Naruto: Scourge of the Ninja World

Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Boil Release = The Show Begins!

"This welcome ceremony is a bit much."

"What a shame."

Namikaze Minato looked at the earth spears stabbing toward him and smiled faintly.

In the next second, all the kunai in his hands were thrown out, landing on the ground and trees around him. He himself vanished on the spot.

"Fire Release!"

As Minato left his side, Fugaku unleashed his full power.

A terrifying tornado of fire erupted from the ground, engulfing him.

No matter how fiercely the enemy launched their stabbing attacks, they were utterly shattered when faced with the roaring flames.

The Uchiha were known for their Fire Release—this wasn't just talk. Look at Fugaku now, he was practically a walking fireball.

He wasn't the type to stand still and get hit. Maintaining the flaming tornado, he began to move.

The massive fire tornado instantly surged forward.

"Fall back! Don't get caught in it!"

"Earth Release!!"

A strong Iwagakure ninja formed hand seals and slammed his fist into the ground.

Cracks split the solid earth in an instant, opening wide toward the flaming tornado.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

The enemy continued their assault, but so did Fugaku.

Several shuriken, connected by wire, shot out from the flames, arcing in various trajectories toward the surroundings.

"Feel the flames of the Uchiha!"

"Fire Release! Dragon Fire Technique!"

The wire-connected shuriken hit the ground, and flames instantly surged forth.

The original flaming tornado vanished, replaced by multiple roaring fire dragons charging at the Iwagakure shinobi.

"Damn it!"

"He's strong even among the Uchiha!"

"Han...!?"

One Iwagakure ninja was just about to retreat when he felt a sharp pain in his throat.

"Han?"

"Sorry, I should've let you finish."

The ninja turned his head with difficulty and saw a blonde youth smiling in apology—except the kunai in his hand was stabbing in even deeper.

"That's one!"

By the time the surrounding Iwagakure shinobi reacted and were about to focus fire on him, he was already gone.

"Damn it! So fast!"

"Don't get separated!"

The Iwagakure response was fairly quick, but Minato seized the opportunity again, activating Flying Thunder God.

This time, his target was an Iwagakure shinobi wielding a sword.

That man had already been scorched by the fire, his body still smoking.

Just as he tried to retreat, Minato struck him down with a single slash.

"Two!"

Minato flicked the blood off his kunai, still wearing that calm and breezy look.

"Bastard! Don't steal my kills!"

That pissed Fugaku off. He had just unleashed three ninjutsu and hadn't even managed to burn a single enemy to death. Infuriating!

In just a few breaths of exchange, the Iwagakure side had already taken casualties, while Minato and Fugaku had only expended some chakra.

"Tsk tsk, Chōmei, what did I tell you? These two don't need us to worry about them at all."

"Looks like you were right. That Uchiha kid unleashed three jutsu—not only powerful but not even a trace of fatigue? The Uchiha really are freaks!"

"I don't think Han's going to hold back much longer. Once he moves, the real show starts!"

"Hehehehehe... Exactly."

Gekko Chizan deeply regretted not bringing a bag of sunflower seeds. Sigh.

The battle continued. A ninja who had just hidden underground launched a coordinated attack.

But it had little effect on Minato and Fugaku.

After all, one possessed superhuman reflexes and Flying Thunder God.

The other had the most powerful eye technique—Sharingan. Normal ambushes couldn't threaten them.

After losing three more men, Han could no longer sit still.

"Stand back! Useless trash!"

The two-meter-tall behemoth charged into the battlefield. With his entry, the field was instantly divided.

The Iwagakure forces all retreated, their faces showing not just fear but also a touch of panic.

"Han-sama..."

"Shut up! Over thirty of you can't even handle two people?! Even if they're Uchiha, you shouldn't be this pathetic!"

Han was fuming, his entire presence radiating terrifying pressure.

That pressure made many Iwagakure shinobi go completely silent.

"Oh? So you're the one leading this squad?"

"A Jōnin from Iwagakure?"

As Han stepped onto the battlefield, the calm on Minato's face vanished, replaced by a serious expression.

He had a keen sense for chakra—and from this man, he felt a solid, rock-like presence.

Fugaku's expression was just as serious. Even more direct, with his Sharingan, he could see the dense chakra flowing through Han's body.

Both of them shouted inwardly: A formidable enemy!

Then they exchanged glances—and in each other's eyes, they saw the same message: Strike first!

In the next instant, the blond youth activated Flying Thunder God and appeared directly behind Han.

"Han-sama!"

Clang!

Just as an Iwagakure ninja cried out in warning, the kunai that had already claimed multiple comrades' lives stabbed at Han's armor.

A crisp metallic clash rang out.

"Hmph, so it's some kind of space-time ninjutsu..."

"Too bad it's not strong enough. My armor is specially made!"

The tip of the kunai was stopped cold by the armor, a burst of sparks flashing out.

"Tch!"

Minato immediately activated Flying Thunder God again and returned to Fugaku's side.

"That armor's tough—not ordinary gear."

"Don't need you to tell me. I can see it."

That probing strike left both Minato and Fugaku looking even more grim.

Despite wearing such heavy armor, Han didn't show the slightest sign of fatigue.

To them, this clearly marked him as a ninja with formidable physique, skilled in taijutsu.

"Konoha's youthful power, is it? Too bad—for you, this is where it ends!"

"Come!"

Han took a combat stance, his aura skyrocketing!

"Hmph! Arrogant fool!"

"Fire Release! Grand Dragon Fire Technique!"

Fugaku immediately unleashed his most powerful Fire Release technique.

A massive fire dragon soared into the air, turned mid-flight, and charged toward Han.

Minato didn't stay idle—he threw out several special kunai again, looking for an opening to ambush.

Armor wasn't seamless. If he could aim at a weak point, he could land a solid blow.

"Not a bad Fire Release! But not enough!"

"Boil Release"

At the words Boil Release, all the Iwagakure ninja lit up with joy—this was Han's ultimate technique! Terrifying beyond belief!

Equally overjoyed were Gekko Chizan and Chōmei.

Though their reasons for delight were completely different.

Man and insect shouted in unison: "It's here!"

"The show has begun!"

After all this build-up, the long-awaited spectacle was finally starting!

Sunflower seeds—check. Bench—check. All ready!

Now presenting: the grand entrance of the Five-Tails, Kokuō!
