"Too bad you're gonna die right here!"

Looking at the two ugly weirdos in gas masks, Nagi instantly recognized them as Zabuza's men—the Demon Brothers.

"Go!"

The brothers flung their chains at Nagi in sync.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!"

Nagi casually formed a hand seal, clearly intending to take them out with the Water Dragon Jutsu.

But the Demon Brothers saw him sealing and thought he had frozen up from fear.

"HAHAHA! Bro, look at this kid! He's so scared he's messing up the jutsu!"

"Yeah! Let's finish him!"

In their minds, the Water Dragon Jutsu was a high-level technique that required forty-four hand seals!

A lot of Water Style users probably wanted to curse out the Second Hokage at least once for making such absurdly complicated ninjutsu.

Even Lord Zabuza, known for his speed, could only do four seals per second.

Which meant he'd still need 11 full seconds to launch this jutsu!

But what the Demon Brothers didn't expect was—

Nagi's face didn't show a hint of panic.

The next moment, a massive water dragon—several dozen meters long—roared into existence above Nagi.

Its presence was so overwhelming, the brothers suddenly felt like insignificant ants.

Kakashi ordered the team to proceed cautiously toward the blast site, but when they arrived, they were stunned.

"What the hell happened here?"

He looked at the massive crater in disbelief.

"Nagi!"

Sakura's eyes lit up with excitement.

"It really is Nagi!"

Naruto and the others saw him too.

"No need to panic," Nagi said calmly, seeing their surprised faces. "I just took care of two Chūnin who were blocking the road."

"…You took out two Chūnin?"

Kakashi stared at the aftermath of that terrifying jutsu.

That much destruction, just to kill two Chūnin?

How much chakra did this guy have to spare?

Kakashi, who had never had enough chakra to begin with, couldn't even imagine pulling that off.

Just what level had Nagi reached now?

Kakashi honestly couldn't say anymore. At this point, even he probably wouldn't survive a single hit from Nagi.

Nagi then gave them a brief explanation of his mission.

To which Sakura immediately looked starry-eyed.

"That means… Nagi can travel with us, right?"

She grew excited just thinking about spending the mission alongside him.

"Nice thought. But no thanks. You guys are full."

Nagi turned her down without hesitation.

He worked much better solo—why bother dragging them along?
