My Werewolf System

In the middle of his fight, Lupus using his vast strength had pulled the horns off from Austin's evolved form. In the end, even with him being a mythical type of beast, and him unlocking the full potential, for him to take on someone like Lupus, it was too far, a level which he just wasn't able to reach.

"I'm surprised you dared to mention that name in front of me, especially when you are in my territory!" Lupus claimed.

Right then, bolts were shot straight at Lupus, while several daggers had been thrown as well. His sharp ears had picked up on the attacks, and jumping through the air he easily had avoided them.

While in the air Lupus looked at who the attackers were and to his surprise the Altered hunters that had been standing at the side the entire time, they had finally decided to make a move.

Seeing this, Lupus flicked his nail, and it was ready to hit one of them right in the head, before a strange makeshift shield like item was brought out in front.

However, the shield wasn't enough to stop the great power of Lupus; the force broke right through it, and hit the man right in the shoulder.

The nail forcefully continued through, breaking in the ground and Lupus finally landed on his feet.

One of the hunters swung their sword sideways at Lupus. Before he had even reached Lupus just kicked the air in front of him. It hit the man right in the stomach, and sent him off his feet.

He flew back in the air even further then where the van was until he had broken through the garden.

"He didn't even touch him…and was able to send him flying back that far?!" One of the hunters was bewildered and was wondering if they had made a mistake to try and come in and attack.

"Remember, you were the ones that had come in my territory," Lupus claimed. "This is my city, you have come to hunt my people, I am just doing what I can to protect it!"

In terms of strength maybe Lupus was on par with Harvor. Especially being transformed, but where the difference lay was in the whole scale of physicality.

Lupus hadn't even begun to show him the full extent of his strength, and bending his knees he was getting ready to pounce on all of the hunters, finishing them all off one by one.

When he was ready to move though he felt a strong grip right by his leg. Looking down he could see the hornless man had moved, he had crawled across the ground leaving a trail of blood from his horns, all to just grab onto him.

"You…are resilient as ever, do you want to be eaten now?" Lupus asked. "Is that why you've come here to me."

Austin lifted his head, the blood dripping from his horns was starting to stop. It was extremely painful having them ripped from his body, but a powerful mythical Altered like him, wouldn't die from a wound like that.

His heart, or his brain would have to be crushed before they could get rid of him.

"Those words I spoke early, did they really make you so mad?" Austin said. "You must be really sensitive right?

"I heard the story…that there can only be one Alpha. You have always been scared that someone will come, and take everything that you built up away from you.

"And you know what, no matter what the problems are, no matter what troubles Gary has faced along the way, and if you decide to get in his way…then you will be gone away."

Lupus, aggravated, swung his leg, that was all it took to get Austin to let go with his grip. The power of the kick was so strong that it had even torn out his shoulder socket.

"Are you an idiot!" Lupus said as he pulled Austin up from the ground and looked him directly in the eye. "Do you think I like killing my own kind, let alone my own family.

"Do you think, I'm the one that wants to see the destruction of everything. Have you blindly just been following those from the Settlement.

"If we show weakness, if we don't grow in power then they will come for us and eliminate us! I'm not the one that caused the two Alphas to have a problem.

"But if two Alphas exist, those from the Settlement will use it to take advantage of the situation. If we lose our power due to an internal struggle then we will no longer exist.

"Everything I do, is for the sake for us, who have been told we are not allowed to live, so we can live, so we can actually live a damned life!" Lupus shouted in anger and threw Austin towards the ground.

His body bounced off the floor, and blood split out of his mouth. Austin was still breathing but weakly.

"None of you understand anything, yet you get involved, all of you are just a bunch of kids…and I feel saddened that you have been involved in this game of a bunch of adults!" Lupus anger still growing he continued to walk across ready to finish Austin off.

"We…" Austin said. "We too…are just trying to survive..I just want to…enjoy our time again, at the Wolf's pool club."

"Those are some good words kid!" A voice said from above, as feet could be seen landing right in front of him.

Hunters came running out to the others to evaluate the situation.

"We all, need to head back, and enjoy our life as it is," Edvard said with a smile looking at Austin.
