My NTR Harem

Chapter 304: Date

"Who knows, we might not even survive the calamity, so enjoy these days as if they are your last. I won't think negatively about you because of it. Go buy whatever you want, bring Emma and Aunty Angelina with you."

After speaking, he turned around and walked away, but a red fluid moved out from his body. It moved under Tess's slippers without anyone noticing the change—he left Velm in case there was any kind of danger.

"She must be arriving at the location soon." Lucian checked the time on his mobile and saw there were only twenty or so minutes left before their meeting time.

His car was delivered last night, but he didn't plan to bring it. After walking out of his house, Lucian began to float in the air, and within moments, he disappeared.

In front of a fountain, Diana stood in a beautiful red dress holding her purse. She had spent a few hours just to choose the perfect dress for this occasion, since most of her clothes were only for meetings.

She looked at the time and saw that she had arrived at the destination more than twenty minutes earlier. Diana just felt too excited as she thought about meeting him again—just after spending a day together, and his face was imprinted into her mind.

'The wait is killing me, I couldn't even properly sleep last night… is love really like that? It makes people act stupid. I couldn't even finish any work yesterday.' Diana sighed, but she was enjoying this feeling too much.

She glanced around, and then finally she saw him!!

He was wearing black-coloured clothes, suiting perfectly for the occasion. Just one look and Diana found it hard to tear her gaze away from him. He looked too handsome, making people wonder if he really is a human.

"Good morning, did you wait long?" Lucian asked with a smile. It didn't even take him a minute to arrive at this place from his house.

"N-No, I just arrived." Diana stared at his face and replied.

Taking a step towards her, Lucian brushed a lock of her hair behind her ear. Then he said in a sweet voice: "You look very beautiful. You should wear dresses like this more."

"Ah, thank you." Diana smiled. Her hard work had paid off—just a simple compliment made her feel as if she was about to ascend into the sky.

"Shall we go?" Bringing her out of her daze, Lucian asked and extended his hand towards her.

"…Yes!" Diana took his hand. First, she held his hand normally, then she slightly turned it and entwined her fingers with his, holding hands in a more intimate way.

Her heart was beating rapidly. She felt relieved that Lucian didn't pull away. Diana enjoyed the softness and warmth of his palm.

Then they walked together slowly, making small talk and attracting envious gazes from all around.

Their first destination was a cinema hall. Since Lucian and Diana both didn't have any interest in a romantic movie, they were going to watch a newly released action movie, in which the main character goes on some mission that is impossible.

After purchasing drinks and popcorn, both took their seats, and even there they held hands. It sure was a unique experience for the both of them.

After the movie ended, they walked around in the market just talking about random things, looking at beautiful sceneries, and soon found a good restaurant. It wasn't a high-end one since they chose a simple one.

"Order whatever you like," Lucian said, passing the menu to her. Then they ordered for both of them.

"I still remember the first time I sat in a flight. I was going alone to a foreign country because of a project back then, and—"

RING RING

While Diana was speaking, her mobile began to ring. She glanced at it and saw that it was her secretary. Out of habit, Diana was about to pick the call, but then she remembered that she was on a date.

She looked at Lucian and saw that he was just faintly smiling and didn't stop her. But she knew—based on her behaviour, he would find out whether she was giving more priority to him or her work. And if she gave more priority to her work, then this date might be the last.

She put the mobile on silent and put it back.

"You should hear it. Maybe it is important," Lucian said in a neutral tone.

"It's fine, I can deal with the work later. This is more important," Diana replied. She didn't want to give him any reason to reject her.

Soon the food arrived. Diana forgot all about the call as she enjoyed this wonderful date with him. She felt like she could continue talking forever if it's with him.

By the time they were about to finish, a waiter walked up to them and brought over an expensive bottle of wine—expensive based on the restaurant's standards, but for the two, it was quite cheap.

"Ma'am, for you," the waiter said as he put the bottle on the table and smiled.

Diana felt puzzled and glanced at Lucian, wondering if he was the one who ordered it. But seeing his confused expression, she understood that wasn't the case.

"Is this a gift from the restaurant?" Lucian asked.

"No sir, this expensive bottle of wine is a gift to this lady from that good sir." While speaking, the waiter pointed to a table not too far away from theirs.

A man in a white suit sat there. Seeing Diana look towards him, he smiled charmingly and raised the glass. He looked to be in his thirties and looked decent.

Diana frowned slightly, then looked at the waiter and said: "Take this back. Can't you see I am here with my… my partner?"

"Ah, I am sorry about that." The waiter took the bottle and walked away.

"Heh. You are quite famous, lady. All the men here kept stealing glances at you. Anyway, you shouldn't reject free gifts," Lucian chuckled.

"Nothing could be free. There are always hidden motives and plots behind such things," Diana replied while smiling wryly. She didn't even want to talk about looks. Lucian was like a magnet that pulled the gazes of all the women around towards him—even if they were married.

Just as the two finished eating and called for the bill, the same waiter once again arrived at their table while carrying the wine bottle with an embarrassed face.

"Didn't I tell you that I don't need it? Give it back to him." Diana glared at the waiter, scaring him shitless.

"M-Ma'am, I did that, but he said I don't need this thing back. This is a gift for you—do whatever you want with it." The waiter said while stuttering. That man had also said a few things about love and heart, but the waiter was too scared to continue.

Diana didn't even glance back at the man as she picked up the bottle and threw it towards the corner. It shattered and wine covered the floor.

"Oh, sorry. Add the damages to the bill," Diana spoke, her voice icy cold.
