Kakashi exclaimed in shock, "Several times faster? Can your eyes keep up?"

If you're not interested, that's fine by me—you can go back to the Ninja Academy now; they should assign another Jonin team leader for you."

Kakashi pondered for a moment before replying, "Teacher, I want to become your disciple!"

Chinya gave a slight smile. "Good. Since you've decided to become my student, I will fulfill my duty as a mentor. Go back to the Ninja Academy first and inform them of this change. Have them remove your name from the distribution list.

Then go home and pack your things. Meet me tomorrow morning at Konoha's village gates. We'll depart together for the Land of Grass. Compared to letting you train on your own, I prefer teaching through actual combat experience."

Kakashi exclaimed in delight, "Are we going to the Land of Grass?"

Chinya nodded. "Yes. The reason I returned to Konoha this time was specifically to obtain the official dispatch order to the Land of Grass. Isn't your father, Sakumo, stationed there as commander?"

Happiness surged within Kakashi. At first, he thought seeing his father again would be hard, but now fate had brought him back to the Land of Grass anyway.

Kakashi trotted up to Chinya and greeted him, "Teacher Chinya!"

Chinya asked, "Everything ready?"

Kakashi nodded. "All set!"

"Then let's get going."

Chinya and Kakashi left Konoha and headed toward the Land of Grass.

On the way, Kakashi was eager to hear all about Chinya's perfected [Thunder Breathing].

Chinya explained to Kakashi, "To fully unleash the power of [Thunder Breathing], you must coordinate it with your breathing."

Kakashi looked confused. He had thought of many possibilities before—like chakra control, body movements, and other methods.
