Naruto: I Am Uchiha With A Son System

Chapter 137: Chapter 136: Konoha Action

Author's Note: I finally returned after a 9-hour flight. My plan for these 2 months is to finish this fiction, then I will write an original story. The reason is, of course, because I need money to survive fanfiction is free an I don't receive any monetization revenue, unless you guys decided to support me in patreon. But don't worry, I also plan to release fanfiction too because I love to write fanfiction especially Naruto and Harry Potter, though I still don't know whether I should write Naruto or Harry Potter fiction next.

Disclaimer: Naruto and all of its character belong to Masashi Kishimoto. I own nothing but the original characters I make

Chapter 136: Konoha Action

---Uzukage POV---

"Now our revenue has increased tenfold, more and more people are buying our sealing jutsu," reported the elders.

"Good, the meeting is adjourned," said the Uzukage.

They had been in a meeting for two hours, discussing the state of the economy in Uzushiogakure. Most were now very pleased with the Uzukage's past decision to allow Setsuna to live with them in the village.

Setsuna had successfully boosted the economy, improving the cash flow and increasing the influx of goods into Uzushiogakure.

More merchants were happy to trade in Uzushiogakure, buying goods cheaply and selling them elsewhere for a profit.

As everyone left, Setsuna approached the Uzukage.

"Father-in-law," greeted Setsuna.

"Oh, Setsuna, what brings you here?" asked the Uzukage.

"I have something serious to report," said Setsuna with a frown.

"Huh? Do tell me what really happened," asked the Uzukage.

"I think a genjutsu would be more suitable for this," said Setsuna, then he added, "Father, don't resist my genjutsu. Please, look into my eyes."

Uzumaki Ashina, hearing this, decided to allow himself to fall under the genjutsu, gazing into Setsuna's Sharingan.

After about 10 minutes, he cursed under his breath.

"Why has no one ever known about this?" the Uzukage questioned, his voice filled with disbelief.

"Yes, from the information I gathered, Kuroko Karasuki isn't the only noble involved in these disgusting acts," replied Setsuna. "The reason he was caught is because we saved those orphans and beggars, which forced them to resort to kidnapping children who have parents."

"Good, I'm proud of you," the Uzukage replied. "Is this why you've come—to ask for my forgiveness?"

"Yes, Father. My identity is still that of an Uchiha. If I act like Uchiha Madara, I believe Konoha will use it as an excuse to force Uzushiogakure to hand me over as a criminal," Setsuna answered. "That's why I disguised myself as you, the Uzukage."

Ashina sighed as he looked at his son-in-law. He had known Setsuna for many years and understood his peaceful and stability-loving nature. The decision to kill the noble was understandable. Who in their right mind would condone a human hunting game?

Even shinobi who had been on the battlefield had never thought of killing innocent children.

---World Reaction---

The news of the Uzukage slaughtering the noble family spread far and wide, not only across the Land of Fire but to other villages as well.

The Daimyo, especially the Fire Daimyo, was furious. The Karasuki family was a noble house in the Land of Fire, and this act was seen as a direct insult. He wanted to launch an attack on Uzushiogakure, but the place was an independent land ruled by the Uzumaki clan.

They couldn't impose an embargo or block trade without angering the civilians. The Uzumaki clan had created things no other of the five nations could compete with.

For instance, they had developed radios that, even without antenna towers, could transmit frequencies via satellite. Of course, the other villages were unaware of the existence of satellites, which were guarded in secret by Setsuna. They assumed the invention was powered by sealing jutsu engraved on the radios.

So, the Daimyo held another meeting and decided to annihilate the entire Uzumaki clan.

Unlike Uzushiogakure, which didn't rely on the Daimyo's wealth, the other five nations had not improved their taxation systems or the way they operated. They continued to use outdated methods inherited from their ancestors, depending on the Daimyo to support their economies.

In the original timeline, the Uzumaki clan was massacred because of their sealing jutsu and Madara's schemes. But in this timeline, it happens because of Setsuna's actions.

---Hokage Reaction---

"I'm sorry, Daimyo-dono, but Konoha can't attack its own allies," said Hiruzen.

"Allies? They attacked nobles who are subordinates of the Land of Fire," replied the Daimyo, his face filled with anger.

"But we still cannot attack the Uzumaki clan. If we do, the Senju clan will cause a stir, and chaos will erupt," Hiruzen responded.

The Senju and Uzumaki have been allies since the Warring States Era. Moreover, Katori was no longer listening to his orders.

Hearing this, the Fire Daimyo knew he was at a limit. If he pushed further, the once obedient Sarutobi Hiruzen might turn against him, and he couldn't afford to lose such a valuable ally, no, more likely valuable dog who listen to him.

"I understand. But I don't want Konoha to assist the Uzumaki clan anymore," said the Daimyo.

"But—" Hiruzen's eyes widened in shock.

"You said Uzushiogakure is your ally, and Konoha cannot attack the Uzumaki clan directly," the Daimyo interrupted. "So I will hire the other four ninja villages to secretly attack Uzushiogakure."

"Daimyo-dono, please think carefully. If the other ninja villages destroy the Uzumaki clan, it will weaken the Land of Fire, and the other villages may gain the upper hand in times of war," Hiruzen reasoned.

"Hmmm… those weaklings with red hair?" the Daimyo scoffed. "In the last war, you would've won even without the Uzumaki clan."

"It is true, but—" Hiruzen attempted to argue, only to be cut off.

"I don't want to hear your excuses. If you try anything, I'll cut Konoha's funding," warned the Daimyo.

Although the Daimyo was threatening Konoha, he still glanced at Hiruzen. Seeing the face of someone he considered weak, someone who would follow orders, he smiled.

"I understand, Daimyo-dono," replied Hiruzen.

---Hokage and Konoha F3---

"What? The Daimyo wants to destroy Uzushiogakure?" Koharu exclaimed in shock.

Even Danzo frowned slightly at the news.

"Yes, he said it's fine if our village doesn't help destroy Uzushiogakure, but he forbids us from assisting the Uzumaki clan," Hiruzen sighed.

"But we are their allies," Homura interjected.

"What do you think about this, Danzo?" Hiruzen asked, noticing that Danzo had remained silent.

"I think it's a good idea," Danzo grinned.

"Danzo!" Koharu stood up and scolded him. "The Uzumaki are our allies."

"Sit down, and let's hear Danzo out," ordered Hiruzen.

"Hiruzen, you—" Koharu pointed her finger at him, clearly upset.

"Koharu, let's listen to Danzo," Homura urged, curious about Danzo's plan.

"Didn't you notice?" Danzo began. "Mito-sama never wanted to teach us fuinjutsu."

Everyone frowned. It was true that Mito-sama had withheld much of her knowledge.

"If the Uzumaki are threatened, we can save a few of them and eventually learn their fuinjutsu," Danzo continued. "We could even ensure that the Eight-Tails falls into our hands."

Everyone paused, processing Danzo's words. While the meeting continued, three figures secretly overheard their conversation.

"Look… look… Tobirama, are these your students?" Hashirama fumed with anger.

This time, Tobirama didn't try to refute his brother. He was just as furious after hearing his disciple's suggestion. Even Mikoto supported Hashirama.

"Honey, I think Hashirama-sama is right. My classmates have forgotten the Will of Fire and become greedy, even at the cost of our allies' lives," said Mikoto.
