Metaverse of Mechas

Chapter 93: : The Aeonkind Warbringer

📘 Chapter 93

🌌 Scene 1: Parallel Earth – Forbidden Krono

Zeron stumbled through the other side of the Rift—his body tense, Mythos Vortan glitching violently. The sky was dimmer here, clouds heavy with static, and the air vibrated as if rejecting his very presence.

He was in a world eerily like his own… but twisted.

There were no flying Mechas.

No floating cities.

No Guild banners in the sky.

Instead, he saw ruins—skyscrapers torn in half, streets overrun with mechanical vegetation, and… people.

But they didn't use Krono. In fact, they ran from him.

As Mythos Vortan stepped forward, they screamed.

"It's Krono-borne! Hide! Hide!"

Zeron blinked. "Krono-borne?"

Before he could question it, his system beeped violently.

Krono Signature Detected. Rank: Red. Unknown Hostile Approaching.

A figure bolted from the shattered horizon—a tall warrior riding a jet-black hoverbeast, wielding a spear made from fossilized Krono.

She had no Mecha. Just a suit of cracked armor and glowing red veins across her skin.

"You… brought Krono into this dimension?! What kind of monster are you?"

Zeron raised his hands. "Wait—I'm not your enemy."

Too late.

The woman lunged—and their battle began.

🧪 Scene 2: Zake's Genetic Awakening

Back in the Living Archive ruins, Zake's blood was boiling.

The foreign code that had entered him earlier began reactivating. His skin shimmered with silver particles, and the Archive's walls responded, lighting up in rhythm with his pulse.

Zion—possessed, glitching—charged at him, eyes void of emotion.

Zake had never fought in his life.

But this time, his instinct took over.

He grabbed a tool—an ancient fragment of a Mecha's core—and stabbed it into the wall beside him.

"Override Command: ARCHIVE AURA LINK—ZAKE VORTAN."

The system paused… then accepted it.

Dozens of blueprints and nanowires swirled around him.

His body wasn't just reacting. It was bonding.

A soft voice echoed:

"Welcome, Beta Architect."

"W-What?"

"You are now a sub-core controller of Arkorax."

Suddenly, his body stopped trembling. His eyes glowed faint teal.

Zion froze mid-strike.

"What… are you…?"

"I don't know yet," Zake said, punching forward—and unleashing a surge of blueprint-wrapped energy that blasted Zion through three reinforced walls.

⚙️ Scene 3: Zui's Upgrade

Within the secret dome, Zui sat across from Uncle Rhain. He had laid out her mother's final project—blue data spheres glowing faint blue and violet.

"Your mother called this the 'Aether Bloom.' A way to evolve Mecha interfaces through pure emotion."

Zui touched the core of her Aether Zeal.

It reacted immediately.

Her vision flashed—her mother's face smiling, then fading into particles.

"Don't hold back, my flower. You're stronger than this world ever knew."

Zui gasped. The entire dome flickered—and her Mecha outside, damaged and idle, began glowing.

The Aether Zeal reassembled itself—this time slimmer, sharper, with a floral crest on its back and dual-mode blades blooming from its arms.

"System Update Complete. Aether Zeal Variant: Bloom Form."

"Mom…" Zui whispered. "I'll protect what you died for."

⚔️ Scene 4: Aeonkind Advance

On the frontlines near the Southern Wastes, Mecha units gathered, unsure how to respond.

The Aeonkind Warbringer was not like the other invaders. It didn't speak in words—it screamed in data. Everywhere it walked, Krono-bonded machines malfunctioned, turning on their own pilots.

Even Black-ranked Mechas were falling in seconds.

One captain, Mela Rankov, initiated a suicide burst to slow it down.

It didn't work.

The Warbringer stepped over her remains, eyes locked on the central Guild Core in Helion.

"Anomaly Zeron. You broke the dimensional code. Now... your world will expire."

Then it summoned something new—a twisted Mecha made of scrap memory and bone-code.

The Woe Engine.

The ground itself recoiled at its birth.

🧠 Scene 5: Zeron's Hidden Power Stirs

Zeron clashed with the red-veined warrior for over ten minutes—barely defending. But as her spear struck Mythos Vortan's weakened chest, something unexpected happened.

The core pulsed violet.

So faint… but real.

The woman froze mid-attack. "Wait… is that…?"

Zeron's mind fell into the circuit again—but this time, instead of visions, he heard voices.

"You are not the first. But you might be the last."

"The Purple Krono is not power. It is memory. Memory of everything that was… and what must be again."

The voice faded. Mythos Vortan stabilized.

Zeron opened his eyes.

"I don't want to fight. I came to stop the war."

The warrior lowered her weapon.

"Then help us stop them... before your world suffers like ours."

She looked at the sky above them.

"They're coming next."

🌀 Interlude: Ira's Crimson Choice

Ira stood before the Council of Claris—a group of dimension-stranded generals and survivors, each with technology years beyond what Earth knew.

One offered her a blade.

"With this, you will become our weapon."

"And if I refuse?"

"Your world dies."

Ira's lips curled. "Good."

She grabbed the blade—and the Crimson Guard was reborn.
