However, keeping a clear head, he knew he still needed to proceed step by step. He should first push his body to its limits—master survival skills before chasing bigger dreams. Therefore, he eventually suppressed these thoughts deep within his mind.

Then, he planned to use the Summoning Technique to call forth Ninken Saya so he could send a message home, reporting that he was safe, before setting out on his journey.

He formed hand seals, bit his thumb open, and called out loudly: "Summoning Technique!" Moments later, he saw a beautiful calico cat holding her own rice bowl appear before him—it was indeed his summoned beast and ninken companion, Saya, who was in the middle of eating.

Shiyu glanced sideways, surprised to see that the food in her bowl looked better than what he had eaten recently. A slight sense of grievance stirred within him. At the same time, noticing how Saya had clearly grown taller again, he couldn't help but twitch his lips slightly.

"Saya, you're getting chubbier again—you haven't been training hard, have you? What happened to your big goals? And come on, it's the middle of the night! That's not even dinner time!"

"This is my midnight snack," she purred, clearly proud of herself. "It was specially prepared by Mistress Shizhi for young growing ninken like myself. She said it's really good for development, and Mistress Shizhi also said that plump is cute."

Saya was presenting her flawed logic with a straight face.

She even had the nerve to invoke Uchiha Shizhi's name to pressure Shiyu Uchiha. He could sense that this little one had picked up some bad habits somewhere, all while internally muttering, "You're a ninken, not just some pet cat."

He no longer had the patience to humor her—especially since he wasn't even home right now. This young ninken had grown far too spoiled lately, emboldened by all the indulgence from both Uchiha Shizhi and Mikoto Uchiha. With no more ado, Shiyu Uchiha simply handed her three prepared letters and told her to deliver them.
