Naruto: Divine Reward System

Tatsuya turned his gaze to Naruto and called out, "Naruto, why are you still lying there? Now it's our turn to protect Iruka-sensei."

Hearing this, Naruto looked up at Iruka, who was shielding him despite his injuries. A new determination flared in his eyes. Gritting his teeth, he pushed himself up from the ground. Without hesitation, he formed a [Shadow Clone] hand seal.

The next moment—

Boom!

A massive explosion of smoke filled the air as Naruto activated a forbidden jutsu from the "Scroll of Seals"—[Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu].

The entire clearing became flooded with Naruto's clones, stretching as far as the eye could see. There weren't just a few dozen—there were thousands.

The sheer scale of it left everyone in stunned silence.

Even Tatsuya couldn't hide his astonishment. He had heard about Naruto's potential, but seeing this technique in action was something else entirely.

"W-What the fuck…?" Mizuki stammered, his face draining of color.

Moments ago, he had been confident. Even with Tatsuya's [Sharingan], he figured he could still escape if things went south. After all, Tatsuya had only just graduated—his abilities were raw and untrained. Mizuki, as a Chunin, still had the upper hand.

Or so he thought.

Now, with the overwhelming force of Naruto's clones and his own chakra reserves nearly depleted from fighting Iruka, any hope of victory evaporated.

While Mizuki was still reeling, Tatsuya's voice rang out, cool and sharp. "Mizuki-sensei… have you ever felt true despair?"

Mizuki's breath hitched. He turned toward Tatsuya, but before he could respond, the younger shinobi had already made his move.

Flashing through hand seals, Tatsuya recalled the technique detailed in the [Scroll of Seals]—and the way Naruto had performed it just now.

Then, with a low, confident voice, he uttered, "[Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu]!"

BOOM!

Another explosion of chakra burst forth, and suddenly, the entire battlefield was doubled in chaos. This time, the clones weren't Naruto's—they were Tatsuya's.

A thousand new figures filled the clearing, each identical to Tatsuya. His chakra, amplified a hundredfold, surged through every clone. On top of that, he had the residual chakra of [Shukaku], the One-Tailed Beast, as a backup. Handling a thousand clones was effortless.

Iruka's jaw nearly hit the ground. "H-Have forbidden techniques become this easy to use?!"

Seeing Tatsuya perform the same jutsu was one thing—but for him to do it this effortlessly was mind-boggling.

After all, [Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu] was labeled a forbidden technique for a reason. The chakra consumption was immense, and for most shinobi, using it recklessly could lead to death.

Naruto was equally baffled. He hadn't even taught Tatsuya the jutsu—so how did he pull it off so flawlessly?

"Don't just stand there! Attack!" Tatsuya shouted.

"R-Right!" Naruto stammered before rallying his clones.

Under their command, two thousand clones swarmed Mizuki.

"NOOOO—!"

A flurry of fists, kicks, and jutsu overwhelmed Mizuki. He didn't stand a chance. His screams echoed through the forest as the relentless assault left him battered beyond recognition.

By the time the clones dispersed, Mizuki lay motionless on the ground. There was no question—he was cooked.

Tatsuya exhaled and glanced down at Mizuki's lifeless form. He had considered sparing him, but this outcome was for the best. If Mizuki survived, it would raise too many questions. If the Hokage interrogated him, Tatsuya would have a hard time explaining how he knew about Mizuki's betrayal in the first place.

As Mizuki's final breath faded, a voice echoed in Tatsuya's mind:

[Ding! Mission complete: Eliminate Mizuki!]

Tatsuya's lips curled into a small smile. First mission—seikō! (success!).

With Mizuki dealt with, Iruka finally snapped out of his shock. His gaze flickered between Naruto and Tatsuya, as if seeing them for the first time.

Especially Tatsuya.

The boy had always been quiet, unremarkable in daily life. But this Tatsuya—the one who just pulled off a forbidden technique with ease—felt like a completely different person.

Even so, reality was undeniable.

Taking a deep breath, Iruka walked toward Naruto and placed a gentle hand on his head.

"Naruto… congratulations. You're a genin now."

Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief. Then, a slow grin spread across his face.

Tatsuya chuckled. "Congrats, Naruto. You've earned it."

The mission was complete. Mizuki was gone, Naruto had graduated, and Tatsuya had studied the [Scroll of Seals] in secret. Three birds with one stone!

Naruto wiped his nose with his sleeve. "Alright! Time to celebrate! Let's get some ramen!"

Iruka laughed. "Let's, but maybe after I get some bandages."

"You're still injured, Sensei," Tatsuya reminded him.

"Bah, I've had worse. It's just chakra exhaustion and a few kunai stabs."

Despite his injuries, Iruka's spirit remained high. And so, the three of them headed toward Ichiraku Ramen, their footsteps light with victory.

As for the mess they left behind… someone else would clean it up.

Meanwhile, inside the Hokage's Office—

The Third Hokage sat at his desk, watching the scene unfold through his crystal ball. His wise old eyes lingered on Tatsuya's retreating figure, a thoughtful expression crossing his face.

"Interesting…"

He stroked his beard. "What is this boy's connection to the Uchiha Clan?"

There were only two ways to possess the [Sharingan]:

One, through transplantation, like Kakashi.

Two, by bloodline inheritance, meaning the person was a natural-born Uchiha.

The key difference? A transplanted [Sharingan] remained permanently active, requiring its user to cover the eye to prevent chakra drain. But Tatsuya's [Sharingan] could be activated and deactivated at will.

Which meant…

"He's definitely connected to the Uchiha Clan. But how?"

The Third Hokage furrowed his brows, deep in thought.

Even as he contemplated the mystery, he knew one thing for certain—

Tatsuya was someone worth keeping an eye on.
