MHA : Rabbit & Spider

Chapter 6: MHA : Chapter 6 : Cell Mates III

Oh, he was definitely gonna love them by the time they were done with UA.

Rumi would absolutely make sure of that.

...

"So what, are you gonna act like our dad now? Watching over us and stuff? You don't look like you want this to happen, scarf man." Peter asked, rightfully skeptical about this entire situation.

Should Rumi be taking this more seriously?

Nah.

Peter seemed to be doing that for the both of them, anyway!

The man in front of them glared at the two once again, a look of pure and utter annoyance and displeasure on his tired face.

"I don't like either of you. Tell me if you accept or not so I don't have to deal with you any longer than I have to." He grumbled, eyebrow twitching in frustration.

Rumi couldn't help but grin.

This was gonna be incredibly fun!

She shot up out of her chair and put an arm around the boy next to her, pulling him up as well. A shining and borderline crazy grin plastered on her face.

"We accept, scarf man!" She exclaimed, Peter gained a look of confusion.

"We do?" The boy asked, eyebrow raised at the girl.

"We sure do!" Her grin only growing larger by the second.

The man nodded at them, stood up, and left while mumbling something about the whole situation being 'Fucking unbelievable' but Rumi was sure he didn't mean that.

He gave a bunch of reluctant softy vibe, you know?

A couple of seconds passed before that same cat-headed officer came back, holding what she assumed to be ankle monitors in his hand. She was gonna wear that thing like a trophy!

Right after the man entered, a woman who held a reassemble to her newfound friend entered the room, arms crossed with a stern expression, and oh man did she look mad! Rumi wouldn't want to be in Peter's spot right no-

After the woman came a tall and well-built man with bronze skin, white hair, and rabbit ears angrily twitching. the girl's grin soon dissipated at the sight of her father, Daiki Usagiyama.

He didn't look happy either.

"Shit."

...

Shota Aizawa walked down the halls of the police station, having just gotten done with dealing with the two teenagers who his colleagues wanted to give a second chance to.

Nezu for some reason had always kept an eye on vigilante activity and underage quirk crimes, Aizawa should've guessed it was to get more people in his little experiment of a school. And knowing him, he'd especially put them in his class either out of necessity or only for his amusement.

That wall of muscle that was the newest addition to their staff started spouting about the ' Incredible heroic potential young Parker had! '. Maybe it was out of guilt for punching the kid in the face.

Even he had to admit, during his encounters with the boy during patrols that he did have a certain amount of talent when it came to heroics. He had even connected the dots of his uncle's death somehow spurring him on and leading him to partake in vigilantism, an honorable cause but that didn't make up for what he lacked.

Incredibly reckless, causing a decent amount of property damage wherever he went, at least he was aware of this fact so mostly operated in secluded area where damage could be ignored. Doesn't take situations as seriously as he should, recordings of him in action showed that he liked to talk instead of focusing on fighting.

And don't even get him started Usagiyama.

The girl could be described as a public menace at times.

Somehow more reckless than Parker and lacking the self-awareness to try and keep damages to a minimum. Even so, an incredible fighter nonetheless but lacked that heroic attitude.

If he had to be forced to deal with them for 3 years, he might as well make them into respectable heroes while he was at it.

* VRRR… VRRR-*

The man's phone rang, he pulled it out of his pocket and groaned at the caller ID.

Nezu.

"Aizawa speaking." He grumbled, finally exiting the station and entering his car.

"Aizawa, hello! I was calling to see how those two took my offer!" A cheery voice came on from the other end, it could be described as slightly unhinged by some.

"They accepted, but let it be known that I do not agree to this in the slightest. And if they are proven to not be worth the effort, I will expel them at once." He was driving down the road now. The sun having long set behind the horizon, the streets of the city shining from street lamps.

"Why, I expect nothing less! Sadly, they are part of my newest scheme, and you know they always succeed! I am sure you will warm up to them soon enough!" The voice laughed, Aizawa could hear clanking china in the background.

"I highly doubt it."

The man/animal laughed once again, the sound sent a chill down the hero's spine. To this day he doubted how that rat was allowed anywhere near children.

Or near anyone, for that matter.

"Oh, don't be like that Aizawa! Surely you have some business to attend to, so I shall leave you be. I look forward to how you handle the two of them!"

And with that, the chimera hung up, leaving Aizawa in the silence of his car.

That rat did get one thing rights though.

He did have business to attend to.

The hero drove for nearly 20 minutes, before coming to a stop in front of rusted steel gates. The words 'Mustufau General Cemetery: Where we come to say goodbye.' engraved on a metal plaque.

He must've read that sign a million times by now.

Truth is, today was a special day for Shota Aizawa. For some reason, that Parker kid's attitude and carefree nature when it came to heroics reminded him of someone from his past.

Someone who drove him to be a hero to this day.

The crunching of leaves and dried up grass filled the quiet night air, there wasn't a soul in sight. He was thankful for the privacy.

Aizawa wasn't keen on showing vulnerability to others.

A lone tombstone stood among the endless rows of memorials, it was much cleaner than the ones around it by a good amount.

It only read one message, the words having faded over the years

_______

Oboro Shirakumo

Loud Cloud

Beloved friend and hero, taken in the line of duty

_______

Minutes passed, the graveyard being filled with nothing but silence and the ambient sounds of the city. One lone hand rested upon the headstone until it was taken back once more.

It had been a while since his last visit, after all.

"Goodbye, Oboro. See you soon." Said the man to no one in particular, before walking away and disappearing into the April night.
