Chapter 2: School Days
The blonde woman is named Tatsuma Yumeko. She is my neighbor who is always friendly and pleasant. In addition, she is known as someone who cares deeply for the children in the neighborhood. Every time I see her, she always looks graceful and kind.
Seeing me, she spoke with her characteristic gentle smile, "Himaru-kun, are you looking for Ryuko-chan?" Her voice was full of warmth and always made people feel at ease.
I answered politely, "Yes, I wanted to ask if Ryuko-nee can go to school together?"
"I can go with you now."
Without waiting for the middle-aged woman to respond to my question, a voice that was somewhat cold but friendly was heard from a young woman about fifteen years old who had just come out of the house.
The young woman had short blonde hair that looked neat and a pretty face similar to the middle-aged woman next to her. The young woman had a cold pretty face while the middle-aged woman had a gentle pretty face. Standing side by side, they looked like a pair of sisters.
The young blonde woman is named Tatsuma Ryuko. She is a teenager with a cold personality towards strangers but friendly towards those she knows. With her short blonde hair and pretty face that exudes confidence, Ryuko has an alluring appearance.
After a few friendly and humorous conversations, Ryuko-nee bid her mother farewell with a warm smile. Then, she walked while holding my hand, showing her genuine affection. We both enjoyed the moment, sharing stories and laughter along the way.
As we walked, I couldn't hold back my curiosity and asked her, "How does it feel to study at Yuuei, Ryuko-nee?" My voice was full of curiosity and admiration for the famous school.
With a bright smile, she replied, "It's very enjoyable. There are many classmates with strong and unique quirks. Every day there are always new challenges that make me more enthusiastic." Her words made me even more eager to know more about the school.
Our journey to school passed quickly, filled with exciting conversations about life at Yuuei High School. Ryuko-nee shared various interesting experiences and valuable lessons she gained at the school. I felt very inspired and motivated listening to her stories.
I arrived at school, feeling grateful to have walked with Ryuko-nee. However, Ryuko-nee's journey wasn't over yet because she still had to take the tram to get to Yuuei. We parted ways at the school gate, hoping to meet again later.
Fortunately, the direction of her tram station was the same as my school route, so every morning I could walk with Ryuko-nee. These moments were always the part I looked forward to the most every day, providing motivation to carry out school activities.
Upon arriving at school, I went straight to the locker to change shoes into uwabaki, comfortable indoor shoes. After that, without wasting any time, I headed to the classroom with new hopes and enthusiasm.
My seat was in the middle of the class, a strategic position different from most novel protagonists who usually sit by the window. From this position, I could easily see the blackboard and interact with my classmates.
The classroom was still quite empty when I arrived, with only two girls already sitting at their desks. They seemed engrossed in a conversation while waiting for class to begin. I greeted them warmly, "Good morning, Mirai-chan, Tamako-chan!"
With warm smiles, they responded to my greeting simultaneously, "Good morning, Himaru-kun!" Their voices were filled with warmth, making the morning atmosphere even more cheerful.
It seemed my desk mate hadn't arrived yet, so I decided to sit at my desk alone. I took out a comic book that didn't exist in my previous world from my bag and began reading it with great enthusiasm.
Perhaps you're wondering why I'm not reading a textbook. The simple answer is, because I have memories from my previous life as an adult, elementary school lessons are easy for me. I can master them without much difficulty.
Time passed quickly as I got engrossed in the comic book's story. When I had almost finished a third of the book, the classroom was already bustling with the arrival of my classmates. I saw my desk mate appearing at the classroom door.
She was a girl with a hairstyle similar to No.18 from Dragon Ball, but with striking red hair. Her appearance always caught attention with its strong and unique impression. But she was actually quite shy.
Her face was somewhat round, typical of children her age, but it was clear that when she grew up, she would become a very beautiful woman. Her charm was already starting to show now.
After she sat beside me, I greeted her enthusiastically, "Good morning, Emilia-chan!"
She replied a bit shyly, "Good morning, Himaru-kun." Her voice was soft and somewhat faint, but I was used to it.
Like most people in this world, Emilia had also awakened her Quirk. Her parents named her Quirk [Red Energy], an impressive ability.
This Quirk allowed her to make small objects float or fly in the air. This ability was very useful in various situations, and if developed well, it would definitely become a very powerful Quirk.
I still wanted to continue the conversation with Emilia, but the school bell rang loudly, signaling the start of the class. The bell's sound reminded me that the time for talking was over, and we had to start the lesson immediately.
It didn't take long for the teacher to enter the classroom after the bell rang. I quickly stopped our conversation and swiftly took out my stationery from my bag. The preparation for the lesson began, and the classroom atmosphere became more serious.
Time passed quickly during the lesson, and unfortunately, nothing interesting happened. The teacher's long and detailed explanations sometimes felt rather boring to me, even though I tried to stay focused and listen attentively.
The school bell rang, signaling the end of another boring day as an elementary school student without any interesting incidents. I should be grateful there were no incidents, considering this world was full of villains roaming around and could endanger us at any time.
I said goodbye to Emilia and some of my classmates warmly. We chatted briefly before finally parting ways. After that, I walked home alone, enjoying the journey while reflecting on the various things that happened today.
"Tadaima!" I shouted as I entered the house.
However, no one responded to my return, and I already knew my parents were still not back from work. The house felt quiet, only the sound of my footsteps echoing in the room. But I was used to it, as my parents usually came home quite late.
After arriving home, I immediately put my bag in the room, then turned on the PC to surf the internet. This activity was always a fun entertainment after a day at school.
While surfing the internet, I saw today's top news was about All Might successfully capturing a villain with a giant darkness Quirk. This news immediately caught my attention because All Might was the most famous hero at the moment and for a long time according to the memories of my previous life.
Amidst my busy internet browsing, the doorbell suddenly rang. The sound of the bell startled me and made me curious about who had come.
