Chapter 60: MCSDB Chapter 52 Raditz Questions His Reality (Part 2)
"Gulp!"
"H-How much?" Raditz stammered, staring at Jiang Chen in shock.
"See for yourself," Jiang Chen replied with a chuckle, casually tossing a scouter towards Raditz.
Raditz fumbled to catch it, nearly dropping it in his haste. His hands shook as he clumsily began to operate the device. At one point, he almost let it slip through his fingers.
After what felt like an eternity, Raditz finally managed to put the scouter on.
"Beep, Beep!"
The scouter activated, and its display began analyzing Jiang Chen's battle power.
"Beep, beep, beep!"
The numbers started climbing rapidly:
1,000!
2,000!
3,000!
5,000!
10,000!
15,000!
Raditz's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the final number. His jaw dropped, and he trembled uncontrollably.
Even though Jiang Chen had already told him that his battle power was 15,000, seeing it confirmed on the scouter was a completely different experience.
To Raditz, this was unimaginable. On Planet Vegeta, the strongest warriors had barely surpassed 10,000. His father, Bardock, a legendary Saiyan warrior, was considered exceptional with a battle power close to 10,000.
But Jiang Chen, younger and not part of the royal lineage, had already reached 15,000, surpassing any Saiyan in history.
Raditz had thought his own growth over the past two years— from 400 to 1,000 battle power— was incredible. After all, he had surpassed Nappa, a distinguished elite Saiyan, and was only slightly weaker than Prince Vegeta, the acknowledged prodigy of their race.
But now, compared to Jiang Chen, Raditz's achievements seemed utterly insignificant.
"A-Aspara... have you... have you become a Super Saiyan?" Raditz asked suddenly, his voice rising in a mix of awe and fear. "Wait... could it be? Are you the legendary Super Saiyan?"
Hearing this, Jiang Chen paused for a moment before bursting into laughter.
"Super Saiyan? Of course not!"
"What? Then how...?" Raditz asked, his face filled with doubt.
"Don't overthink it. This is just the result of my training," Jiang Chen explained, his tone calm but amused. "Plus, I had some help from Namek's Great Elder."
Raditz's eyes widened even further. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.
The Great Elder? Training alone was one thing, but assistance from Namek's Great Elder? That was completely beyond his comprehension.
From earlier Events with Shenron, Raditz had already sensed that Namek was extraordinary, but he hadn't realized just how unique it was. Having advanced training methods was one thing, but the ability to unlock potential and dramatically enhance battle power? That was beyond his imagination.
If Jiang Chen could raise his battle power to 15,000, Raditz couldn't help but dream. He didn't dare to aim that high— 10,000 would suffice. Even 7,000 or 8,000 would be a dream come true.
"Don't overthink it. Focus on your training first," Jiang Chen said with a chuckle, watching Raditz's eager expression. "For now, I'll teach you how to sense and use Ki. As for unlocking your potential, we'll talk about it after you've mastered the basics."
"Okay! Got it!" Raditz quickly nodded, his excitement palpable.
"Aspara, let's start right now!"
Despite his impatience, Raditz understood that following Jiang Chen's guidance was the only way to grow stronger.
Thus, Jiang Chen began teaching Raditz the basics of Ki manipulation.
Time flew by, and soon a day had passed. As the countdown timer neared its end, Jiang Chen's login session was also coming to a close.
"Second login session has ended!"
"Returning to the original world. Please wait."
"Countdown: 19, 18, 17..."
The familiar mechanical voice echoed in Jiang Chen's mind.
As the countdown reached its final moments, a brilliant light, visible only to Jiang Chen, descended from the heavens. In an instant, the light enveloped him completely.
Jiang Chen felt a sudden heaviness in his head, followed by a sensation of weightlessness.
Moments later, his vision blurred, and when it cleared, he found himself surrounded by the familiar, endless expanse of white.
"First login session has ended!"
"Synchronizing data."
"Synchronization complete!"
The mechanical voice continued as streams of radiant energy converged before Jiang Chen, forming a shimmering, translucent card.
Name: Aspara
Race: Saiyan
Battle Power: 15,000
"Ding! Mission Card Updated!"
"Congratulations! You've completed the initial main storyline mission. World rewards are being distributed!"
Lines of text appeared before Jiang Chen, accompanied by the familiar, shimmering card.
As the mechanical voice announced the updates, Jiang Chen found himself back in the spatial realm where his login sessions began.
"Rewards distributed."
"Congratulations! You've earned the title: World Conqueror."
The voice faded, leaving Jiang Chen to process his achievements and next steps.
"Reward Obtained: Character Synchronization."
"Note: By using Character Synchronization, the host will gradually merge with all the attributes of the character card."
The mechanical voice echoed once more.
As soon as the announcement ended—
"Buzz!"
The golden card began to emit a soft, radiant light, slowly enveloping Jiang Chen's entire body.
A warm and comforting sensation spread throughout him, accompanied by a surge of information directly flooding his mind.
Jiang Chen quickly understood the situation.
With the completion of the main storyline mission, he had officially become a World Conqueror. Unlike before, when he could at best be considered a trainee, the abilities he possessed back then were only temporary.
Now, as a full-fledged World Conqueror, everything had changed.
The most significant difference was the ability to permanently acquire all the abilities of the logged-in character. While the synchronization process required time to align with the world's rules, it was fundamentally distinct from the temporary access granted during his trainee phase.
Moreover, becoming a World Conqueror came with another major privilege: the ability to enter other worlds.
As long as Jiang Chen possessed login permissions, he could freely enter new worlds and carry over his entire accumulated power.
This was a stark contrast to his earlier status as a trainee. Back then, even if he had login permissions for a new world, he couldn't enter unless the character from his first world had died.
While this privilege might not seem immediately useful, its potential for future endeavors was immense— particularly the ability to carry over all his power.
Even Jiang Chen, calm as he usually was, couldn't hide the excitement in his glowing eyes.
(The synchronization process won't take long and is essentially the same as aligning with the world.)
