My Garbage Collecting Cheat-Skill in Survival Game

Chapter 18: Chapter 18 "Onyx Mask-Deal"

Behind his onyx mask, Ray looked at all three men and one woman who were trying to open the doors of his truck.

Instead of stopping them or taking any action, he simply waited to see what these people were trying to do.

"From the looks of their clothes and stupid actions, they seemed to be players." After examining them for 15 minutes, Ray came to the conclusion that they weren't the owners of the cars he had stolen, which he had thought at first.

Secondly, the way they were talking, it seemed they were some rogue group of players who were trying their luck with his truck.

'From level 3 to 5, huh!'

Then, "You seem to be struggling, do you need help?" his deep voice resonated in the underground parking, startling all of them.

"Shit, we were caught!" the fat man spoke, while hiding behind the woman with glasses.

They were all alert, taking out their weapons or skills.

Seeing this, Ray chuckled, "Don't worry, I am not here looking for any fight. So, keep those things down before I change my mind."

His deep voice was reverberating in their mind. Then they slowly backed off, but the large guy, still vigilant, spoke, "Who are you? What are you doing in this place?"

Ray tilted his head, "Do you own this place?" his voice threatening.

"No! No! I mean this place was sealed and we were trying to open it for many days and then when we came today, we found the doors broken and this place was empty, except for this truck." The large man spoke in one breath then stopped for air.

Asking in a vigilant tone, "Are you also here for this thing?"

"What are you talking about, that truck…" He was about to tell him that he owns the truck but the large man interrupted him, "I know that they were hiding this thing here, and we were the one who found it. So you back off, you don't know that we are…"

This time, it was his chance to be interrupted. Ray spoke in a cold tone, "Get those filthy hands from my monster."

The large man didn't want to budge, but Ray's cold voice with the mysterious onyx mask on his face made his threat more serious.

As the large man stepped aside, he was still thinking of fighting Ray for the truck, however, the moment Ray got close to the truck, the lifeless-looking truck suddenly began rumbling.

Its engine roared like a beast. Then Ray turned back, "So, what were you saying?"

All of them were stunned. They actually thought that those closed doors were hiding the arsenal truck and when they found it here, they all had hopes high, thinking they were going to get rich if they sold this thing. But now with Ray, its owner, here, their whole dream of becoming rich was shattered.

Ray seeing their faces spoke, "So what were you thinking of doing if you got your hands on this thing?" He genuinely asked them, but they were all too nervous to even answer.

Then he looked at the large man who sensed Ray's gaze and answered, "W...We were…thinking of selling it, but…" he came up with the reason.

"We didn't know it had an owner. We thought this was just left here by someone from this world and they died. So, basically we didn't do anything…We just wanted to earn some cash and buy better equipment for us to try the next mini-game."

"Hnnn," Ray thought then with an idea clicking in his mind, he offered, "I can help you in earning, at least better than what you were doing so, do you want to try becoming rich?"

They had a confused look in their eyes. They were literally trying to rob his truck, though they failed in it and even after all the explanations, they were still guilty. But here Ray was offering them a deal to become rich.

"And what would that be?" the large man asked.

"Do you see this monster?" he gave a pat to his truck.

"I want to sell modified vehicles like this, from cars to mini-trucks. They are best to venture in the wilderness, especially outside of the ruined city. So, if you help me create a channel to sell my cars. In return, I'll pay you 10% as the commission fee."

Ray could see their eyes chimed with dollar signs. Then the big guy asked, "You are a player?"

From the moment they met to this moment, they were thinking Ray was an NPC and not a player, but when Ray disclosed the info of modified cars, the big guy was hit by a sudden realization that the man in front isn't an NPC but a player just like them.

"Yes? When did I mention I'm not a player?" Ray asked, in his same cold voice.

"Oh, we thought otherwise," the glasses-wearing woman spoke, then nudged the shoulders of the big guy. "Big brother, agree first before he change his mind."
