My SSS-Rank Clone Talent: I Level Up Endlessly!

Chapter 266: Demi-God!?

"How could he not be dead yet?" came the roar from the Mythos Priest as he looked at a red ball hovering before him. "I sacrificed the last guardian of our race, and these guys didn't even die from it? What should I do?"

Words couldn't begin to describe the rage he was feeling.

"I told you so," Mirabella said from the side. "No matter what you throw at him, he will find a way out of it."

"If the Devourer had devoured him, then everything that belonged to him would have belonged to us. But now, there's no use for it."

The Mythos Priest couldn't help but sigh in pity. Truly, he felt pity while looking at the completely fine state of Zarek.

In the end, he could only swallow his loss in resignation because there was nothing he could do about it.

"Oh, well."

The ball of red hovered in front of him as his eyes flashed with contemplation. He was tempted to eat it, but he looked at Mirabella from the corner of his eyes. A trace of hesitation appeared on his face, but then he looked up. "All for the greater good of the Mythos race."

Mumbling to himself, he handed the ball of red to Mirabella, who had a confused expression while tilting her head.

"Eat it. You will be able to gain energy and gain more power," he spoke with a deep, rough tone.

"Okay." Curiosity piqued, Mirabella directly ate it.

She could feel that her body was slowly but surely changing because of her bloodline shift. Now she had both the pure human bloodline and the bloodline of the demons constantly conflicting within her body.

But a strange power had intervened, and the Mythos bloodline had won over.

Although she still retained her human bloodline, it was now merging together, and strange changes were happening to her body.

In appearance, she looked exactly as before because the process was extremely slow. As for the outcome? Even Mirabella didn't know.

But Mirabella knew one thing for certain: she had switched sides and sided with the Mythos race.

So, would they hurt her?

The answer would be: No! A big no!

As Mirabella ate the red ball of energy before her, she could immediately feel her body changing rapidly.

In just a few moments, an unimaginable amount of energy coursed through her body.

Crack!

Something cracked inside her.

"Hmm?" Her brows knitted. She could feel a faint, invisible chain binding her body.

And these chains were cracking faintly, but the cracks were slowly spreading outward.

She couldn't help but grunt.

With the chains breaking, her skin was breaking simultaneously. It was as if—as if—

"I am breaking out of a restriction."

That's right, she felt no pain but instead pleasure; a moan couldn't help but escape her lips.

Then she fell to the ground, writhing for some time in pure agony before she finally stopped when the chains around her completely broke apart.

Her mouth opened and formed an "O."

A bright red light flashed in her body, and a terrifying mass of energy exploded out of her.

The Mythos Priest looked at this with stunned eyes; his lips couldn't help but tremble:

"H-has she broken her restriction?"

After some time, the light subsided, and Mirabella stood with a completely calm expression.

Her body was still the same, with long flowing golden hair and matching golden pupils.

But there was a strange mark, or, suppose you could call it a tattoo, on her forehead.

Almost like a third eye, it was weird and strange in every right.

"Congratulations, you have achieved the status of a demi-god," the Mythos Priest said calmly, though the excitement couldn't be hidden.

Mirabella stood there in silence for a moment, her head tilted ever so slightly, and she asked after clearing her throat:

"Demi-god?"

At this moment, she didn't feel stronger than before, but her senses to the world felt much sharper. She could even see a strange golden glittering light circulating around her: divine energy.

She could see Divine Energy, something that can only be sensed!

Not only that, she could even see Zarek, who was frowning outside while looking at the temple, and she could faintly discern his thoughts and emotions.

"That's right, Demi-god. That is one step further into becoming a God. You have shed the mortal bindings that restrict mortal senses. I don't have to say it—you can feel it yourself," the priest said with a voice brimming with excitement.

And Mirabella couldn't help but nod in agreement; she could feel the changes around her.

Then she extended her hands forward.

Outside the temple, Zarek, who was just contemplating his next action, suddenly felt the wind rush up, and in just a few seconds, a terrifying storm brewed, trying to push him away.

Zarek just sneered in disdain as he extended his hand. Telekinetic energy surged outwards, halting the very storm.

"Hmm." His eyes slightly narrowed. He could feel a certain restriction obstructing his Telekinetic energy, and in just a moment, to his stunned eyes, the storm continued its march toward him.

"This… this…"

Zarek was stunned, but he wasn't outmatched. Casually making a fist, he punched forward.

Swish!

An equally terrifying wind countered the storm, and both destroyed each other.

Zarek stood there, stunned:

"What was that?"

Inside the darkness, Mirabella closed her eyes. "This power is intoxicating. It is as if the entire world follows my whims."

"That's right, Mirabella," the Mythos Priest at her side chuckled.

"You have reached the Demi-god stage with the merging of the pure human bloodline and the Mythos race through the help of our god. Why don't you pray to him?"

Mirabella nodded, fanaticism in her eyes, falling to her knees and joining her hands together, mumbling incoherent words.

As the priestess of the human race, naturally she had knowledge of the Mythos race, and from her bloodline, she already knew how to pray to the Mythos God!
