After swallowing a Military Rations Pill to restore some chakra, Chinya carried Kushina Uzumaki toward Konoha.

Perhaps due to the jostling, Kushina stirred awake in his arms.

Fully awake, Kushina Uzumaki didn't say anything—she just kept staring at Chinya's face.

Chinya said softly, "Then sleep a bit longer. I'll walk more steadily, and wake you up when we arrive at Konoha."

Kushina Uzumaki suddenly wrapped her arms around Chinya's neck and leaned toward him, gently kissing the side of his face.

Chinya abruptly stopped walking, his body going rigid as if struck by a paralysis technique.

After giving Chinya a soft kiss beneath his cheek, Kushina buried her head in the crook of his shoulder, sobbing as she whispered, "Chinya, just thinking that I might never see you again scares me so much.
