"BANNER!"

Dr. Banner, now transformed into the Hulk, leapt into the air. He reached out and grabbed two Hydra robots that were patrolling in the sky, slamming them together with immense force, instantly destroying them.

Thanks to Odin's divine power, Banner and the Hulk's consciousnesses had completely merged. He could now freely switch between Hulk and Banner.

So, the current Hulk possessed the body of the Hulk but the mind of Banner. However, compared to the Hulk's usual form in the movies, this merged body was slightly larger, and its strength was not significantly diminished.

The only issue was that, unlike Hulk, Banner had a harder time truly getting angry. He couldn't easily tap into the raw power Hulk could by letting anger fuel him into greater strength.

That didn't mean it was impossible, though. For instance, if something were to happen to his beloved Betty, his anger would certainly spike, unleashing his full potential.

But, on a normal day, it wasn't easy.

As soon as the Hulk appeared, the patrol robots began surrounding him from both the sky and the ground. Various energy weapons were unleashed mercilessly toward him.

The Hulk crossed his arms in front of his face, using his body to absorb the damage from the energy weapons.

At that moment, a shield swooped through the air, appearing from behind the Hulk. It spun like a razor-sharp blade, slicing through the front-line robots and instantly severing the energy weapons they had extended.

It was Captain America's shield attack.

Hiding behind the Hulk, Wolverine wasn't idle either. He quickly crouched and dashed toward the Hydra robots coming from the ground. His claws flashed as he ruthlessly decapitated the robots with swift strikes.

An ear-piercing alarm blared throughout the Three Wings Building as more Hydra soldiers rushed to respond, quickly joining forces with the Hydra robots to mount a defense. Energy weapons and various high-tech Hydra weapons were deployed to prevent the trio from advancing toward the building.

"It's impossible for there to only be three of them. There must be more!"

In the director's office of the Three Wings Building, Pierce watched the live feed of Captain America, the Hulk, and Wolverine on the monitor. His eyes narrowed instinctively.

After losing contact with Sitwell and Crossbones, Pierce had called in all available Hydra robots and even borrowed several enhanced individuals from Stratt in case things went wrong. He had done this to prevent any counterattack from Coulson and his group, who were likely preparing to strike with members from the Superpower Academy.

Now, only three individuals from the Superpower Academy had appeared. The strongest, Professor X, and Headmaster George were both absent, and there were no signs of Coulson, Black Widow, or Hawkeye—the remaining S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

This was highly unusual to him, and he wasn't about to count on luck.

"Gordon, right? Earlier, you mentioned your team has a person with detection abilities. Could you have him check if any of these individuals are nearby?"

Immediately, Pierce brought up a large display of images on the screen, showing all the members of the Superpower Academy—apart from the three visible on the surveillance—along with the dozen or so S.H.I.E.L.D. agents under Coulson's command. Each of these enhanced individuals had already reported their abilities when they arrived, so Pierce could manage their deployment effectively.

"Collins."

Gordon glanced at a young man standing behind him, who nodded. The young man closed his eyes and began using his ability.

His power was to create a detection field centered around him, allowing him to locate people or objects. He served as a key support member of the team.

"Everyone else is clear, but I've found them. They're here."

After a brief moment, the young man opened his eyes and pointed toward Coulson and the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, giving their current locations.

"Looks like there's definitely something going on. But why hasn't George shown up?"

Pierce wasn't surprised, but a puzzled expression crossed his face.

He could understand why Professor X wasn't there—after all, they had psychic protection devices in place to counter any mental abilities, so Professor X would be useless in this situation.

However, it didn't make sense that George, who could unleash wide-area lightning, hadn't arrived yet. That was something Pierce couldn't figure out.

"Could it be that George hasn't recovered from releasing that large-scale lightning storm?"

Muttering to himself, Pierce thought this theory was plausible. However, he didn't let his guard down. He quickly turned to Gordon and the others and ordered:

"Go and capture all of them—preferably alive."

Just in case, he could use Coulson and the others as hostages. Even if George showed up, he could threaten him with the hostages to prevent him from acting too decisively.

Once Coulson and the others were captured, he would have the enhanced individuals assist the robots in dealing with the trio who were currently wreaking havoc.

As long as the spaceborne aircraft carrier took off, there would be no more concerns.

"Pass the order to activate all the lightning protection devices around the building."

After a moment of thought, Pierce decided to have his subordinates activate the lightning protection system before Gordon and his team disappeared. This was to guard against George's sudden appearance and a potential lightning strike.

"Right, make sure the lightning protection on the spaceborne aircraft carriers is set to the maximum!"

In just ten minutes, the preparations for the three spaceborne aircraft carriers would be completed.

To save time, Pierce had sacrificed some unnecessary steps and focused on getting the aircraft carriers airborne as quickly as possible.

---

"Coulson and his team are no longer in contact. The robots and Hydra soldiers haven't shown any signs of retreating, so it seems Pierce still has some hidden trump cards we don't know about."

Five minutes later, Steve summoned his shield to block an incoming energy blast, then turned to Banner and Logan.

"We'll have to rely on ourselves now. Full speed ahead—let's find those three aircraft carriers!"

"I'll take the lead!"

Banner grabbed the barrel of an energy tank and swung the entire tank as a weapon, smashing through all the robots and Hydra soldiers in his path. The force was so intense that even the toughest foes struggled to hold their ground.

Steve and Logan took the opportunity to accelerate toward the Trident Building.

However, just then, a blind man appeared behind Banner. Before he could react, the man grabbed him and teleported away in an instant.

In front of Steve and Logan, several young men and women appeared, none of them wearing Hydra uniforms.

The girl at the front raised her hand and slapped the air, unleashing a powerful shockwave. Even though Steve and Logan stopped and raised their defenses just in time, they were still forcefully blown backward.

"This is bad!"

After regaining his balance, Steve watched as the strongest tank—Banner—was taken away. The remaining robots and Hydra soldiers, along with those clearly enhanced individuals, stood in their way. Steve knew that completing the mission was going to be much harder now.

The appearance of these enhanced individuals now clearly had something to do with Coulson and his team losing contact. This meant Coulson's group was likely already compromised, and now it was up to him and Logan.

"Should we keep going?"

Logan, whose clothes were now tattered from the attacks, asked Steve.

Steve nodded resolutely:

"We continue. We can't give up until the very last moment!"
