Naruto: Deidara’s Struggle

Zabuza sneered coldly. He wasn't some inexperienced rookie ninja. If your abilities rely on explosions, then all he had to do was make sure you couldn't see him.

This was practically the signature jutsu of skilled ninja from Kirigakure. Even Raiga Kurosuki had used the same strategy to counter Deidara's explosive abilities in the past.

White mist infused with chakra began to spread, enveloping the grassy field and the surrounding forest.

The last time Deidara faced the Hidden Mist Technique, he had been in the air and hadn't fully experienced its effects.

Deidara smirked. He thought to himself that Zabuza wasn't like Raiga Kurosuki, who had Lightning Release abilities. Even if Raiga were resurrected, Deidara now had Lightning-Resistant Clay, so it wouldn't matter.

"C1 Special Type: Snake Swarm!"

Once again mimicking the Myriad Snake Net Formation, Deidara unleashed a massive swarm of clay white snakes, which slithered outward to cover the area.

"Shut up, kid!"

A massive sphere of water burst from Zabuza's mouth and transformed into a torrent of waves that swept outward, instantly clearing the clay white snakes around him.

Deidara wasn't fazed by Zabuza's actions. He didn't need the clay white snakes to directly hit Zabuza.

His true intention in releasing the clay white snakes was to use the blast waves from their explosions to disperse the mist. The inspiration for this came from Yagura Karatachi's Wind Release: Passing Typhoon. If Yagura's wind jutsu could do it, then Deidara's bombs could as well.

Sure enough, as the fiery explosions subsided, the dense mist covering the area dispersed, restoring Deidara's vision.

Turning to Deidara with a hint of apology, Haku said, "I'm sorry, but if it's Zabuza-san's command, I must obey."

"Ice Release: Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals!"

Several mirrors made of ice appeared around Deidara, encircling him tightly. Haku's reflection appeared on one of the mirrors, holding four senbon and preparing to attack.

"Haku, be careful!"

"Ha!"

At some point, the battlefield had become filled with clay spiders. Thanks to Insect Form Mastery, Deidara's clay spiders were now more detailed in design and possessed the climbing ability of real spiders.

Using the tiny bristles on their legs, the clay spiders easily scaled the smooth surface of the ice mirrors and promptly blew them to pieces.

"Alright! I've had enough fun. Time to get serious and end this!"

"C1 Special Type: Parasitic Bugs!"

Inspired by Shino Aburame's techniques and enhanced by Insect Form Mastery, Deidara created a swarm of tiny clay bugs capable of infiltrating the human body and causing internal damage.

This technique resembled Deidara's original C4 Garuda from the canon, though it wasn't quite as advanced. While C4 Garuda's bombs were microscopic and invisible to the naked eye, Deidara's current creations were small but still visible.

"Kid! I'll join you!" Zabuza finally relented.

"Huh?" Haku exclaimed in surprise.

"Haku, don't get sentimental. I'm not doing this for you."

"I just suddenly thought that joining such an organization might not be a bad idea. I need a place to settle down anyway," Zabuza said arrogantly.

"Is that so? Then let's kill Haku. He's so weak, there's no point keeping him," Deidara said mockingly.

"Damn it! You brat!" Zabuza growled, unsure how many times he'd said this today.

"If you dare harm Haku, I'll kill you!" Zabuza stood up, gripping his Executioner's Blade tightly, his face fierce as he threatened Deidara.

"Tsk tsk tsk!"

"Haku, it seems your Zabuza-san doesn't just see you as a tool," Deidara teased with a mischievous grin.

"Mm!" Haku lowered her head, her face flushed red like blooming cherry blossoms, looking utterly enchanting.

Suddenly, a thought struck Deidara. With Haku like this, does gender even matter? Even if he's male... well... cough, cough! Let's just wish Zabuza and Haku happiness together.
