uzumaki, had told her to keep it a secret, specifically emphasizing that even her teacher, the Third Hokage, must not know.

A child so young yet possessing chakra reserves comparable to a jonin, suspected of having awakened the Uchiha clan's Sharingan. Her grandmother had even explicitly stated that the boy possessed extremely powerful ocular abilities...

Either of these points alone would draw the attention and intense scrutiny of Konoha's higher-ups. One could say that Uchiha Ryun was an even more special existence than Kushina.

Tsunade couldn't even imagine how far his future potential reached, because this child was simply too absurd—not only ridiculously talented but also terrifyingly disciplined.

She had secretly inquired about Ryun from Kushina more than once and knew what the guy usually did...

Aside from training, it was studying. Most of his time was spent improving himself, vastly different from other kids his age, and his goals were frighteningly clear!

Among the Sannin, she was the second, after Orochimaru, to feel wary of Uchiha Ryun.

Had she not truly looked into Ryun, Tsunade would've thought he was just an ordinary brat, at best a minor genius.

But if one carefully observed his life and paid attention to his habits, they'd realize this child had a clear purpose—he was quietly amassing strength, and his growth speed was suffocatingly fast!

If he were just an ordinary person, Tsunade wouldn't feel so wary.

People like Might Dai, or Rock Lee in the original story, were also hardworking, but Tsunade didn't think they could cause much of a stir because their ninjutsu talent was lacking, forcing them to pour all their effort into taijutsu.

But Ryun was different. He had exceptional ninjutsu talent, possessed the bloodlines of both the Senju and Uchiha clans, was willing to push himself to the limit, and seemed to have awakened his bloodline abilities!

Most crucially, while striving to improve, he also knew how to "hide his true strength," and he hid it extremely well...

The more she thought about it, the more uneasy Tsunade became.

Fortunately, Ryun's background was clean—his mother was from the former Senju clan, and his father's loyalty to Konoha was beyond doubt.

He had a cheerful and steady personality and doted on Kushina, forming a powerful bond, which made Tsunade less inclined to think of him as a threat...

Without these factors, Tsunade would've exposed him without hesitation.

She would've discussed Ryun's risks with Konoha's higher-ups—whether he could become a danger to the village in the future, whether they should intensify his indoctrination, or create more bonds for him...

While she wouldn't go so far as to harm him, increased supervision and control would've been inevitable.

But her grandmother had explicitly ordered her not to speak of it, so Tsunade had no choice but to help keep Ryun's secret.

Ryun had no idea he was already mostly exposed. But in his mind, exposure was inevitable sooner or later.

Every day before dawn, he ran laps around Konoha. Did the patrolling ninjas and ANBU not notice this training maniac?

As long as he kept the Three-Tomoe Sharingan a secret and didn't expose his eyes, he didn't care much if other aspects of his ninjutsu talent were revealed.

Ryun escorted the fiery girl home, and as they passed a small park, he was shocked by what he saw.

His "Big Brother Dai" was actually on a sweet date with a woman in the park!

Realizing this, Ryun quickly pulled Kushina into the shadows and secretly watched the two on the bench.

"No wonder Big Brother Dai hasn't been as enthusiastic about training lately... he's been busy dating..."

Ryun muttered under his breath, making Kushina curious.

"Big Brother Dai? Is that the one who always trains with you in the mornings?"

"Yeah, my big bro is amazing... his taste is unique too, liking a more robust woman. And he even knows how to give flowers—he's more romantic than me..."

Ryun observed the two while chuckling.

"You know romance? You, a training maniac, know romance?" Kushina couldn't help but roll her eyes.

After being with him for so long, she hadn't even received a single flower from him. How dare he claim to understand romance?

"..."

Ryun was momentarily left speechless.

But after thinking quickly, he stubbornly argued:

"Taking you to see cherry blossoms doesn't count as romance? Watching the scenery at the Hokage Monument together doesn't count? Catching goldfish at the night market doesn't count?"

"Going out doesn't count as romance! And I was the one who took you to see the cherry blossoms! I was the one who invited you to the Hokage Monument!"

As she spoke, Kushina pinched Ryun's ear.

"You clearly don't understand romance, yet you have the nerve to boast about it!"

"Ow ow ow, it hurts... Fine, I don't understand, okay? Let go..."

Sensing Kushina's immense "resentment," Ryun rubbed his ear and proactively suggested a date:

"Tomorrow morning, I'll take you to watch the sunrise at the Hokage Monument. Romantic enough?"

Hearing this, Kushina's face lit up with joy, but she quickly feigned hesitation.

"Well? Going or not? If not, I'll just go for my usual morning run." Ryun pouted.

"What kind of attitude is that? Is that how you ask a girl out?"

Kushina put her hands on her hips and pointed at Ryun's nose, scolding him.

She had initially thought it was romantic, but after hearing his tone, all the romance vanished instantly...

"You should learn from your big bro. You're just a hopelessly dense straight guy..."

"Hey hey hey, call me a straight guy if you want, but no need to add 'hopelessly dense'..."

"I like adding 'hopelessly dense.' Hopelessly dense straight guy, hopelessly dense brat, hopelessly dense Ryun..." As she spoke, Kushina's lips curled into a smirk as she started insulting him.

"Then I'll add it too. Hopelessly dense tomato, hopelessly dense redhead, hopelessly dense tomboy..."

When it came to trash talk, Uchiha Ryun never backed down.

"What?! You damn jerk! What did you just call me?!"

Kushina grabbed his collar, furious.

"..."

"A gentleman uses his words, not his hands..." Ryun forced a smile, trying to reason with her.

But the next moment, Kushina escalated from "personal attacks" to outright physical violence.

"Ah—"

The scream even startled the lovey-dovey Big Brother Dai on his date!
