The three members of Team One—Gaara, Kankurō, and Temari—spoke in unison, their voices filled with confusion.

"Exactly!" Qi Hai confirmed with a grin.

To demonstrate, he activated his Sea-Sea Fruit ability, instantly creating a water-based figure of Gaara. The likeness was uncanny, down to the red coral flower pinned to its shoulder.

"Look at this. I didn't use chakra, yet I've created a unique ability. This power comes from the Devil Fruit," Qi Hai explained.

Back when Rasa (the Fourth Kazekage) had briefed Kankurō and Temari on Qi Hai's strange abilities, they assumed it was some exotic chakra-based kekkei genkai. Now, Qi Hai was revealing the truth.

"A Devil Fruit ability?" Temari asked, her tone skeptical but curious.

"Yes, and this," Qi Hai said, pulling a bright orange-red fruit covered in flame-like patterns from his pouch, "is the Flame-Flame Fruit."

The sight of the fruit immediately entranced the three siblings.

"It doesn't look like anything from this world…" they thought.

Qi Hai held up the fruit and continued, "This is a Logia-type Devil Fruit. Whoever eats it will become the master of fire, gaining control over flames themselves!"

"The master of fire?"

"Control flames?!"

"Unbelievable!" Kankurō exclaimed, his voice filled with awe.

The three couldn't tear their eyes away from the Flame-Flame Fruit.

"Logia types," Qi Hai explained, "are considered the strongest of the Devil Fruits. This Flame-Flame Fruit is one of them."

Temari's eyes sparkled with admiration. "The strongest type of Devil Fruit…"

Qi Hai nodded. "Logia Fruits grant absolute immunity to physical attacks—whether from kunai, swords, or even ninjutsu like Earth or Fire Release. This is what we call absolute defense."

"Absolute defense…" Gaara muttered, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Gaara had always prided himself on his sand shield, but Qi Hai had easily broken through it during their first encounter. Hearing him mention "absolute defense" in this context carried a weight that Gaara couldn't ignore.

"And," Qi Hai added with a playful grin, "I'll let you in on a secret: your teacher is also a Logia-type Devil Fruit user. Impressed yet?"

The three students stared at Qi Hai in stunned silence.

Their thoughts were clear: "We get it—you're amazing. Now, can we have it?"

Qi Hai finally handed the fruit to Temari.

"This Flame-Flame Fruit… is yours," he announced.

"Mine?"

Temari's eyes widened in shock.

She had expected Qi Hai to give the fruit to Gaara, the strongest among them and their newly elected leader. It only made sense.

Even Gaara and Kankurō seemed surprised. Gaara, in particular, couldn't hide his disappointment. Though he was trying to accept teamwork, his desire to become stronger still burned intensely.

"Yes, the Flame-Flame Fruit is for you," Qi Hai repeated with a smile.

Temari hesitated before accepting the fruit, still unsure how to use it.

Qi Hai scratched his head, realizing he'd forgotten to explain. "You just need to eat a single bite—"

But before he could finish, Temari had already taken a huge bite out of the fruit, swallowing it whole.

"—only one bite is enough," Qi Hai said, too late.

"Blech!!! It's disgusting!" Temari shouted, doubling over and gagging.

Watching her reaction, Gaara and Kankurō shot Qi Hai accusing looks.

"Uh… yeah," Qi Hai admitted sheepishly. "Devil Fruits taste terrible. I probably should've mentioned that."

It took a moment for Temari to recover.

"Do you feel any different?" Kankurō asked impatiently.

"Not yet," Temari replied, still grimacing from the taste.

"Give it a second," Qi Hai assured her. "Big changes are coming."

And sure enough, they did.

Suddenly, Temari's entire body was engulfed in flames. Bright, roaring fire wrapped around her like a blazing aura, yet her clothes and skin remained untouched.

"Whoa!!!" Kankurō yelled, stumbling back.

Even Gaara's typically stoic expression cracked, his eyes widening in shock.

"Next," Qi Hai instructed, "try to transform your body into fire. This is called elementalization, a unique ability of Logia Fruits."

He demonstrated by turning his legs into water, hovering slightly off the ground.

Kankurō gawked. "You can fly?!"

"Yes. Logia users gain a limited ability to fly by manipulating their element," Qi Hai explained.

Under Qi Hai's guidance, Temari quickly grasped the basics of elementalization. Her entire body transformed into a fiery form, leaving no solid trace behind as she hovered in midair.

"Ha! I'm flying!" Temari shouted, laughing joyfully.

Gaara and Kankurō watched with a mix of jealousy and amazement.

Their envious gazes didn't escape Qi Hai's notice.

But instead of addressing them, he turned back to Temari. "Good. Now let's test your offensive capabilities. Try combining your Wind Release with the Flame-Flame Fruit's power!"
