Naruto: I Beat The Villagers And Made Them Scream

Kuragami Uchiha, surrounded by enemies outnumbering him dozens of times on the battlefield, awakened a unique Visual Jutsu called Eighty Calamities Amaterasu through sheer survival instinct. 

This ability allowed him to seize the tiniest sliver of opportunity, even in a seemingly inescapable death trap. When it came to learning Sage Mode, something that often required luck, this Visual Jutsu was practically the ultimate cheat code!

Even if there was a 99% chance of failure, as long as there was even a 1% possibility of success, Kuragami Uchiha could grasp that chance with 100% certainty!

"Achieving a perfect Sage Mode upon initiation... Your talent is truly astonishing." 

The White Snake Sage remarked while looking at Kuragami. "Now that you've mastered Sage Mode, the only thing left is to repeatedly practice refining your Senjutsu Chakra at a faster rate."

The bit of Senjutsu Chakra that the White Snake Sage had infused into him quickly depleted, and Kuragami Uchiha exited Sage Mode.

"Thank you for your generosity, White Snake Sage." 

Kuragami said with a smile, satisfied with achieving his goal.

"No need for thanks. Ryuchi Cave grants every visitor a fair chance. Seizing that opportunity was your own capability." 

The White Snake Sage replied. "Well then, I shall return to my slumber. If you need anything else, you can speak with Tagorihime and the others. I hope that when I awaken next time, this world will have changed at your hands."

Since the White Snake Sage had said so, Kuragami Uchiha gave a slight bow and took his leave.

Outside the cave, the three shrine maidens were still waiting for him.

"It seems Mr. Kuragami has successfully passed the final trial." 

Tagorihime said with a smile. 

"Please follow us. Since you have now mastered Sage Mode, Ryuchi Cave can grant you access to some of its Sage Jutsu."

Kuragami Uchiha nodded and followed them to a cavern.

"Inside here lies Ryuchi Cave's accumulated knowledge of Sage Jutsu over the years. Feel free to browse and transcribe any scrolls you wish to learn." Tagorihime said.

"There's no teacher?"

Kuragami raised an eyebrow slightly. But seeing the three of them simply smiling in silence, he understood, unlike Mount Myōboku, where Sage Jutsu was taught systematically from initiation to mastery, Ryuchi Cave followed a hands-off approach. 

The techniques were there for the taking, but whether one could actually learn them was up to the individual.

Kuragami Uchiha entered the archive alone and picked out a few scrolls to examine.

The Sage Jutsu varied widely. 

After some careful selection, he chose two: one was an auxiliary technique that enhanced the perception of Nature Energy fluctuations during Sage Mode, improving his large-scale sensory abilities, an area where he was previously lacking. 

The second technique, unique to Ryuchi Cave, allowed the user to harness and manipulate the Nature Energy for attacks. It was similar to Mount Myōboku's Frog Kata.

As for the Sage Jutsu used by Kabuto Yakushi in the original timeline, as well as some other powerful Jutsu, Kuragami ignored them; his combat system was already well-established. 

Many of those techniques either required collaboration with Ryuchi Cave's snakes or involved bodily modifications, neither of which interested him. 

With Senjutsu Chakra now enhancing his Lightning Style techniques, their power had already skyrocketed. Instead of pursuing more high-damage techniques, it was more beneficial to shore up his weaknesses.

After finalizing his selections, Kuragami Uchiha dispelled the reverse summoning and left Ryuchi Cave.

Meanwhile, at the Hatake clan's ancestral home…

Naruto had been staying at Kakashi's house for two days, and the two had become more familiar with each other.

When Naruto first moved in, he was somewhat reserved. But after two days, his mischievous nature resurfaced. Driven by curiosity, he was now determined to pull a prank, his ultimate goal? Unmasking Kakashi and finally seeing his face!

To that end, he had spent the day preparing a foolproof trap while Kakashi was out.

When Kakashi entered the house as usual, he called out: "I'm back."

At that moment, a bucket of water came crashing down from above.

A simple prank like this wouldn't work on a battle-hardened Jonin. If Kakashi hadn't been holding takeout food, he might have humored Naruto. But given the circumstances, he wasn't about to let himself get drenched.

He swiftly dodged the falling bucket and sighed: "Naruto, cut it out with these childish tricks."

But then, Naruto suddenly burst out from a closet, brandishing a water gun. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, he froze.

Because today... Kakashi wasn't wearing his mask.

"You... You... Who are you?!" Naruto pointed at him in shock.

"Who else would I be?" 

Kakashi rolled his eyes. "Also, after dinner, make sure to clean up this mess."

"Don't try to fool me! Kakashi-nii wouldn't take off his mask, not even when bathing!" Naruto shouted.

Kakashi's face darkened. He walked over and delivered a swift chop to Naruto's forehead.

After a while, Naruto, now sporting a large bump on his head, sat quietly at the dinner table, stealing glances at Kakashi, who was casually reading a book.

"Hey, Kakashi-nii... Why did you take off your mask all of a sudden?" 

Naruto finally asked.

"No particular reason. Just didn't feel like wearing it anymore." Kakashi replied, not looking up.

"Finish eating and clean up the mess at the entrance. Tomorrow's a holiday at the academy, right? I'll take you shopping."

"Really?! Awesome!" Naruto cheered while eating.

The next afternoon, after sleeping, the two finally headed out while teasing each other. 

However, as they entered the commercial district, Kakashi immediately sensed something was off.

The atmosphere was strange.

Everywhere they went, villagers cast sidelong glances at them. But rather than excitement or curiosity, it was avoidance; people were deliberately keeping their distance as if they were carrying some sort of plague.
