After formulating the action plan for the entire team, everyone present now had their assigned tasks.

Seeing that she hadn't received an assignment, Konan looked at Naruto and asked, "Naruto, what about me? What should I do?"

Naruto looked at her and replied, "Continue training those students with Brother Nagato. Also, Shisui, Itachi, Killer Bee—you guys can take some time out to help train them as well whenever you're free. These people… they'll be of great use in the coming war, and in the future too."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Naruto turned toward Orochimaru and said, "Uncle Snake, come with me. Shisui, Itachi, you two come along as well."

Kisame Hoshigaki stepped forward and asked, "What about me?"

Naruto replied, "You and Uncle Bee will continue training the students. Konan-senpai, you'll remain in charge of the village's defense. I'm guessing Nagato-senpai still hasn't woken up yet."

Kisame glanced at Itachi, and after receiving a nod from him, he seemed a bit reluctant. However, Killer Bee had bonded with Kisame over drinks last night and stepped forward enthusiastically.

"Heeey, Shark-face! Why you always stuck to Weasel, man? You're a grown-up! Come on, train some students with me. I'll even teach you some Lightning Style while we're at it! Didn't you say you wanted to learn the Lightning Style breathing technique?"

Kisame seemed like he'd been poked in a sore spot. He clicked his tongue and snapped, "Mind your own damn business!"

With that, he slapped Killer Bee on the shoulder and walked out grumbling, "Stupid octopus…"

Killer Bee stood there stunned for a moment. Samehada, slung behind him, shifted slightly with a soft purr.

"Ohhh, you mean that stinkin' shark found someone he cherishes… and I outed him, so now he's pissed off? Hahaha!"

Thanks to their chakra resonance, Killer Bee could now interpret Samehada's reactions.

Konan looked at the two of them and shook her head helplessly. Her body turned into hundreds of fluttering paper sheets that scattered throughout the village to begin surveillance.

Since Nagato was still resting and the Six Paths of Pain weren't active, monitoring the village now depended entirely on Konan's Paper Jutsu.

Meanwhile, Naruto led Orochimaru, Itachi, and Shisui into a hidden laboratory.

Itachi asked cautiously, "Naruto, what exactly are you planning?"

Naruto took a deep breath. "I'm taking you to meet some old friends… and some family members as well."

Orochimaru let out a soft chuckle and glanced sideways at Naruto.

Indeed—for him, this would also be a reunion with old acquaintances.

Shisui and Itachi exchanged glances. Old friends? Family?

They could understand "old friends," but "relatives"? Was Naruto going to resurrect someone?

Shisui glanced at Naruto's blond hair and recalled certain secrets hidden in the village. His heart skipped a beat.

Once inside the lab, Orochimaru didn't even wait for instructions. He immediately began setting up the Impure World Reincarnation ritual.

Itachi stared at the rune circle and asked with some hesitation, "Naruto, this technique…"

Shisui frowned. "I have a bad feeling about this."

Naruto smiled faintly and said to the two, "I'm counting on you."

With a sudden buzz, he vanished using the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Shisui blinked. "Was that…?"

Itachi nodded calmly. "That was the Flying Thunder God—Minato-sama's signature technique."

Shisui gaped. "The one the Fourth Hokage used to make a name for himself?! Naruto can use that too?"

After a moment's thought, he realized—Naruto had the power to bring back the dead. It made sense he could also use the Fourth Hokage's jutsu.

Orochimaru was unfazed. He already knew where Naruto had been and what techniques he had learned.

A few minutes later, Naruto returned in a flash with a burst of chakra.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Four distinct thuds echoed as four sealed White Zetsu clones were tossed into the prepared summoning circle.

Only then did Itachi and Shisui understand Naruto's intentions.

They hadn't expected that Naruto, who had just chastised Kabuto for misusing Edo Tensei, would now be performing the technique himself.

And judging by the four Zetsu sacrifices, it looked like he wasn't summoning just one or two people.

Orochimaru retrieved a storage scroll from a secure cabinet and tossed it to Naruto.

"Here, Naruto."

Naruto caught it, nodded, and said, "Got it."

He unfurled the scroll and spread it on the ground. His hands moved through several seals.

"Release the Spiritual Seals!"

Blue chakra lit up the ritual array as four soul flames emerged from the scroll, flickering gently above the Zetsu bodies.

Itachi's eyes widened in shock. "These four souls…!"

Naruto responded solemnly, "The previous Hokage. Those who knew all the secrets of Konoha's past."

Shisui took a sharp step forward, stunned. "What?!"

Orochimaru smiled darkly, formed hand seals, and pressed his palms down. "Impure World Reincarnation!"

The soul flames descended swiftly, embedding into the Zetsu bodies, which began writhing in pain. Their forms twisted and expanded—until four new figures slowly emerged and stood upright.

Shisui's voice trembled as he identified them, one by one. "The First… the Second… the Third… and the Fourth Hokage!"

Itachi's eyes locked on the man in front with wild, spiky hair. "That's Senju Hashirama—the God of Shinobi."

Orochimaru's eyes gleamed with satisfaction, as though admiring a completed masterpiece.

Once the summoning was stabilized, Orochimaru weaved another series of hand seals. The souls within the Hokage were fully awakened.

Hashirama stirred first, blinking in confusion. Tobirama awakened soon after and immediately scowled at the sight of Orochimaru.

"It's you again—Orochimaru."

Hashirama turned toward his brother. "What's going on?"

Sarutobi Hiruzen sighed and explained, "The seals binding our souls must have been broken. We were summoned via Edo Tensei."

Minato Namikaze frowned thoughtfully. "I didn't think the spiritual seals could be lifted. Orochimaru… how did you do it?"

Orochimaru chuckled. "You underestimate me, Minato. I've been studying the Uzumaki clan's sealing techniques ever since the clan's demise. I gathered what remained from the ruins of Uzushio and pieced together the lost knowledge."

Minato sighed and glanced at Hashirama and Tobirama. "Looks like we've been brought back to the world of the living."

Hashirama stepped closer and squinted at Minato. "Who are you?"

Hiruzen blinked, then looked toward Minato, who chuckled awkwardly and pulled back his cloak.

"I'm the Fourth Hokage—Minato Namikaze."

Hashirama's eyes lit up. "You're the Fourth? I see, I see! So the village has thrived up to the Fourth Generation, huh? That's great news! Hahaha!"

Minato gave a sheepish smile. "Well… I wouldn't say things are peaceful. I died before the Third, actually. My soul was sealed away earlier."

Hashirama's grin faltered. "You died before the Third? How did that happen?"

Minato scratched his head. "I died sealing the Nine-Tails during its attack on the village."

Hashirama looked baffled. "That thing killed you?!"

Tobirama scowled at his brother. "Big Brother, do you think everyone's built like you?"

Minato gave a resigned smile.

At that moment, a voice called out softly from behind them.

"…Dad. Long time no see."

Minato froze. Slowly, he turned around.
