Tatsuya nodded. "Just wait. Mizuki-sensei will come find you soon and tell you exactly what to do."

"Mizuki-sensei?" Naruto's brow furrowed in confusion.

"That's right," Tatsuya confirmed. "But listen, you can't let him know you already expect it. If he senses anything off, he won't tell you."

"Got it!" Naruto nodded enthusiastically. Right now, nothing mattered more to him than proving himself and passing the exam.

"Alright then, let's go get some ramen to celebrate!" Naruto suggested excitedly.

Tatsuya shook his head. "Not yet. Right now, you need to go somewhere alone and stay out of sight for a while."

"What? Why?" Naruto blinked.

"You just failed the exam," Tatsuya reminded him. "If you don't act upset, why would Mizuki bother offering you another way?"

Naruto thought about it for a second before giving Tatsuya a thumbs-up. "Whoa! I didn't expect you to be so smart now."

He grinned. "Alright, I'll go hide out then!" And just like that, he dashed off at full speed.

Watching him disappear into the distance, Tatsuya muttered under his breath, "The Scroll of Seals… this is going to be interesting."

The Scroll of Seals contained powerful forbidden jutsu, created by the First Hokage. Apart from the well-known [Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu], [Reaper Death Seal], Might Dai's [Eight Gates], and [Edo Tensei], its contents were still a mystery.

Two hours later…

Naruto came rushing back to find Tatsuya, his face lit up with excitement.

No doubt about it—Mizuki had taken the bait.

Tatsuya had deliberately kept the truth from Naruto, knowing that his loudmouth personality could mess up the plan. Besides, this was a crucial step for Naruto to finally pass his graduation exam.

Not long after, Mizuki successfully manipulated Naruto into stealing the Scroll of Seals. Everything was falling into place.

Mizuki's plan was simple—once Naruto stole the scroll, he would eliminate the boy and take it for himself. Then, using a transformation jutsu, he would disguise himself as Naruto and escape from Konoha without anyone knowing it was him.

What Mizuki didn't realize was that he wasn't the only one playing a game here.

First, there was Tatsuya.

And second, the Third Hokage himself,Sarutobi Hiruzen!

The Third Hokage had already seen through Mizuki's schemes and allowed things to unfold. He had three reasons for doing so:

First, he wanted to give Iruka a chance to finally connect with Naruto and remove the emotional distance between them.

Second, it was a perfect opportunity to deal with Mizuki once and for all.

And third, he wanted Naruto to get a look at the Scroll of Seals!

Otherwise, how else could the Scroll of Seals, which was supposedly kept in the Hokage's office, be so easily stolen? Hiruzen had been in the office at the time—yet Naruto had managed to grab it with a simple 'forbidden' [Sexy Jutsu]. That didn't add up unless it was intentional.

Moreover, Hiruzen had not sent any immediate pursuit after Naruto. Instead, he gave him enough time to escape, only dispatching a few Anbu guards after Naruto had already gotten away. Meanwhile, the Third Hokage sat in his office, watching everything unfold through his crystal ball.

Everything was going according to plan.

Naruto sprinted to the forest cabin that Mizuki had designated as their meeting spot. When he arrived, Tatsuya was already there, waiting for him.

"Tatsuya! I got the Scroll of Seals!" Naruto announced proudly.

Tatsuya smirked. "Nice. Let's open it up and see what kind of crazy jutsus are inside."

"Yeah!" Naruto quickly untied the bindings and unrolled the scroll.

The first forbidden jutsu they saw was [Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu].

But as they read further, the list of forbidden techniques grew even more shocking:

[Four Symbols Seal], [Twin Snakes Mutual Death], [Reaper Death Seal], [Impure World Reincarnation], [Exploding Shadow Clone], [Eight Gates]… and many more.

"Naruto, pick a few to try," Tatsuya suggested.

"Alright!" Naruto eagerly scanned the scroll before settling on the simplest one—[Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu].

This choice was exactly what Tatsuya had expected.

Most of the other jutsu were too difficult, requiring complex hand seals. And since the graduation exam was all about Clone Jutsu, Naruto figured that mastering this technique would guarantee his success.

"Tatsuya, aren't you gonna try any?" Naruto asked curiously.

"I'm just here to observe," Tatsuya replied. "You should start training right away. Mizuki will be here soon."

Hearing that, Naruto nodded and immediately started practicing.

Meanwhile, Tatsuya focused on memorizing as much of the Scroll of Seals as he could. With his current abilities, it was impossible to master any of these forbidden techniques in such a short time.

But that didn't matter.

Because right now, his goal was simple—to remember every jutsu as much as he could.
