Minecraft X Genshin Impact: The Godly Catalyst Of Teyvat

Chapter 2: Chapter 1: My Double-Crossing Door Leads to the MC and genshin World

"Finally... I've had enough of this!"

In a small wooden cabin, starkly out of place with its surroundings, Kanzaki Yuzuki stumbled out of a glowing portal.

His face was smudged with dirt, his clothes were tattered, and he looked more like an unlucky adventurer who had been mugged by a gang of Hilichurls.

With a groan, Kanzaki pushed a pile of wooden blocks outside the door. He stared at the towering heap of lumber with mixed feelings.

A year ago, Kanzaki had been dragged into this chaotic world after completing the Ragged Records of Rime, The Byakuyakoku Collection, eight Archon quests, and fourteen character storylines.

He had crossed into Teyvat — specifically, the Chasm.

Kanzaki only realized this when he spotted a certain purple-haired swordswoman angrily slicing a Thunder Slime in half, rendering it immune to her Electro damage.

As for his system...

Can you even call yourself a proper transmigrator without one?

Sure enough, his system activated the moment he arrived.

But if he had a system, why was he still living like a miserable wreck?

Well... that's a story in itself.

"Let's just get this over with..."

Kanzaki trudged to a nearby sink, splashing water on his face. It was yet another day he'd barely escaped death.

[Ding! Counting completed. Wood obtained. Achievement unlocked.]

[Novice mission complete. System officially bound. Rewards: Enhanced physique (Steve's Strength), the sword Enma, and an AK-47.]

[Ding! Next achievement unlocked: Monster Hunter — Defeat 100 monsters.]

Kanzaki wiped his face, letting out a dry chuckle. He barely spared his rewards a glance, muttering with frustration:

"Figures... another hundred times harder than expected."

That was the curse of his so-called MC System — the ability that let Kanzaki cross between Teyvat and a bizarre world filled with cubic blocks (Minecraft)

And as a bonus? He could bring people across worlds with him.

Not that he'd ever considered doing so — at least, not until he was strong enough to protect his own secrets.

Sure, Genshin Impact may be rated 12+, but Kanzaki knew better than to think Teyvat was some fairytale playground.

This was no peaceful world where travelers greeted each other with smiles and kind words.

In a land of flesh and blood, darkness and violence lurked just beneath the surface.

Kanzaki had seen enough to know that Hilichurls, Treasure Hoarders, and even Abyss Mages had no qualms about killing.

That's why he'd spent the past year holed up in the Chasm.

Better safe than sorry.

Kanzaki had mastered the art of laying low — the ultimate survival strategy.

The Chasm was crawling with dangers — black mud, Abyss creatures, rogue Treasure Hoarders, and countless Hilichurl camps.

But it was also Liyue's most valuable mining site — connected to Sumeru — and heavily guarded by the Qianyan Army.

While Liyue Port enjoyed peace under the watchful eye of the Millelith, the Chasm remained a chaotic, unpredictable zone.

Still, Kanzaki considered it safer than heading to Inazuma or dealing with the Fatui in Snezhnaya.

The Qianyan Army patrolled the area constantly, and even the Liyue Qixing reinforced the region's seals now and then.

With so much security, Kanzaki figured the Chasm was the best place to lay low.

For the past year, he'd done little more than chop wood and avoid trouble.

Of course, cutting wood in that world wasn't as easy as it sounded.

One block of solid wood — a cubic meter in size — weighed hundreds of kilograms. Moving even a single one felt like hauling a boulder.

And in between dragging lumber, Kanzaki had to fend off zombies and suicidal Creepers.

In the game, a wooden sword could deal with a zombie easily — but in reality? That flimsy thing might as well be a toothpick.

Not to mention... Kanzaki couldn't even craft one.

Why?

Because crafting a wooden sword required a crafting table.

And making a crafting table required four wood blocks — each weighing several tons.

He didn't have a Vision, so how was he supposed to lift that much?

In the end, Kanzaki resorted to pushing the blocks, one by one...

But after countless struggles, he'd finally completed the novice achievement.

"At least now that I've got Steve's physique, I can actually defend myself…"

Testing his newfound strength, Kanzaki clenched his fist and struck the ground.

A thunderous boom echoed through the air. The earth split beneath him, dust billowing as a massive crater — several hundred meters wide — scarred the land.

Kanzaki stood up, patting dust off his clothes.

His home? Gone.

But at least the pile of wood now floated mid-air — classic Minecraft physics in action.

"Maybe if I keep mining, I can build my own grand sanctuary someday…"

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Steve's strength was as ridiculous as he'd expected. After all, Steve could carry nine full stacks of bedrock — and still have room for 27 more stacks in his backpack.

But Kanzaki knew better than to get cocky.

Strength alone didn't guarantee survival — not in Teyvat.

There were countless ways to die here — drowning, burning, getting frozen alive…

This was a world ruled by elemental power.

For now, brute strength wouldn't be enough.

Still, his other rewards had their perks.

The sword Enma was a legendary blade — one of the strongest katana ever forged. Its two powerful techniques, Dimensional Slash and Phantom Sword, gave Kanzaki a deadly edge in battle.

Not to mention... drawing the sword let him fly.

As for the AK-47?

"An absolute scam."

Kanzaki grimaced at the dark metal firearm.

The gun was powerful — terrifyingly so — but the problem was…

"Where the hell am I supposed to find bullets?"

Apart from three magazines — 90 rounds in total — the rifle was useless without ammo.

And without unlocking the Thermal Weapon Module, there was no way to craft more.

"MC logic strikes again…" Kanzaki muttered bitterly.

Still, the AK was a last resort — something to pull out if things got desperate.

For now... maybe it was time to find some backup.

Lost in thought, Kanzaki failed to notice a pair of feline eyes watching from above.

"Kanzaki!"

The sharp voice startled him. He looked up just as a flash of lightning streaked down — and Keqing appeared beside him.

Her delicate face lit up with excitement.

"Kanzaki, that crater... you did that?"

Kanzaki laughed awkwardly. "Heh... lucky break, I guess."

"Unbelievable!" Keqing's eyes shone with admiration. "I knew you had it in you! This must be the Geo Vision's power! Does this mean the Geo Archon approves of your ideals? Amazing!"

"Geo Vision?" Kanzaki muttered, scratching his head.

Can an outsider even get a Vision?

"What's wrong?" Keqing tilted her head. "Are you worried about controlling your new power?"

With a confident smile, she patted his shoulder.

"Don't worry! Even though I wield Electro, I know some powerful Geo users. Come back to Liyue Port with me — I'll introduce you!"

"Actually, I—"

"Wait… don't tell me it's not a Geo Vision?"

Her smile faltered. "But… what else could create such destruction?"

Kanzaki hesitated. After a moment's thought, he raised the AK-47.

"...It's the Pyro Vision."
