Marvel: The Chaos Witch

"We gotta find a way to break through that shield!" shouted War machine

"On it."

Adam had just blocked another attack when he felt something punch his cheek with so much force that his head turned to the side. Losing his focus for a moment, the shield revealed a small hole which the Avengers didn't waste. Vision, Iron man and Vision fired their energy beams at full force at Adam pummelling him to the ground. They didn't let up but rather continued hitting him with the energy beams whose force buried and pushed Adam deeper and deeper into the ground. Finally, the three Avengers stopped firing their energy beams.

"Is It done? Is he dead?" asked Ant man who transformed back into a regular sized man walking towards slowly towards the deep hole.

"He should be. He only got Wanda's powers which means while his psychic abilities are strong, his physique should only be slightly above average for a human. I saw that he took the full force of all three of our energy blasts head on which means that he should be dead. Even Wanda would die taking on such an attack let alone this poser" said Tony Stark as he hovered down, his scanners peering into the hole for any signs of life through all the dust blocking their vision. Suddenly his scanners picked up a strong signature within the hole.

"He's still alive" shouted Tony as he tried to fly upwards only for him to watch in horror as his suit shut down. War machine, hearing Tony's warning but saw that he hadn't moved yet instinctively felt that something was wrong. He tried to rush towards Tony however he found that his suit had suddenly shut down rendering him immobile.

"What the hell is going?" asked Ant man as he continuously pressed the button on his glove trying to miniaturize only for nothing to happen. He could however move as his suit was most leather with only the technical parts present being the quantum converters that altered his size. They couldn't however focus on their conundrum as from the hole they watched as Adam slowly flew upwards. His skin was glowing in a golden colour while his face bore a mocking smile.

"Well that was truly enlightening. Thank you all for helping me test how durable my body has become." Said Adam as he dusted the dust off his clothes revealing that while his clothes had been ripped in multiple parts his skin was as smooth as a baby's. All those physical and energy attacks had done no damage to him at all thanks to his invulnerable skin and with his energy absorbing and redirection ability he had just acquired from Lucas Bishop, he had absorb all of the energy from the energy beams which granted him increased physical attributes.

Black Widow rushed towards Adam who had landed on the ground, coming at him with a flying kick only for Adam to release all the energy he had absorbed firing it off as a powerful energy beam which hit Natasha's chest sending her crashing and rolling into the ground before colliding with a car falling unconscious. On her chest was a large circular pierce of smoking flesh which looked quite serious and painful.

"As thanks, you can all die."

Having solved Black Widow, Adam turned to Ant man and raised his hand causing strong red energies to gather and condense on Ant man's head. Vision, seeing this rushed towards Adam at high speeds however using his other hand, Adam fired off a mist of energy which began to warp and interfere with the functionality of the Mind stone on vision's head immobilizing him.

"You have always been a bad match against Wanda's powers" said Adam to the struggling Vision before turning back to Ant man before beginning to slowly clench his hand causing Ant-man's tough helmet to deform, compress and contract slowly starting to crush Ant-man. Guessing what was about to happen, the rest of the Avengers began to plead with him to stop. There was also Spider man who had already arrived by his side and began to pummel the new energy shields protecting him however other than causing it to ripple it did nothing else. With a final clench of his fist the Avengers watched in horror as the helmet completely compressed, crushing Ant-man's head and killing him instantly. Blood gushed out of the deformed helmet as Ant-man's body collapsed onto the ground.

"One down."

Turning towards the shocked and horrified War Machine, Adam waved his hand causing War Machine to float towards him. Rhodey, within the suit, could already imagine his death but all he could was watch in horror as he quickly floated towards. Just as Rhodey was about to reach Adam, he suddenly disappeared from sight appearing dozens of meters away. The same thing happened with the rest of the Avengers as within the blink of an eye they reappeared dozens of meters ahead of him.

'How?' Adam however realized the answer when he saw a young 18 year old looking adult standing in front of the Avengers group wearing googles and with silver hair.

"So it was you Mr Peter who interrupted my battle with the Avengers however actions have consequences." Said Adam as he snapped his fingers however to the confusion of everyone present, nothing happened. Peter however felt an intense feeling of foreboding as he gazed at Adam.

"What did you do?" asked Peter to which Adam simply replied "Why don't you go check on your family." Peter with dread sped away only to return seven seconds later, his face ashen as he looked at Adam with a look filled with rage and sorrow. On his shoulders were his mother and sister who were currently unconscious.

"What have you done?" asked Peter as he softly held his dearest family close to him.

"I've partially shut down their brains putting them in a coma however fear not they are not dead and I can easily bring them back should I choose. However I can also chose to completely shut down their brains killing them instantly. It all depends on your mood" explained Adam as he watched Peter's face filled with despair suddenly gain a glimmer of hope.
