My Billionaire Stepmother and Seven Sisters

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: A Day of Endless Love and Play

Morning light filtered through the large windows, bathing the luxurious bedroom in a golden glow. I slowly opened my eyes, my small body nestled between Mama and Papa. The warmth of their embrace was something I was still getting used to, but it felt... safe.

Mama was already awake, her soft fingers running through my hair. When she saw me stir, her face lit up with a radiant smile. "Good morning, my little love. Did you sleep well?" she asked in a voice as warm as sunlight.

I nodded sleepily, still too shy to say much. She chuckled softly and kissed my forehead. Papa, on the other hand, stretched his arms and ruffled my hair playfully. "Look who's finally awake! Did our little prince have nice dreams?"

I blinked at him and gave a small nod. The truth was, I couldn't remember my dreams. But waking up like this, surrounded by love, was better than any dream I could have imagined.

Before I could fully wake up, the door burst open, and my sisters stormed in like a whirlwind. "He's awake!" Olivia cheered, rushing toward me. Isabella and Emily were right behind her, while Charlotte, Mia, and Lily followed with wide smiles.

Sophia, the eldest, placed her hands on her hips and shook her head. "You all have no patience," she said with a small smile, but she too couldn't hide her excitement.

I barely had a moment to react before I was scooped up into Isabella's strong arms. "Today, we're going to have the best time!" she declared.

"Wait! We need to let him freshen up first!" Lily protested. "And have breakfast!"

"Fine, fine," Isabella sighed dramatically and set me down. "But after that, he's ours for the day!"

I felt overwhelmed by all the attention, but there was also a strange warmth inside my chest. These people—my Mama, my Papa, and my sisters—truly cared about me. But could I really belong to them?

After a quick morning routine and a breakfast filled with laughter and delicious food, my sisters were determined to make this a perfect day.

"We're taking you to the amusement park today!" Mia announced, clapping her hands.

"Amusement park?" I tilted my head in confusion.

"It's a place full of rides, games, and fun things to do!" Charlotte explained enthusiastically. "You're going to love it!"

Before I could even process everything, we were already in the car, speeding toward the amusement park. The entire journey, my sisters fussed over me—fixing my hair, adjusting my clothes, making sure I was comfortable. It was... nice.

When we arrived, my eyes widened in awe. The place was massive, with colorful rides stretching as far as I could see. People laughed and cheered as they went on different attractions. My sisters held my hands tightly, making sure I wouldn't get lost.

"Where should we go first?" Emily asked, scanning the area.

"The Ferris wheel!" Charlotte suggested.

"No, the rollercoaster!" Isabella argued.

"He should decide!" Olivia said, looking down at me with a smile. "What do you want to try first, sweetheart?"

I looked around, feeling overwhelmed by all the choices. But something caught my eye—a small train ride that looked gentle and safe.

"That one," I pointed shyly.

Instead of laughing, my sisters all nodded eagerly. "Great choice!" Sophia praised, leading me toward the ride.

One by one, they accompanied me on different rides, making sure I never felt scared or alone. Olivia held my hand on the carousel, Charlotte made sure I had the best seat on the bumper cars, and Emily bought me a giant stuffed bear after I won a game. Each moment was filled with laughter and warmth, and for the first time in a long time, I felt like a real child.

By the time the day ended, I was exhausted. My small body leaned against Mama as we drove home, the stuffed bear clutched tightly in my arms.

"Did you have fun today?" she whispered, stroking my cheek.

I hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yes..."

Mama's eyes softened, and she hugged me tightly. "I'm so happy, my love. We'll make sure every day is just as wonderful for you."

I didn't fully understand why they cared so much, but at that moment, as I drifted into sleep in her arms, I didn't mind. Maybe... just maybe, I could start believing that I belonged here after all.
