My Billionaire Stepmother and Seven Sisters

Chapter 9: Chapter 9: A Day of Pure Happiness

The morning sun peeked through the luxurious curtains of the grand mansion, casting a golden glow over my room. I slowly opened my eyes, feeling the warmth of my soft bed and the gentle breathing of my mother beside me. Her arms were wrapped around me protectively, as if even in her sleep, she refused to let me go.

I blinked, still adjusting to the new reality of my life. The love and warmth I had been receiving were unfamiliar, yet strangely comforting. I turned my head slightly and saw my mother's peaceful face. Her long lashes fluttered slightly, and her lips curled into a soft smile even in sleep.

Just then, a soft knock echoed at the door. Before I could even react, the door burst open, and my sisters rushed inside, their faces filled with excitement.

"Good morning, my little prince!" Sophia, my eldest sister, greeted me with a warm smile, her elegant presence making the whole room feel like it belonged to royalty.

"We planned something special for today!" Olivia chimed in, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

I sat up, rubbing my eyes. "Special?" I asked sleepily.

Isabella, my military leader sister, scooped me up effortlessly, placing me on her lap as she chuckled. "We're going on an adventure today! Just the family. No business, no work, just us!"

An adventure? My heart skipped a beat. I had never been on an adventure before.

My mother slowly sat up, stretching as she yawned. "What's all this commotion so early in the morning?" she asked, her voice laced with affection.

Charlotte pouted dramatically. "Mama, you promised we'd spend the whole day with him! No work, no meetings, just fun!"

My mother smiled and nodded. "Of course, my love. Today is all about our baby."

Mia clapped her hands. "Then let's get him ready! We're going shopping, to the amusement park, and then a fancy dinner!"

Lily, the professor, pushed up her glasses. "And we must ensure he enjoys every moment."

My mother leaned down and kissed my forehead. "Did you hear that, sweetheart? Today is going to be all about you."

I looked at all of them, their faces full of love and excitement. My heart felt warm, but there was still a small hesitation within me. Could I really be this happy?

After a luxurious breakfast filled with laughter, we all got ready. My mother dressed me in a stylish outfit personally designed by Charlotte. I felt like a little prince as they complimented me endlessly.

Our first stop was an exclusive shopping mall. The moment we stepped in, people turned their heads, whispering in awe. My sisters were famous, after all, and my mother was one of the most powerful women in the world. But instead of basking in the attention, they focused entirely on me.

"Pick anything you like, sweetheart," my mother said, holding my hand as we walked through the enormous mall.

I hesitated. "Anything?"

Emily nodded. "Of course. Whatever makes you happy."

For the first time in my life, I wasn't being scolded for asking for things. Instead, they encouraged me to pick whatever I liked. My little hands hesitantly pointed at a stuffed bear, and before I knew it, my sisters had already bought an entire collection of stuffed animals for me.

We spent hours shopping, with them constantly showering me with love and attention. I felt like a prince being doted on by his royal family.

But the best part of the day was yet to come.

The amusement park was like nothing I had ever seen before. Bright lights, thrilling rides, and delicious smells surrounded me. My sisters and mother held my hands tightly as we walked through the park, making sure I never felt alone.

"Which ride do you want to go on first?" Isabella asked with a smirk. "Something fast and exciting?"

My eyes widened as I looked around. There were so many choices! But one ride caught my attention— a giant Ferris wheel that touched the sky.

"That one," I said, pointing.

Sophia chuckled. "A wonderful choice, my love."

We all got into a large, luxurious gondola, and as the Ferris wheel started moving, I saw the entire city beneath us. It was breathtaking.

My mother wrapped her arms around me. "Beautiful, isn't it?" she whispered.

I nodded, feeling the safest I had ever felt in my life.

One by one, my sisters hugged me, each whispering how much they loved me. The hesitation in my heart started to melt away. Maybe… just maybe… this was what family was supposed to feel like.

That evening, we had dinner at an extravagant restaurant. My mother personally fed me, and my sisters fussed over me like I was a fragile treasure.

As I lay in bed that night, snuggled in my mother's arms, I realized something.

For the first time in my life… I felt truly loved.
