Currently, the weapons available for the test on the 18th only include three types. The Energy Conversion Laser Attack uses energy from the Star Stone Energy Furnace, converting it into a heat beam for precise targeting. Its power is enough to instantly pierce through walls of earth three to four meters thick, with the strongest heat beam having a diameter of half a meter. A five-meter thick earthen wall can only hold for three seconds. 

The Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) weapon has a general range of about ten meters, but the most powerful EMP bomb can reach a lethal range of 150 meters. The resulting electromagnetic storm can instantly disrupt the balance of chakra. Hyuga Mirai used a Shadow Clone to test the weapon's power, and it was clear that the clone couldn't hold up for even a second—the electromagnetic storm exploded just as it approached. Even the chakra and memories retrieved from the test left Hyuga Mirai feeling nauseous. 

In close combat, the weaponry is only effective once an enemy has closed the distance. However, the data collected by the 18th is still too limited, so the countermeasures are minimal—only two or three options. The true potential of close-quarters combat will be unlocked only after it has built a large database. 

However, if 18 is engaged in close combat, it means it's in a very dangerous situation and is likely to activate its self-destruct program. 

"Sir, signal transmission is unstable, and data retrieval is slow. We recommend upgrading the backup supercomputers, database, and signal transmission devices," the 18th suggested after testing the weapons. It wasn't long before 18 proposed several improvements based on the data it had gathered.

However, these upgrades would be difficult for Hyuga Mirai to achieve in the short term.

"This might require your help, 18. For now, you can only rely on your own chips for computation," Hyuga Mirai replied. "Whether it's money or time, it's hard to get the resources needed."

The best way to enhance 18's power was by sparking an industrial revolution in energy materials and computing in the ninja world. Although computers existed in the ninja world, they weren't widely used. Only a few wealthy nobles bought them for fun. Even in Konoha, computers were rare. 

This would require time, but establishing a solid foundation was the most important thing. Hyuga Mirai had many ideas he wanted to bring to life, but lacking money, materials, and even a dedicated lab had kept his ideas on hold. For instance, developing a big data network would require advancing the computer and satellite industries. As the number of computers in the ninja world grew, 18's data processing capabilities would increase as well, and one day, it could evolve into another 'Skynet' system, monitoring every movement of the entire world. 

"Let's head back," Hyuga Mirai said, packing the equipment into sealing scrolls. He planned to return to Kikyō City, where he would input some technological inventions, such as computer technology and game software, into 18's system. 

As for making money, they could start with video games—creating a ninja game set in the current Five Great Nations system. Different countries could sell their own versions. For example, the Land of Lightning's Cloud Ninja Village could sell a version where the cloud ninjas dominate the world, while the Land of Fire could have a game where the Leaf Village seeks to unify the ninja world. 

This idea would definitely make money. The nobility and wealthy merchants from various countries would likely be drawn to the power of ninjas, and a ninja-themed game would appeal to those fascinated by ninja abilities. After all, ninjas had a strong attraction for people from other social classes in the ninja world. By using entertainment to attract the attention of ordinary people, it could be a quick way to spread the idea. 

Considering the lack of entertainment in the ninja world, even Jiraiya's adult books sold well. A sophisticated ninja game would likely be even more popular. Unless, of course, the ninja world had an abundance of perverts, in which case Hyuga Mirai might need to consider creating adult content. 

Back in Kikyō City, Hyuga Mirai immediately created six Shadow Clones to upload the technological inventions of Genus and Tony Stark into 18's chip. It took an entire day to complete the upload.

After receiving the technological knowledge, 18 turned to Hyuga Mirai and asked, "Sir, about the issue of energy…"

"Try to avoid combat if possible. If the energy in the Star Stone Energy Furnace drops to 50%, immediately notify me, and I'll find a solution," Hyuga Mirai replied helplessly. Currently, 18's energy came from three sources: biological muscle extraction, electrical energy, and chakra conversion. 

Electrical energy was the most convenient but also the most expensive. Once Hyuga Mirai could establish a dedicated nuclear power plant for 18 or even seal a Tailed Beast in the Star Stone Energy Furnace, they could significantly reduce energy consumption. For now, however, he needed 18 to conserve as much energy as possible.

Hyuga Mirai then created a sub-system that would connect to 18. Shaped like a wristwatch, this would allow him to receive notifications from 18 at any time and give it tasks.

"For now, this is all. 18, please do your best for the three-thousand-square-meter lab and your energy database," Hyuga Mirai said, patting 18 on the shoulder. He was ready to send it off. The technological inventions and some intelligence had been transmitted to 18, and now it was up to it to develop in the ninja world.

"Understood, sir."

Though 18 had just been created and was not as intelligent as Jarvis, it could still accept Hyuga Mirai's commands well. This time, 18 had three main tasks: find Uzumaki Ayaka, monitor and serve as the channel for Hyuga Mirai to teach her, and establish a business association to sell technological products and raise funds.

The first two tasks posed no great difficulty, but the last one was the real challenge.

Since 18's intelligence was still limited, it would need Hyuga Mirai to assist in many human interactions. Fortunately, Mirai could remotely control 18 for the time being. 

"I'll be leaving now, sir."

"Wait a moment. I think changing your appearance might help you with starting the business association."

Hyuga Mirai pushed 18 back to the testing table and changed its appearance to that of a young woman with golden hair—exactly how he remembered it. Satisfied with the new look, he let 18 go.

"Next, the research... Sage techniques? No, I should focus on improving the Purple Snake for now. Once it learns the Sage techniques from the Ryūchi Cave, it will provide a good point of reference for comparison."

"Also, having Sage techniques from Ryūchi Cave as a reference will benefit my own development of Sage techniques."

With his plans set, Hyuga Mirai created six more Shadow Clones and directed them to dive into the next phase of research.
