"Boom—"
With a loud explosion, the ground where the two giant beasts stood had already shattered into a chaotic mess.
At this moment, Shukaku's enormous body had slowly transformed into a pile of yellow sand, while Kumamoto's massive form stood on the scattered sand, raising his head and letting out a furious roar.
"Roar—"
Just then, the sand suddenly surged and reformed into a gigantic beast's head, and a sharp, spiteful voice filled with hatred echoed through the air.
"Worthless! This is just a puppet that doesn't even have one-tenth of my power. You wait! Once I'm out, I'll tear you apart myself!"
Before Kumamoto stood Shukaku, his sand form snarling with venomous anger.
This scene not only startled Kumamoto but also slightly shocked the Konoha group watching from afar.
Kumamoto's bear-like face twisted with rage. He roared at Shukaku's massive head and raised his thick, powerful paw, slamming it down on Shukaku's head!
"Smack—"
Shukaku's head, which had just formed, crumbled instantly under the strike, scattering to the ground, lifeless and silent.
After dealing with Shukaku, Kumamoto panted heavily, swaying his large, hefty body before plopping down onto the ground.
"Hiss—"
With a soft sound, white steam suddenly began rising from his massive body.
Gradually, the red glow in his eyes faded, and the bulging muscles on his body started to recede. What was once a strong and powerful build transformed into plump, hefty flesh, restoring his appearance as the round, rotund giant bear.
Just as Kumamoto lowered his head and prepared to use his sense of smell to track down Aizen, something caught his attention from the corner of his eye, stopping him in his tracks.
Curious, he turned his massive bear head, his large beastly eyes flickering with curiosity as he looked at the tiny figure on the ground.
Amid the sand, a figure appeared half-buried, seemingly on the verge of death.
Meanwhile, Aizen, with his hands in his pockets, along with the Konoha group, slowly approached a spot close to the forest.
"Alright, let's stop here. Some things need a proper conclusion."
Aizen slowly came to a halt, turning to face the Konoha group with a smile on his face as he softly spoke.
Hearing his words, Jiraiya and the others exchanged glances, their hands subtly shifting into defensive stances.
Among them, Sakumo stepped forward, his gaze fixed on Aizen, his voice heavy with determination.
"The time has come for us to settle our grudge once and for all, Aizen!"
Aizen slightly tilted his head, his eyes twinkling with a hint of amusement as he smiled at Sakumo.
"Sakumo, you've always been a ninja I've admired greatly."
Hearing Aizen's words, Sakumo's lips tightened, his wariness undiminished.
Aizen lightly shook his head and continued.
"But precisely because of that, your presence became an obstacle to my plans. After all, your loyalty to Konoha and sharp instincts would likely have interfered with my agenda."
At this, Aizen's lips curled into a smile as he looked into Sakumo's eyes and softly added.
"Thus, removing you through other means was undoubtedly the safest course of action."
Sakumo's fists clenched tightly, his face expressionless, but his voice was low and grim as he spoke.
"So... that's why you gave my team false orders? So... that's why you let Shika and the others die for nothing?" (I kind of forgot Sakumo squad members name)Sakumo's voice, filled with repressed fury and sorrow, weighed heavily in the air.
Jiraiya and the others looked down momentarily, knowing the pain of watching comrades die beside them. They could understand the torment in Sakumo's heart.
Suddenly, Sakumo raised his head, his bloodshot eyes like those of a beast consumed by grief and anger, as he shouted.
"Just because of your baseless reasons, my subordinates died in the Sand Village, perishing in a meaningless mission! How will you ever repay that!?"
"Aizen!!"
Despite Sakumo's furious outburst, Aizen remained calm, smiling faintly as he chuckled.
"Since they were ninjas, death should have been something they were already prepared for, shouldn't it? Though I was surprised you survived that mission, Sakumo. What surprises me even more is your attitude."
A glint of light flashed in Aizen's eyes as he spoke quietly.
"A ninja like you, who believes so firmly in the code, shouldn't you prioritize the mission above all else? Why would the death of mere comrades turn you into this, Sakumo?"
Aizen's casual tone made Sakumo clench his fists even tighter, as if he were about to charge at him at any moment.
Sensing things were going south, Jiraiya and the others stepped in to stop Sakumo. Jiraiya stood in front of him, glaring at Aizen and gravely said.
"So, from the very beginning, you already had plans to leave Konoha, didn't you, Aizen?"
Tsunade's delicate face turned cold as she looked at Aizen, though a trace of hidden sadness lingered deep in her eyes.
Aizen didn't deny it, laughing softly as he replied.
"I said it from the start, didn't I, Jiraiya? Konoha was nothing but a shackle to me, filled with decaying leadership and dark corruption. And this is the current state of the entire ninja world."
As he said this, Aizen slowly closed his eyes as if he were feeling something, the corner of his mouth curling up as he whispered.
"This world was meant to be beautiful, but it's merely gone astray. No matter, though—I'll personally guide it back on course."
Jiraiya's brows furrowed deeply, his voice rising in anger.
"You're not a god! You can't decide everything for everyone! The people of the ninja world have their own ways of living. It's not for you to interfere, Aizen!"
At Jiraiya's words, Aizen slowly opened his eyes, a faint smile playing in them as he responded with interest.
"You're wrong, Jiraiya. The current state of the ninja world is precisely because of interference from certain forces. This vast world is nothing more than a plaything twisted around the fingertips of a few."
"And I, I will destroy it all with my own hands! In other words, as of today, the countdown to the end of the so-called gods has begun. I will kill the gods with my own hands and rewrite the rules. The future will be completely different!"
Aizen's words left everyone stunned, the implications behind them overwhelming.
Could it be... that gods really exist in this world!?
Otherwise, why would Aizen say such things? What exactly does he know!?
