Chapter 95: : The Knight of Reversal
📘 Chapter 95
🌌 Scene 1: Krono Unleashed
Zeron stood alone in the crypt-like chamber beneath the ruins, the ghost of Zarneth fading into data particles around him. The words on the wall still glowed faint violet: "You are the loop. Break it."
As the final glyph faded, a pulse erupted from his chest.
Mythos Vortan lit up—not like before, not in flickers, but in a steady hum, vibrating with true power.
"Zeron?" Nira asked, stepping back, eyes wide. "Your Krono... it's stabilizing."
"No," he said quietly. "It's remembering."
The chamber walls cracked. Zeron felt everything—pain, loss, rage, and love—flood back into him as his Krono spiraled from dull grey to indigo, and then to the deepest, darkest shade of Purple anyone had ever seen.
Nira stumbled to her knees. "That's... the Absolute Hue. The original Violet."
💽 Scene 2: The Beta Protocol's Mutation
In the ruins back home, Zake awoke, gasping.
His eyes glowed with binary rings. The Beta Protocol had fused into his consciousness permanently.
He could now see time-code threads of everything—living beings, buildings, even sound. He rewound the scene around him and watched himself being knocked out... and something else.
A hand. Alien, cloaked in Krono energy, dragging him.
"You weren't alone," he whispered. "Someone brought me here."
The Protocol pulsed.
"He walks. He watches. He wants the Core."
Zake blinked. "Who?"
The ground answered with a growing rumble.
"The Knight of Reversal."
🧬 Scene 3: Ira's Temptation
In the mirrored chamber, Ira stood alone, the Mirror Blade humming in her hands.
"This blade can sever what you were," whispered the Grand Mirror. "And reshape you."
Images of Zeron danced in the blade's surface. His kindness. His hesitation. His buried love for her.
"One cut, and he'll forget her."
Ira tightened her grip.
"Would he love me then?" she asked softly.
But before the blade touched the mirror, it cracked slightly.
"He already does," a faint voice whispered.
She turned sharply. No one was there.
🛰️ Scene 4: Zui's Mother's Dome
Zui hovered above the overgrown ruins of her mother's last known lab—far from the guild cities, in the Dead Tundra Zone.
Inside, the temperature dropped to sub-zero. Every surface was lined with frost—except one console, still active.
She placed her hand on the DNA pad. It accepted her instantly.
"Welcome, Bloomchild," said the AI. "Dr. Zephyra's daughter."
The screen lit up with her mother's last research:
Project: AETHER SEEDPurpose: Regenerate Planetary CoresStatus: INCOMPLETEWarning: "Beware of the Seed Thief."
Zui blinked. "Seed... Thief?"
Suddenly, a robotic voice from behind said:
"That would be me."
She turned to find a figure in a cracked mecha-suit, holding a glowing capsule.
⚔️ Scene 5: Duel in the Deadzone
Meanwhile, Zeron and Nira reached the edge of a canyon known as The Divide—the location of the first mecha war recorded in the system's history.
Waiting for them was Krael, one of the six Warlords of the Outer Realms—a being partially human, partially glitch.
"You are the one from the stories," Krael said, unsheathing his blade made of fragmented timelines. "The Reincarnated Fuse."
"I'm just a guy trying to protect my siblings," Zeron said.
"Then protect them from this."
Krael struck. Reality shattered mid-swing.
But Zeron's Purple Krono pulsed, and time snapped back—rewinding the attack by 4 seconds.
"That's... not possible," Krael growled.
Zeron's eyes glowed like twin stars.
"I don't follow your rules anymore."
They clashed.
Time warped. Krono screamed. The air bled purple as the battle distorted space itself.
When it ended, Krael fell to his knees.
"The Knight... of Reversal... lives again."
Zeron turned, breathing hard. "Then I'll fix what he couldn't."
🧠 Interlude: The Mindweaver Council
Across the stars, deep within the Synaptic Nexus, a council of energy beings known as the Mindweavers stirred.
"He's awakened," one said.
"Too soon," another replied. "The Core Clock hasn't tilted yet."
"The Architect Protocol is merging timelines again."
"We may have to intervene."
One Mindweaver—a shadow of a woman—stared directly at the viewing stream.
"He's not Zarneth. He's something far worse."
