Chapter 29: The Path to Happiness(2)
Zola had been under stress for the last few years. The reason?
This little bastard, the son of a prostitute, how dare he destroy all my work and my luxurious life!
The reason was Leon. Who knew that the child of the mistress would become so annoying? At first, she wanted to use him to make money, but now that was impossible. He achieved what he shouldn't have — just a useless baron, when he should have been the son of another father, not Barcus. Yes, she cheated on him. She would never have allowed Barcus to impregnate her instead of him. She found a handsome Viscount, from whom she had children. She wanted to drain all the money from the Bartforts, then leave Barcus and go to this Viscount. Usually, divorce is a complicated process, but she could afford it. But now she could not only not empty Barcus' wallet, getting just a small amount of money that barely suffices, but also she couldn't break the marriage contract without consequences. And all because of Leon.
"I'll kill them, damn it!" she shouted, biting her nails, but she calmed down, taking the letter that was next to her. It was a letter from the Viscount asking to meet her, which pleased her.
After quickly gathering herself, she headed toward their meeting.
Watching all of this in her invisible mode was Cleare.
"Interesting," she said, analyzing the letters. There were many of them, all from the Viscount. Almost all of these letters proved Zola's infidelity.
"Interesting," she said, after which a robot flew into the room through the window, grabbed all the letters, and flew away.

At that moment, Zola reached her destination — the elite hotel. Upon entering, she headed to the room where the Viscount was staying.
When she saw him, the change in her behavior was immediately noticeable. While with Barcus, she had always tried to belittle him, with this man she was excessively submissive. They started a social conversation on various topics, talking for quite a while — about two hours — before they reached the main topic.
"You know, what surprises me?" the Viscount asked.
"Hmm? What exactly, darling?" she asked with interest.
"You've been with Barcus for so many years, and yet you don't have any real children with him, while those he considers yours are actually mine."
Hearing this, she smirked but began speaking with disdain:
"How could I even allow that animal to touch me, let alone... I hate everything related to him," she said, washing it down with tea. "But you, you were worthy," she said.
"Is that so?" said the Viscount, smiling.
At that moment, a knock was heard at the door. The Viscount was too lazy to open it, so he simply yelled,
"Who's there?"
Then, a rather young voice came through the door, which sounded familiar to Zola.
"I'm from room service. I have a pizza for the missus," said the voice, pausing, after which...
Zola and the Viscount looked at the door in surprise, which was broken down by an employee. No, more precisely, it was Leon, wearing sunglasses, who was showing the middle finger with a demonic smile.
"For the missus, the whore!" Leon shouted in a satisfied voice.
And behind him appeared Barcus with a relieved expression on his face.
Seeing him, Zola, ignoring Leon's antics, looked at Barcus and began to sweat, her body trembling.
"B... Barcus!" she stammered.
