MHA Dungeon Master

Chapter 3: Invitation

I walked out of the room while asking the visitor, "Who's there?" My voice sounded curious, hoping for a response.

"It's me," replied the familiar voice. A voice full of warmth and always bringing a sense of security in my life after reincarnation.

Hearing this familiar voice, I finally knew who was coming, Ryuko-nee. She often came to visit after school to make sure I was alright.

I opened the door and invited Ryuko-nee in. With a warm smile, she stepped inside and walked to the sofa in the living room to sit down. She looked comfortable and relaxed, as if this house was her second home.

"Himaru-kun, haven't your parents come back yet?" Ryuko-nee asked me with a caring tone.

"Not yet," I replied briefly.

"If that's the case, you must be lonely at home alone?" Ryuko-nee asked while smiling, trying to tease me.

"Not really. Even though it's a bit quiet at home, I can still enjoy the peace and tranquility," I said honestly.

The quiet atmosphere when no one is home doesn't bother me. In fact, I somewhat enjoy this kind of situation because, honestly, in my previous life, I was a bit of an introvert.

"Kawaii kunai, Himaru-kun..." Suddenly, Ryuko-nee came over and gently pinched both of my cheeks.

Without waiting for my response, she said, "It's hard to understand why you can't act cute even though you're still very young like other kids. Why do you behave like an adult?" Her tone was half-joking, half-serious.

I broke free from her pinch and responded, "This is just my nature. Besides, if I behaved like other kids, I doubt you'd be so close to me." I tried to explain rationally.

"Why, are you aiming for my older sister and want to marry me when you grow up, so you're acting cool like that? Come on... just admit it..." Ryuko-nee teased me while messing up my hair and hugging me like a doll.

"It's not like that... just wait till I grow up; I'll pay back this humiliation twice!" I grumbled.

I might look small now with a tiny body and a naive face, but my soul holds the memories and experiences of an adult man. This situation makes me feel a bit embarrassed. Being hugged like a doll by a beautiful woman like her is quite strange for me. However, I tried to enjoy this moment, thinking that maybe this is one of God's ways to give me joy in my second life.

Luckily, my very young age has its own advantages. My little brother down below didn't react to this incident because my age is indeed very young. Even so, I still have to be careful not to cause unwanted reactions from my small body.

"Ryuko-nee, let's play a game!" I exclaimed enthusiastically, hoping to free myself from Ryuko-nee's warm but embarrassing hug. I invited her to play a console game together in the living room.

"What game?" Ryuko-nee replied with curiosity. When she usually visits my house to check on me, she always responds to my requests with joy.

"Heroes All Stars Remake!" I replied excitedly, hoping the game would catch her interest. I knew this game was a favorite for many people, including myself.

"Alright, but the loser has to get flour on their face!" Ryuko-nee responded to my request with a mischievous smile, proposing a bet to make the game more exciting and tense.

After that, Ryuko-nee turned on the console and connected it to the TV deftly. Meanwhile, I rushed to the kitchen to get the flour that would be used as punishment for the loser. We both couldn't wait to start the match.

Heroes All Stars Remake is a fighting game with Tekken-like gameplay but features characters from many famous Heroes in this world. Each battle always offers different combos and strategies, making the game very interesting and addictive.

Then, the epic battle between Ryuko and Himaru began in front of the TV screen. We both were very focused and didn't want to lose to each other. Laughter and shouts of joy filled the room as we battled with strategies and combos.

Two hours passed quickly, full of tension and excitement. We both enjoyed every second of the match.

"Yeahh... I won! Let me smear your face with flour, Ryuko-nee!" I exclaimed with victory.

I was very happy with my win this time because I controlled Endeavor to defeat All Might controlled by Ryuko-nee. This victory felt very satisfying and fulfilling.

But just then, I heard the voices of a man and a woman entering the house. The voices were very familiar and always full of love in my ears.

"Tadaima," a voice was heard from the entrance, indicating their return.

"Okaeri, Kaa-san, Tou-san!" I responded with enthusiasm, happy to see them back.

"Okaerinasai, Auntie Hikaru, Uncle Kazuma!" Ryuko-nee also responded to my parents' greeting warmly.

But after a moment of silence, my mother laughed seeing my face and Ryuko-nee's covered in white flour. Her cheerful laugh made the atmosphere more lively and made me feel a bit embarrassed. But seeing her reaction, I felt more at ease with our funny state.

"Oh my, what have you two been up to? Why are your faces covered in flour?" My mother asked with a tone of surprise but warmth. Her question made us feel a bit embarrassed by our childish antics that ended in a little chaos.

We both could only remain silent hearing my mother's question, feeling embarrassed by our childish behavior. We exchanged glances while trying to find a way to explain the situation.

After some explanations, my mother finally understood what had happened to us. Our explanations accompanied by laughter and jokes made the atmosphere warmer and more familiar.

"You two haven't had dinner yet, have you? Now stop your game, wash your faces, and come to the dining table to eat together!" My mother said firmly but full of love, reminding us not to forget dinner.

"This..." (Ryuko-nee tried to refuse politely, feeling bad for being a bother.)

"Don't hesitate. This is also because I want to thank you for taking care of Himaru," my mother interrupted quickly, not giving Ryuko-nee a chance to refuse further. She truly appreciated Ryuko-nee's care for me.

Before Ryuko-nee finished her refusal, my mother interrupted quickly, emphasizing the importance of Ryuko-nee's presence in taking care of and accompanying Himaru.

The four of us finally had dinner with a warm and familiar atmosphere. Conversations and laughter filled our dining table.

By the way, we could have dinner right away not because my parents bought food from outside, but because my parents actually run a small restaurant.

So they usually cook food at the restaurant so they don't have to cook again when they get home. This habit allowed us to enjoy different restaurant dishes at home every day.

After finishing a warm and laughter-filled dinner, Ryuko-nee reached into her jacket pocket and took out three tickets. The tickets looked very special and caught all of our attention.

"Uncle, Aunt, Himaru, this Sunday can you come to my school to watch the Yuuei Sports Festival?" Ryuko-nee asked hopefully. Her eyes sparkled, showing how important the event was to her.

After a moment of silence, my mother was the first to respond with a tone full of curiosity.

"How much are these tickets? Let us pay for them," my mother said politely, showing her sense of responsibility. She didn't want to trouble Ryuko-nee.

"No need to pay for them. These are my gifts to you," Ryuko-nee replied gently but confidently. She wanted us to come without feeling burdened.

"No, we can't accept these just like that. At least let us pay for a part," my mother insisted, though she was also grateful for Ryuko-nee's attention.

After my mother and Ryuko-nee dialogued for a while, my mother finally agreed not to pay for the tickets. However, in return, Ryuko-nee had to visit our house often so she could have dinner with us. This agreement made everyone happy.

After that, Ryuko-nee quickly said goodbye and returned to her house next door to avoid getting further entangled in this matter. She smiled broadly, feeling relieved and happy because everything went smoothly.
