Naruto: Reborn as Zoro

Shukaku seems annoyed by Zoro's answer and chooses to just attack by slamming his giant hand at Zoro who doesn't even try to dodge it. Zoro just swings his sword around him while spinning his body a little.

"360 Pound Phoenix!"

Zoro sends a spiral energy blade to counter Shukaku's palm slam. It's just 1 sword attack, but it's strong enough to push Shukaku's palm back, which really surprises the giant sand raccoon.

"Damn it! Just what the hell are you?"

"Huh? It should be who, not what. I am obviously a human, after all."

"A human, huh? HAHAHA! Then die!"

Shukaku is so random that it makes Zoro frown because this raccoon talks very strangely. But Zoro can't be bothered about it now because Shukaku suddenly creates a pair of giant boulders to crush him from 2 sides.

*BOOM*

The boulders crash against each other with Zoro in the middle of it. Shukaku laughs triumphantly again before it stops after a while. The merged boulders suddenly get cut into some pieces and Zoro comes out without any scratches.

Now Shukaku is speechless because he realizes that Zoro really isn't a normal human. That attack would've flattened most people. Yet, Zoro doesn't even get any scratches and even destroy the hardened sand.

Before they can continue, someone else suddenly appears there. Edo Tensei Rasa has been teleported here by Minato. He's teleported right in front of Shukaku, so both Shukaku and Zoro can see him.

"Hmm? Isn't he the brat's father? That annoying man who always came to ruin my fun lately. Damn! Are you here to ruin my fun and seal me again? As if I'll let that happen."

Shukaku has a deep grudge for Rasa who always appears to seal him whenever he is out. He doesn't know that Rasa has died and this Rasa is just an Edo Tensei, a puppet controlled by someone, so he thinks Rasa is coming to seal him again.

Obviously, he doesn't want to be sealed, so he quickly attacks Rasa. Shukaku takes a deep breath and shoots a powerful wind bullet at Rasa. This wind bullet is much stronger than the one that he shot at Zoro before.

Zoro is still in the attack range because he is standing close to them. But he wants to see how this attack will affect Edo Tensei Rasa, so he chooses to just run away from the attack range very quickly.

He gets out on time to avoid the very powerful wind bullet that hits Rasa who doesn't even try to get away. The wind bullet is very strong. It destroys a big part of the forest and ground, creating a deep and wide crater.

Even the wind that spreads afterward is strong enough to break the trees in the surroundings. Obviously, Rasa's body is destroyed into bits because the wind bullet hits him directly from a close distance.

Shukaku laughs triumphantly, but just like before, his laugh disappears after a short time. He sees Rasa's destroyed body is recovering bit by bit. It looks like papers are appearing out of nowhere to reform his body.

"W-WHAT?! WHAT KIND OF NONSENSE IS THIS? HOW CAN HE RECOVER FROM THAT STATE? IS HE REALLY THAT GUY?" Shukaku starts to doubt that the man is truly Rasa.

But he can sense Rasa's chakra, so he knows it really is Rasa. He just can't believe that a human is capable of recovering from that kind of damage to his body because it should have killed him already.

Meanwhile, Zoro is watching Rasa's Edo Tensei body's recovery with a lot of interest. He tries to understand how it works, but obviously he can't understand anything. He can't even understand how shinobi uses Clone Jutsu, not to mention a complicated jutsu like Edo Tensei.

"Hmm, the jutsu uses a living human as a medium to resurrect the dead person, but the reanimated person's body seems to be made of paper instead of another human being. This is really strange. Does the sacrificed person's body get turned into papers? But their bodies are still intact when the jutsu is lifted even though they get destroyed many times. Damn, this is really hard to understand."

Zoro really has the free time to think about something he can't understand in the middle of a battle against a Tailed Beast and now there is another enemy coming, yet he is still very nonchalant.

Edo Tensei Rasa looks at Shukaku before making some hand seals. Then, a massive amount of gold dust suddenly comes out of the ground around Shukaku and moves upward, wrapping the giant Beast's body.

"Damn you! Do you think I'll be stopped with this?"

"Does he only know the word damn? He should use other curse words." Zoro shakes his head after hearing Shukaku says damn too many times.

But then he suddenly flinches when he senses something very strong is formed. He looks at Shukaku who creates a giant Tailed Beast Bomb in his mouth. Zoro looks at it seriously because it's a chance to see the power of a Tailed Beast Bomb.

He didn't face Kurama's Tailed Beast Bomb years ago, so he doesn't fully know its power. Now, he will try to see it to the end because he has the confidence to receive it even if it's directly shot at him.

Shukaku then shoots his Tailed Beast Bomb at Edo Tensei Rasa. Their distance is very close, so it hits Rasa very quickly. The Tailed Beast Bomb crushes Edo Tensei Rasa before exploding.

*BOOM!*

A massive explosion happens and it engulfs a very large area. Shukaku is going all out with his attack, so it packs so much power. Even he himself is pushed back quite far by the explosion because he shoots it right in front of himself.

Zoro is also blasted away by the explosion and is sent flying quite far. The trees and the ground around the explosion are being destroyed. As for Edo Tense Rasa, he's obviously getting destroyed because he received the explosion directly.

"I should've known it would still send me flying even though it won't kill me." Zoro comes out of the rubble while spitting some wood chips.

He is buried by the bits of trees, rocks, and soil that get destroyed and blasted by the explosion. His body is fine because he uses Armament Haki, but that doesn't protect him from being buried by the destroyed things.

When he looks at the center of the impacted ground, he sees Edo Tensei Rasa's body is recovering. Shukaku is obviously enraged because it's like his attack is useless even if Rasa's whole body is completely destroyed.

Zoro wants to tell Shukaku to seal Rasa because he remembers that Shukaku can also use Fuinjutsu. But suddenly, Rasa's body that has just half-recovered disappears into smoke.

"What the-?! Does Orochimaru summon him?"

Zoro frowns, but he can understand why Orochimaru does that if he really summons Edo Tensei Rasa. It must be difficult to control Rasa while also fighting the 3rd Hokage using the Edo Tensei of the 1st and 2nd Hokage.

Orochimaru won't be able to concentrate in 2 fights at once. Previously, he only needed to make Edo Tensei Rasa run amok on Konoha using any jutsu. But to fight Shukaku, he needs to control Rasa with specific orders.

So it's better to call him back and use him to help him fight the 3rd Hokage. Furthermore, Edo Tensei Rasa was meant to hold Minato, preventing him from helping the 3rd Hokage. But if Rasa isn't here, Minato will solve the village's crisis quickly and help the 3rd Hokage.

So calling Rasa back to fight alongside the 1st and 2nd Hokage is the best thing to do because if Minato comes to help the 3rd, then Orochimaru might not stand a chance at all even if he has the 1st and 2nd Hokage's help.

"Sigh, such a boring move. The snake is afraid of the toad's student." Zoro sighs as he walks toward the destroyed forest.

Unlike Zoro, Shukaku is laughing, thinking that Rasa can't recover his body anymore. Seeing the giant raccoon makes Zoro sigh even deeper. Now he needs to handle this giant beast by himself again.

Previously, he wanted to make Rasa and Shukaku fight against each other so he could just watch and attack after they "killed" each other. But now he needs to stop Shukaku alone.

Not that he doesn't want to fight Shukaku, but it was more entertaining to watch them fight each other. Somehow, it's more fun to watch others try to kill each other, after all.

"Welp, I guess this means I need to do it myself." Zoro unsheathes all of his swords. It's time to fight seriously.
