My Wolf System -Rank-S

Chapter 49: What have i done to you?

Mike's tears fell down from the rooftop.

He wiped them away and thought to himself:

"I have to stop crying!"

But then his mind screamed:

"What did I do to Lasa?! No, no, no! It's my fault!"

Then Mike shouted:

"I'M TO BLAME FOR EVERYTHING!"

He pulled out his phone and saw the headline:

"Wolf boy kills 26 people."

Mike's phone slipped from his hand and fell off the roof.

But… he had only killed 25 Sals.

Which meant…

Mike collapsed.

He cried and screamed.

Then his hand began to transform.

He shouted:

"SAFE FOREST!"

He woke up in the forest.

He sat down and did nothing. Just stared into the void.

Then Wolf's eyes appeared.

"Human, this is your fault. You need to understand that. But… you can still fix it."

"Yes, your friend has been declared dead, but…"

She's still fighting.

Between life and dea—

"SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!" Mike screamed.

Wolf continued speaking.

"She's still fighting… between life and death.

Mike, you're responsible for all of it."

"JUST SHUT THE H—"

Mike suddenly stopped. He realized:

Wolf was right. He was to blame.

Mike began to speak.

Quietly. So very quietly.

"Wol, is there a way we can train?" Mike asked quietly.

Wol replied,

"Yes. Give me your necklace."

Mike took it off.

"Here."

He tossed it into the air—it began to float… and vanished.

Suddenly, everything went black.

When Mike opened his eyes, he was still in the same forest.

But this time—no timer in the sky.

The glowing eyes were gone too.

Then, right beside him, a ghostly wolf appeared—fully formed, powerful, calm, translucent.

It looked at him.

"Mike… welcome to your five months of training.

With me."

"Five months with Wol."

At the hospital for Sals—

You could hear a mix of voices—Giel, Kad, Has.

"What was that?"

"Mike would never do something like this!"

"Will she… will she make it?"

But then a doctor shouted:

"Let us do our job!"

Silence followed.

The group sat back down, still whispering among themselves.

Kad walked to the window, watching the rising sun.

He closed his eyes and thought:

"Mike… why are you doing this?"

Giel walked over and patted him on the back.

"Lasa's going to be okay. And as for Mike… he wasn't himself. (Of course he wasn't.)

We'll fix everything—"

But Giel suddenly stopped mid-sentence.

He had turned—and saw Has.

And in Has's eyes:

Fury. Rage.

Has said coldly:

"I'm going to kill Mike."

"Light Flash!"

A sudden blinding light burst in the waiting room.

Giel and Kad shielded their eyes, blinking.

"Has! Mike probably isn't even fully—" Giel shouted.

"He didn't mean to do it!"

They all sat down again, tense, emotions boiling.

Then, a doctor entered the room.

He looked serious.

And then he began to speak:

"She—"
