Mr. Bo’s Milk Sweetener is A Mermaid Omega

Chapter 89

“Sijue, since you like him, bring him to me so I can see him! I want to see what kind of man he is, to capture your attention.”

No matter how much Old Madam Bo objected in her heart, she refrained from saying anything harsh. She was considered a reasonable elder in the wealthy and aristocratic circles.

“You can’t see him anymore!”

The man lowered his eyes, his tone full of disappointment, which left Old Madam Bo stunned.

Her eldest grandson had always been high-spirited and proud since childhood. It was the first time she had seen him look so despondent.

“Sijue, why couldn’t I see him? Are you afraid of what I might do to him? Even if your grandma didn’t approve of you two being together, she wouldn’t do anything despicable!”

Old Madam Bo’s aged face showed doubt, her tone filled with questions.

“He’s gone, and I’m looking for him,” Bo Sijue said, raising his head. His dark eyes reflected deep affection and sadness.

“Gone?”

Old Madam Bo frowned slightly, feeling a pang of regret. How could it be such an unfortunate coincidence? She had truly wanted to meet the man who had captivated her great-grandson so completely!

Turning to look at her eldest grandson’s dejected demeanour, she couldn’t help but show a trace of heartache.

Her eldest grandson had lost his mother at a young age because of her trash son’s infidelity. He was a pitiful child. Perhaps it was because of this that he had fallen in love with a man.

If she guided him properly, she believed her eldest grandson could still return to the right path.

Thinking this, Old Madam Bo reached out, took Bo Sijue’s hand, and patted it comfortingly. A look of concern softened her elegant features as she spoke with sincerity.

“Sijue, don’t be sad. With our Bo family’s resources, we’ll surely find him soon. However, you two are not suitable for each other. It’s better to let each other go.”

As soon as Bo Sijue heard her words, it was as if something snapped within him. A cold light flashed in his dark pupils, and his aura turned morbid and obsessive.

“Are you suggesting I let him go? Impossible. I will never allow him to leave me. When I find him, I will keep him by my side forever and never let him leave.”

“This, this…”

Old Madam Bo was startled by the darkness reflected in her eldest grandson’s eyes and didn’t know how to respond.

For her eldest grandson, once he had decided on something since childhood, it seemed there was nothing anyone could do to dissuade him.

“You brat! Even if you like men, is this how you speak to your grandma?”

Old Master. Bo, a staunch defender of his wife, frowned slightly upon hearing his grandson contradict Old Madam Bo in such a way, his tone carrying a hint of dissatisfaction.

Bo Sijue, anxious to find Bai Junluo, didn’t want to waste more time. He quickly said his farewells to the two elders.

“Since you two are safe, I’ll send someone to escort you back. I have something urgent to attend to, so I’ll take my leave.”

As Bo Sijue turned and walked away, Old Master Bo felt ignored and immediately displayed his frustration, yelling after him: “Hey, you brat! I haven’t finished talking to you yet!”

However, Bo Sijue was too preoccupied with finding someone to pay attention. Without looking back, he walked out the door.

“Hey, this brat! Ever since I retired and he took over, he really doesn’t take me seriously anymore.”

Old Master Bo raised his eyebrows and stroked his chin in irritation.

Old Madam Bo, more observant, noticed her grandson’s hurried departure and immediately guessed his intention. She glanced at Old Master Bo, her tone tinged with disdain.

“You old man, always showing off your authority. Sijue is in a rush to find someone. How can he have time to entertain you? We haven’t seen him in so long, and now we’re about to part ways. Let’s go give him a proper send-off.”

“Hmph! I won’t go.”

Old Master Bo turned his head slightly, an arrogant expression crossing his face.

“If you, stubborn old man, won’t go, then I will.”

With that, Old Madam Bo began walking out.

Seeing her leave, Old Master Bo, despite his grumbling, followed behind immediately, as his habit of doting on his wife won over his pride.

.

‘Where is this?’

In a private room, Bai Junluo slowly opened his eyes, his expression dazed as he sat up from the bed.

“Cough, cough…”

He coughed several times, realizing his throat was painfully sore. His delicate face scrunched up in discomfort.

It hurts so much!

Gulu gulu…

A loud growl from his stomach broke the silence.

Bai Junluo climbed out of bed, determined to find something to eat. However, as he opened the door and took his first step, he bumped into a solid wall of flesh.

“Ah…”

He lowered his head and placed a hand over his forehead.

‘My head hurts so much. What’s so hard?’

The gloomy face of the man he had bumped into darkened even further. Just as the man was about to get angry, a familiar scent of roses quietly wafted into his nose.

In an instant, the man’s head shot up, his dark eyes lighting up with sudden brilliance.

It was him—his boy. After searching for so long, he had finally found him.

Without hesitation, Bo Sijue extended his large palm and pulled the young man directly into his arms.

Bai Junluo, startled by the man’s abrupt movement, instinctively tried to struggle free. But when the crisp, elegant, woody fragrance of the man reached his nose, he froze.

This broad, warm embrace felt so familiar.

‘It’s him!’

Bai Junluo suddenly raised his head. When his eyes fell on the man’s familiar face, a dazzling smile instantly spread across his delicate and fair features.

“Bo…”

He wanted to call out the man’s name in joy, but his throat throbbed with unusual pain, silencing him before he could utter another word.

Bo Sijue held the young man tightly, as though he wanted to fuse him into his very being.

‘Is this real? Did I truly find him? Could this be a mere illusion?’

Gently, Bo Sijue pulled the boy away from his embrace, lowering his head to examine him closely. As he took in the sight of him, the panic in his heart dissipated.

‘It’s real. It’s all real.’

Bo Sijue reached out to caress the young man’s haggard face. His usually cold and reserved expression softened with distress, yet the corners of his lips curved upward in unrestrained happiness.

Without another thought, he clasped the back of Bai Junluo’s head, leaned down, and kissed his enticingly red lips.
