In the Hokage's office, Naruto arrived right on time. He opened the door and glanced around, noting that his primary target had not yet appeared. However, Homura Mitokado and Utatane Koharu were already seated quietly to one side. These two were senior members of Konoha's advisory council, and their presence was no coincidence. Naruto had specifically asked Granny Tsunade to invite them to ensure Danzo's suspicion was eased. With them present, Danzo would likely assume this was just an ordinary meeting to discuss village affairs.

At the desk, Tsunade sat in her Hokage seat with Shizune standing dutifully behind her. Jiraiya had also arrived and was leaning casually against the wall, though his sharp eyes belied his relaxed posture. Naruto, walking in, addressed Tsunade, "Granny Tsunade, has Danzo arrived yet?"

Tsunade frowned slightly. "I've sent Kakashi to fetch him."

Naruto nodded without commenting further.

Tsunade studied Naruto with a mix of curiosity and concern. "Naruto, I'm still trying to understand why you insisted Danzo be present before revealing your so-called secret."

Naruto gave her a small, knowing smile. "You'll find out soon, Granny." His cryptic response offered no clarity.

Jiraiya observed Naruto carefully. Something about the boy seemed different today, something that set Jiraiya on edge. He couldn't shake a vague sense of unease, as though something important—and potentially dangerous—was about to happen.

On the other side of the room, Homura Mitokado turned to Tsunade with a skeptical expression. "Tsunade, why exactly have you called us here? And more importantly, is this secret Naruto mentioned related to Konoha's security?"

Utatane Koharu nodded in agreement. "Calling us here, and even involving Danzo—it must be something serious."

Naruto spoke up calmly, "It is. This concerns a secret about the Fourth Hokage."

Hearing this, Homura Mitokado and Utatane Koharu exchanged surprised glances. They had not expected such a response.

The Hokage had summoned him to a meeting, and the presence of the other two elders, Homura Mitokado and Utatane Koharu, had been requested as well. This made Danzo suspicious. Why would Tsunade suddenly gather the village's senior advisors, including him?

His first thought was that it might have something to do with Jiraiya. Danzo knew Jiraiya's strength had diminished significantly after losing an arm. Perhaps he and Tsunade had encountered a problem they couldn't resolve on their own and needed the counsel of the elders.

"Hmph." Danzo smirked to himself. He stood up from his seat, leaning on his cane, and prepared to head out as soon as Kakashi arrived to escort him. He decided against bringing any guards. After all, this was Konoha—no one would dare attack him here, especially not in the Hokage's office. Bringing guards would only draw unwanted attention from Tsunade's Anbu.

Unbeknownst to Danzo, this was precisely what Naruto had anticipated. By ensuring that the meeting was framed as an official discussion involving the Fourth Hokage, Danzo would drop his guard and appear without protection.

A knock came at the door. Tsunade called out, "Come in."

The door opened, and Kakashi stepped inside. "Hokage-sama, Danzo-sama has arrived," he announced before stepping aside to allow Danzo to enter.

Danzo walked in slowly, leaning on his cane. His sharp, exposed eye scanned the room, taking in the faces of Tsunade, Jiraiya, the two elders, and finally Naruto, who stood with his back turned to him.

Homura Mitokado and Utatane Koharu rose from their seats. Utatane Koharu, in particular, looked annoyed. "Danzo, you've kept us waiting. Couldn't you move a little faster?"

Danzo gave a faint smile, though his tone carried an edge of sarcasm. "I wasn't aware that the Hokage had decided to summon an old relic like me. Naturally, age slows one down." His words, though ostensibly self-deprecating, were a thinly veiled jab at Tsunade for neglecting the elders.

Tsunade frowned but chose not to respond to Danzo's provocation. She glanced at Naruto, wondering what he planned to do next.

Naruto remained motionless, his back still to Danzo. But then, something changed. In an instant, orange pigmentation appeared around Naruto's eyes—Sage Mode had been activated. The sudden surge of natural energy was palpable, and Jiraiya, sensitive to such things, immediately noticed. His unease spiked.
