Gu Xingxi's tearful outcry astonished everyone present.

"That's for the best," the elder nodded in approval.

Uchiha Fugaku suggested, "Let's leave them alone for a while," and with those parting words, the elders departed, Uchiha Mikoto offering some caring words to Shouko before leaving.

Once alone, Gu Xingxi could no longer hold back and rushed to embrace Shouko, weeping openly.

Overwhelmed, Shouko could only reciprocate the embrace.

Through tears, Gu Xingxi said, "You don't have to be so kind, Shouko. You can be selfish."

To soothe him, Shouko simply responded, "Okay."

After crying for a while, Gu Xingxi finally released her and took a moment to study her face closely. She looked exactly like Shouko Nishimiya, with the same pink hair and facial features; only their clothing differed.

Feeling his gaze, Shouko shyly averted her eyes.

Regaining his composure, Gu Xingxi asked, "Do you have a hearing problem?"

Quickly, Shouko shook her head, "No, my hearing is fine."

Relieved, Gu Xingxi thought he had feared even in another world, Shouko would have hearing issues. "She's truly kind. It breaks my heart," he reflected.

Drying his tears, Gu Xingxi inquired, "Would you be willing to change your name for me?"

Though puzzled, Shouko replied, "If it pleases you, my lord."

"Shouko Nishimiya, Uchiha Shouko," Gu Xingxi proposed.

"That name sounds lovely," Shouko agreed.

"If you like it, that's all that matters. Don't force yourself," Gu Xingxi said, seizing her hand, "Would you marry me?"

Blushing, Shouko replied, "I would."

The system announced, "Congratulations to the host for taking his second wife, Shouko Nishimiya. Awarded 3000 points and two lottery chances. Deducting 500 due to debt, leaving 2500 points."

Gu Xingxi thought, Even without the rewards, I would protect Shouko from any harm.

Shouko withdrew her hand and pulled out a letter from her pocket, "My father gave this to you."

The letter read: "Uchiha Gu Xingxi, do not think I do not love Shouko. I love her more than anyone. The reason I am letting you marry her is because you both are not pure Uchihas. Though it may seem like a slight, no one else is better suited to her than you. I can't entrust her to other clan members, and certainly not to outsiders. Please, protect her on the battlefield."

Gu Xingxi assured Shouko after reading the letter, "I will protect you with my life, if necessary."

Moved, Shouko nodded, "Okay."

Gu Xingxi instructed, "If anyone asks on the battlefield, say you're Orochimaru's disciple. His name holds more weight than the Uchiha's. Stay here while I inform Orochimaru."

Shouko agreed with a nod.

Gu Xingxi then left using his 3D Maneuver Gear. Outside, he quickly formed a shadow clone to protect Shouko, then sped off towards Orochimaru's residence.

En route, Gu Xingxi told the system, "Start the two lotteries."

He needed points to acquire a permanent Mangekyo or even an Eternal Rinnegan to protect Konan and Shouko.

"Shall we draw consecutively, host?" the system inquired.

"Yes," Gu Xingxi confirmed.
