"Why does it feel like I'm looking more and more like him?"

That evening, George stood in front of the mirror in his bedroom, lightly touching his facial features as a trace of doubt crept into his heart.

He had noticed something peculiar—over the past year, as his body matured, the appearance of this avatar of his had begun to resemble his Marvel counterpart more and more.

"Could it be because of the shared constitution and abilities?"

But after thinking it through, he felt that couldn't be the case. After all, his cat and panda forms hadn't grown to resemble his true body.

"Maybe it's just because the cat and panda aren't human," he mused.

"Forget it. It's not important anyway," he concluded.

Looks didn't impact his strength. Even if he eventually ended up looking exactly like his original body, it didn't matter.

Shaking his head, George decided not to dwell on it any further. He lay down and went to sleep peacefully—after all, he had a trip to Paris tomorrow.

---

The next morning, George woke early, had breakfast, and dropped off Peggy at Ollivander's for safekeeping. Then, pulling his suitcase along, he made his way to the Leaky Cauldron.

It turned out Amy lived at the Leaky Cauldron, not as a temporary guest but as a long-term tenant who rented her room by the year.

Because of this yearly arrangement, the owner, Tom, charged her a significantly reduced rate.

Amy lived at the Leaky Cauldron because she couldn't afford her own place. Despite being a former Auror with considerable magical skill, George couldn't understand why she was so destitute.

After greeting Tom, George headed upstairs to the second floor. Finding the room number Amy had given him the day before, he knocked on the door.

"Amy, open up! It's George. It's time to go!"

After knocking for what felt like forever, there was finally some noise inside the room.

About two minutes later, the door slowly opened, revealing a groggy and half-asleep Amy.

"Oh, it's you. Is it already eight? Come in and take a seat—I'll be ready in just a moment," she said, yawning and turning sluggishly back into the room.

George sighed and pulled his suitcase inside.

"Do you always sleep without wearing clothes?"

The room was a mess, with clothes scattered everywhere. George found a chair and sat down, pointing at Amy's bare upper body.

When she had answered the door just moments earlier, she hadn't been wearing anything on top.

"Oh, I drank too much last night, and when I got back, it was too hot, so I just took everything off," Amy replied casually.

Glancing down at her bare torso, she didn't seem the least bit embarrassed. Instead, she grabbed the wand lying on the floor and began casting spells.

First, she used a Reviving Charm to shake off her sleepiness. Then, she cast a Scouring Charm to clean the room and a Summoning Charm to organize her scattered clothes. Along the way, she casually put on a top.

In no time, the messy room was spotless, thanks to her practiced use of magic.

In Amy's eyes, George was just a first-year kid. Considering she was old enough to be his mother, she had no reason to overthink the situation.

Besides, her personality was naturally carefree, and she didn't fuss over such trivial matters.

"I'm going to brush my teeth and wash my face, and then we can leave," Amy said.

"Sure, no rush," George replied with a nod.

Inwardly, however, he thought to himself, Not bad. She's got quite a figure.

At just over thirty, Amy was in her prime. Her skin was fair, and she carried herself with a natural charm that was quite pleasing to the eye.

Once Amy finished getting ready, she grabbed her suitcase and headed downstairs with George. They had a quick breakfast before using Apparition to head straight to the Ministry of Magic.

"Wizard Travel Procedures and the Journey to France"

"Wizards leaving the country need to register and complete the necessary paperwork. We'll go to the Magic Transportation Department on the sixth floor to register at the front desk, and then head to the Portkey Office to take a Portkey directly to the French Ministry of Magic.

Just so you know, the 100 Galleons you're paying only cover the tuition for me teaching you the Apparition Charm. Any other expenses you incur along the way are your responsibility."

"Of course. If your teaching pace meets my expectations, I'll even pay you an extra 20% as a bonus," George replied with a polite smile as he followed Amy to the magical elevators in the main hall.

Hearing this, Amy immediately grabbed George's suitcase from him.

"Don't worry, the pace will absolutely satisfy you.

You're still young; in the future, let the grown-ups handle carrying luggage."

"Thank you very much," George said without hesitation.

He didn't mind spending money. Paying for better service and more attentive instruction was a worthwhile deal in his eyes.

Over the past year, George had occasionally followed Hagrid to learn about magical creatures, gaining significant knowledge of their habits. A quick trip to the Forbidden Forest often yielded valuable materials.

Even without the inheritance left behind by his foster father, George knew he could easily make a fortune by dealing with magical creatures. In this world, he wasn't lacking money.

Realizing how generous George was with his spending, Amy's attitude toward him became even friendlier. To an outsider, it might have looked as though George was her own son.

"Amy, when did you get a son this big?"

The front desk witch at the Magic Transportation Department on the sixth floor couldn't help but look surprised as she watched Amy fussing over George while helping him with the paperwork.

Amy quickly waved her hand in dismissal.

"What son? You know I've never even had a boyfriend. This is just one of my… young clients!"

"A client? Amy, with your skill set, you don't need to run that little shop. Whatever happened in the past is in the past—you need to move forward," the front desk witch said, clearly familiar with Amy and trying to offer her advice.

Amy, however, cut her off with a raised hand.

"Enough about that. Let's just get our paperwork done—there's a line behind us."

"Alright, alright. But do stop by my house sometime for a visit," the front desk witch replied with a helpless nod before efficiently completing their paperwork.

Once the formalities were taken care of, George and Amy headed to the Portkey Office. Along the way, George didn't bother asking Amy about her past. He didn't see the point.

His goal was solely to learn the Apparition Charm from her, not to build a deeper relationship or romance. Understanding her history didn't matter to him, and Amy herself showed no interest in bringing it up either.

"French Ministry of Magic!"

After Amy and George paid the fee, the Portkey Office official pulled out a miniature model of the Eiffel Tower, engraved with the words French Ministry of Magic.

The two of them placed their hands on the tower. Instantly, a strange force wrapped around their bodies and sucked them into a vortex, causing them to vanish on the spot.

In the span of two to three seconds, George found himself in an unfamiliar room. Standing next to him, holding two pieces of luggage, was Amy.

"Not bad—you didn't get dizzy after using a Portkey for the first time," Amy remarked, somewhat impressed as she observed George.

She clearly remembered her first experience with a Portkey—it had left her disoriented for several minutes.

"My constitution is a bit different. So, where do we go next?" George asked, scanning his new surroundings.

His physical condition far surpassed that of an average wizard, making the typical dizziness from a Portkey negligible for him.

That said, the overall experience of traveling via Portkey wasn't exactly pleasant.
