Naruto: Reincarnated as a Demon King

Chapter 15: 15. The World is White, but I Alone am Black!

----

"So he finally showed up."

Raiden slowly unclenched his fist, standing calmly at the side as his gaze landed on the tall man in front of him, his back turned.

The distinctive fan-shaped clan emblem on the man's back made his identity clear.

The Uchiha Clan is in charge of Konoha's Police Force. Their primary duty was maintaining law and order within the village, and at times, they assisted the ANBU in security operations.

Even before Raiden's fight with Ten had escalated, Uchiha Police Force members had already been watching in secret.

But they hadn't intervened immediately likely wanting to take this opportunity to pressure the Hyūga Clan.

A public street fight involving the Hyūga Clan, potentially resulting in civilian casualties…

That was a golden opportunity for the Uchiha to use against them.

Unfortunately for the Uchiha, they hadn't expected the Hyūga prodigy to be so weak.

A twelve-year-old Genin, utterly defeated by a six-year-old Academy dead last. Although things hadn't unfolded exactly as they had planned, this outcome was still satisfying.

One of Konoha's important clans had picked a fight in public—

And got humiliated for it.

'Tsk, tsk… Today it's going to be fun, hehehe..' Just the thought of it made Fugaku Uchiha's lips curl into a smirk.

"Rai, are you okay?!" Izumi had been helping her mother prepare dinner.

After all, Raiden ate enough for ten people if they didn't prepare early, they'd never have enough food. But after hearing the commotion outside the sweet shop, she put down her work and rushed out.

She arrived just in time to see a group of Hyūga boys surrounding Raiden.

"I'm fine."

Raiden shook his head and gave her a reassuring look.

"Is he your friend, Izumi?"

The Uchiha man standing in front of Raiden turned around. His gaze flickered briefly over Raiden's horns, then smiled at Izumi.

Fugaku Uchiha?!

Now that Raiden could see the man's face clearly, his eyebrow twitched. He hadn't expected the Uchiha Clan Head himself to be the one to step in!

"He's my friend! His name is Raiden!" Izumi nodded without hesitation, immediately introducing him.

Fugaku maintained a polite smile, but the expression never reached his eyes.

He simply nodded slightly, acknowledging Raiden's existence.

Meanwhile, the four Hyūga boys, who had been knocked back by the chakra burst, were already scrambling to their feet.

"Who the hell dares to attack the Hyūga Clan?!"

"Which bastard did this?!"

"I swear, I'll—"

Fugaku had moved too fast.

None of the Genin had even seen what had happened.

Cursing angrily, they pulled themselves up—

Only to freeze mid-sentence, their voices cut off like a strangled rooster.

Their eyes widened in horror as they took in the scene before them—

A grim-faced Fugaku Uchiha, along with an entire squad from the Police Force.

"You lot caused a public disturbance in the village. Come with me to the Police Department."

Fugaku wasn't interested in showing the Hyūga any mercy. The Hyūga Clan had been propped up by the village elders specifically to counterbalance the Uchiha.

The two clans were bitter rivals, always at each other's throats. Now that Fugaku had caught them breaking the rules, he wasn't about to let it slide.

The surrounding spectators visibly tensed. While most civilians didn't know much about the Police Force,

The Hyūga sure did.

Once you were locked up by the Uchiha, expecting to walk out unscathed was a delusion.

As the Hyūga Genin hesitated, the crowd suddenly parted like waves. A figure in a traditional kimono, with long black hair cascading past his shoulders, walked toward them. His pale white eyes were calm but undeniably commanding.

"Clan Head Fugaku, you must be joking. This was merely a childish scuffle."

"No need to trouble the Police Department over something so trivial, right?"

The newcomer was none other than Hiashi Hyūga, the Head of the Hyūga Clan.

The moment he learned that Ten and his group had started a fight in public, he immediately rushed over.

Now that the Uchiha had caught them, they could easily escalate the matter into a formal violation.

Fighting within Konoha was explicitly forbidden. Hiashi needed to control the narrative before it got out of hand.

If this were classified as an official clan dispute, the Hyūga would be in serious trouble.

And so, with a single sentence, he attempted to downplay the entire situation.

"So you're just calling it 'playtime' now?"

Fugaku's smile was mocking.

A chance to humiliate the Hyūga like this was too good to pass up. Unfortunately, Ten had failed spectacularly.

If he had actually managed to kill that bull-headed brat, then maybe this whole thing would've been worth it.

"I'm not making excuses." Hiashi approached Raiden; his expression was still calm and composed.

"Young man, you were just playing, weren't you?"

"If this was a real fight, then I'm afraid you'd have to accompany this… 'ferocious uncle' to the Police Department."

"But I'm sure you don't even know what the Police Department is, right?"

"Hiashi Hyūga!"

Fugaku's expression darkened, veins pulsing at his temple.

'Ferocious uncle?!'

'Does he think I'm deaf?!'

"Oops, that was a slip of the tongue." Hiashi chuckled, cutting off Fugaku before he could respond.

Then he turned back to Raiden, repeating his leading question: "So, young man, this was just 'playing'… wasn't it?"

If possible, Raiden would have loved to slap them both to the moon. One was using him to crush a rival clan.

The other was grinning like a saint while stabbing him in the back.

It made him sick.

Strength decided everything.

Power was justice.

At that moment, a fierce hunger ignited within Raiden's heart.

A craving—

A desperate thirst for power!

If he had the strength of Madara Uchiha,

Would the Uchiha still dare act so smug?

Would the Hyūga still dare treat him like a pawn?

But right now…

He wasn't strong enough.

Raiden took a deep breath. Then, flashing his best fake innocent smile, he replied:

"Oh, we were just playing, blind old man."

Raiden wasn't a nice kid.

He wasn't the type to let things slide.

Since the Hyūga had already made an enemy of him, there was no need to hold back.

"Were those blind guys your sons?"

"If their vision is so bad, maybe they shouldn't walk around too much."

"For a clan with '360-degree vision,' you sure miss a lot."

"Also, they were so loud. I thought a swarm of flies was buzzing around me so I just swatted them away."

Raiden pulled out his worn-out wallet, shaking a handful of crumpled bills.

"This is all I have. Haven't even eaten dinner yet."

Hiashi: 𓁹_𓁹

Fugaku, watching from the side, nearly burst out laughing. 'That brat was sharp as hell'

Hiashi's face was practically turning green.
