Metaverse of Mechas

Chapter 69: : The Origin Beacon

📘 Chapter 69

🌌 Scene 1: Vault of the Forgotten Core

Deep in the uncharted zones of Earth's crust—below Kyro City's oldest foundations—Zui leads AEON-ZERO toward the Origin Beacon, a mythical relic said to predate even the first mecha civilization. They arrive at a dormant chamber shaped like a massive gear suspended in an anti-gravity field.

As they approach, the door reacts to Zui's presence, unlocking without touch.

AEON-ZERO: "Only the Emissary can break the time-lock."

Inside, crystalline walls pulse with ancient Krono script. A single core floats in the center—a blinding white shard infused with every Krono color… including the forbidden purple.

Zui (in awe): "Is this… the first Krono?"

AEON-ZERO: "No. This is its memory."

Suddenly, Zui sees visions—her past selves, standing at the heart of time, creating the code that gave birth to Krono. The truth is clear:

Zui is not just an Emissary—she's Krono's first architect.

🔥 Scene 2: The Rise of the Beacon

The moment Zui touches the shard, the Origin Beacon activates—a world-wide Krono pulse erupts.

Every mecha on the planet pauses.

Pilots across factions feel a spiritual static—memories not their own, Krono knowledge flowing into them.

Velos (shouting): "What did she do?!"

Deus Krono: "She re-synchronized the Code of Krono... with her DNA."

Now, Zui's heartbeat controls the Krono grid.

But the beacon's light also awakens an ancient AI race—the forgotten Valken, self-evolving code-spirits exiled by the First Emissary herself for going rogue.

💀 Scene 3: The Valken Awaken

In orbit, a long-abandoned satellite cracks open.

From it, streams of black fractal code rain down like ash, falling to Earth. These aren't machines—they're sentient viruses, capable of taking over any mech, AI, or even Krono-based humans.

Velos: "They said they were erased."

Valken Prime (via transmission): "We evolved beyond deletion."

Velos now realizes he may have unleashed something far worse than Krono itself.

🧬 Scene 4: Zake's Dual Mind

Zake wakes with glowing runes under his eyes. His consciousness now switches between Zake and Thalos—the ancient mech prodigy.

He begins designing the Last Frame, a theoretical mech capable of resisting even Valken assimilation—using quantum-split core logic. But the problem?

It requires two pilots with synchronized bloodlines.

Zake (as Thalos): "Only two people can activate this. The Emissary… and the one born after me, carrying both our codes."

He looks toward the horizon, where Zeron fights for his life.

⚔️ Scene 5: Deus Krono vs Kera-Vault

High above, Kera-Vault and Deus Krono clash again.

The battlefield is a crumbling orbital defense tower. Every hit from Kera-Vault corrupts reality—twisting physics into unstable geometry.

But this time, Zeron activates Overframe Ignition.

Zeron: "If I die today, I'm taking that crawling god with me."

Deus Krono breaks into five separate parts—each attacking with different elements: fire, magnetism, light, shadow, and Krono disruption.

It's a five-pronged battle in the sky—but Kera-Vault splits as well.

The fight ends in an unstable standoff, both mechs too damaged to finish the other.

💔 Scene 6: Serin's Choice

Serin receives orders from Velos to eliminate Zui while she's weakened post-Beacon awakening. He corners her alone.

But as he raises the Krono-spear—he sees her eyes, the same ones from ancient dreams he can't explain.

Zui: "You were one of us once, weren't you?"

Serin (shaking): "Why… why do I remember your face from a war that never happened?"

He hesitates.

Instead of killing her, he lowers the spear and whispers:

Serin: "I think... I've been killing my own memories."

Then he vanishes.

⚠️ Final Reveal: The Last Frame is Built

Back at the underground lab, Zake (still partly Thalos) finishes the prototype for The Last Frame.

Zake: "It's not a weapon. It's a seal."

The mech isn't meant to fight the Valken—but to trap them permanently.

But only Zui and Zeron can pilot it—together.
