MARVEL: THE ONE ABOVE ALL TIER LIST

Chapter 19: A Date with Susan

Even without touching his face, Thor knew it had been disfigured.

The thought of having his handsome face destroyed—especially in front of countless viewers—ignited his fury. Thor wanted to kill the unconscious Human Torch as quickly as possible.

But as he looked at the barely-breathing torch lying on the ground, his innate kindness finally overcame his rage.

After cutting the live stream, Thor raised his hammer and shouted, "Heimdall!" A shimmering rainbow bridge descended from the sky to envelop him.

And as the bridge vanished, so did Thor.

He had left in a hurry, not even checking on the unconscious person. All that mattered to him now was returning quickly and treating his facial wound, afraid it might become a permanent disfigurement.

Isaac looked up at the sky where the Bifrost had disappeared and sighed internally."So, he didn't kill them in the end? Well... at least he has some qualifications to be called a superhero."

He then turned his gaze to Tony Stark, who lay not far away.

Maybe... this is how all internet trolls end up, he thought with mild sarcasm.

He didn't know the exact details of the conflict between the two, but given Tony Stark's abrasive personality, it wasn't hard to guess that he must have provoked Thor, the hot-headed fool.

Before his redemption arc, Thor was never one to consider consequences. If someone insulted him in a chat room, he'd probably show up at their house and raise hell.

Thinking about consequences? How might it affect his image as a hero?

Never part of his calculations.

And now that the "Seagull and Clam" fight was over, wasn't it time for the hunter to enter the scene?

That's what Isaac thought as he scanned the devastated battlefield.

Less than a minute after Thor's departure, armored SUVs arrived at the scene. Soldiers from Hydra jumped out, armed and ready, surrounding the area to prevent unwanted interference.

Their commander approached the Human Torch, then glanced at the distant Tony Stark and ordered his men:"Don't bother with that spoiled brat. Leave him. Our main target is the flame guy."

From the sky, Isaac watched the scene with great amusement. He immediately started a live stream, recording everything, and sent a special notification to his favorite teasing target:

[Isaac: @Nick Fury, guess which organization this guy's from?]

[Nick Fury: Who are they? What are they doing there?... No, impossible! They're Hydra?!]

[Susan: Oh my god! They want to take my brother! @Mr. Isaac, please save him! I promise to repay you as soon as I can!]

[Whitehall: @Isaac, I suggest you don't interfere. Hydra business doesn't concern you.]

[Nick Fury: They're definitely Hydra.]

[Mr. Fantastic: Isaac, please save the Torch. You'll be rewarded later!]

After publicly exposing Hydra, Isaac ended the stream.

The real reason he'd gone live was simply to annoy Hydra—and humiliate S.H.I.E.L.D.—his daily dose of fun.

As soon as he ended the stream, he received several private messages:

[Whitehall: Mr. Isaac, if you stay out of this, we'll consider you a loyal friend.]

[Baron Strucker: Isaac, is it? I don't care who you are. But if you interfere, think very carefully about the consequences.]

[Susan: Mr. Isaac, please save my brother. Johnny is all I have left.]

Isaac ignored Hydra's messages and replied to Susan:

[Isaac: I can save your brother, but... what will you do in return? As you know, Hydra is powerful. This won't be easy.]

[Susan: Great, you replied! I'll do anything—just save him!]

[Isaac: Then... how about a simple date?]

[Susan: Uhh... that...]

She looked at his request, hesitant. Although she had separated from Reed, she didn't want to dive back into that exhausting world of relationships, especially after the frozen, draining one she'd endured.

But Isaac wasn't in a rush. He waited calmly for her to make her decision.

Susan Storm, the Invisible Woman, had potent abilities: invisibility and force-field manipulation—powers that any ambitious villain would envy.

In the Fantastic Four movies, Susan never showed her full potential. Why? Lack of mental and physical readiness.

Now, she had to choose: her brother, or her lover—Reed Richards?

A painful decision, but in the end, blood triumphed over love.

She clenched her teeth and chose to betray her lover—or her ex-lover.

[Susan: Fine! I promise. Just save him—please!]

[Isaac: Then the deal is done.]

Isaac closed the chat and shut the interface, then turned his attention to the Hydra soldiers dragging Johnny—mentally and physically drained—toward their vehicle.

He paused to reflect before taking any action.

Was it moral to exploit the situation for personal gain?Of course not.

But having witnessed the filth of the human world twice—and being a politician in his past life didn't help—he knew better. Even his system agreed: in a world like this, names like "hero" or "villain" didn't matter. Everything was based on personal interests—and family, if applicable.

As for playing the hero? Come on…

In worlds like these, even the most famous villain could be seen as a hero—if he did one right thing.
