Marvel : Strongest Siblings

Chapter 276: Marvel 276

The room still crackled faintly with lingering spiritual energy as Max, ever calm, slipped his shirt back on and prepared to leave. But before stepping out, he tossed a small, crystalline bottle onto the bed beside Bibi Dong.

"Tier VIII Rebirth Phoenix Pill," he said casually, as if offering her nothing more than candy. "It'll strip away every impurity you've ever carried… even the ones that god shoved into your bones."

Bibi Dong's eyes widened slightly. She wasn't naïve. Even in Spirit Hall, only rumors floated around about such pills—wondrous, near-mythical treasures said to destroy and rebuild the body entirely, leaving behind perfection. But an actual Phoenix Pill? Tier Eight? That was practically the stuff of legends.

She hesitated for only a breath. Then, pride gave way to hunger for power.

The pill was consumed.

Immediately, flames engulfed her. They weren't ordinary flames—these danced with ethereal crimson-gold hues, wrapping around her like silken ribbons of molten power. Her body was reduced to ash in mere seconds, not through destruction, but through refinement. Even the lingering traces of divine corruption left by the Rakshasa God were burned away.

The ashes settled.

Then… from the glowing mound, new life emerged.

Bibi Dong stepped forth once more—reborn.

Her skin glowed faintly, flawless and smooth like polished jade, radiant with vitality. Her figure was even more exquisite than before, curves sharpened, muscles honed yet retaining the grace of a queen. But what truly changed was the aura surrounding her—dangerous, seductive, commanding… yet utterly untamed.

She was naked, but didn't flinch or cover herself. Max had seen—claimed—her body already. Modesty was beneath her now.

As she flexed her fingers, two ghostly silhouettes materialized beside her. Beautiful, predatory, and feminine—these were the humanized forms of her evolved Martial Spirits.

One was the Death Spider Empress, her body wrapped in shimmering black chitin-like armor, eight eyes glowing faintly, her aura oozing deadly elegance.

The other was the Soul Devouring Spider Empress, her form more ethereal, adorned in violet silk-like strands, eyes cold and sharp as blades of obsidian.

The Rebirth Phoenix Pill hadn't just perfected Bibi Dong's body—it had refined her Martial Spirits as well, elevating them to their peak. No longer grotesque spider beasts—now, they were humanoid, beautiful… and far more lethal.

Bibi Dong smirked as she inspected her new form, turning slightly in front of the mirror with predatory satisfaction.

"Impressive," she muttered. "So this is what true evolution feels like."

Bibi Dong rolled her eyes, but a faint smile tugged at her lips as Max's hands circled her waist, pulling her close once more.

"You're impossible," she whispered, her voice softer now—devoid of the usual authority she wielded in front of others.

Max smirked as his eyes roamed over her, appreciation clear and unrestrained. "You can't blame me. The pill didn't just rebuild your strength—it sculpted perfection."

Bibi Dong's cheeks flushed faintly despite herself, her new body responding to the warmth of his gaze. The sensation… the lightness in her frame, the vitality coursing through her… it was overwhelming. Her flaws, her scars, even the subtle traces of her past torments—they were gone.

"You feel different," Max added, his voice lowering. "Not just stronger… untouched. As if the past never existed."

Realization bloomed in Bibi Dong's eyes as her hand traced along her skin. The phoenix flame hadn't simply refined her—it had restored her completely.

"I…" Her voice faltered for a breath before she recovered. "I should be angry… but for once, I feel… free."

Max leaned in, pressing his forehead to hers, their breaths mingling in the quiet space between them.

"Good," he whispered. "Because the only chains left on you now… are the ones you choose."

And then… another round of battle began—the kind without clothes. It was only later, in the quiet aftermath, that Max realized the Phoenix Rebirth Pill's effects were even more thorough than he'd anticipated. Bibi Dong's body… it had been restored entirely. She was once again untouched, flawless, as if fate itself had been rewritten.

Naturally, that discovery only intensified the battle.

A month passed swiftly.

Max spent most of it in Spirit Hall—though if he were honest, "Spirit Hall" mostly meant Bibi Dong's chambers. Their relationship had evolved beyond simple games of power and pride. But Max, ever cautious, ensured Bibi Dong used the special suppressive herbs he'd given her. The last thing he needed was an unexpected heir complicating things.

But now… it was time to leave.

Standing by the grand Spirit Hall gates, Bibi Dong approached, arms crossed, wearing that familiar look that was equal parts frustration, pride, and reluctant fondness.

"So," she said, eyes narrowing slightly, "where exactly are you going now? Off to stir chaos somewhere else?"

Max chuckled, fastening his cloak as the sun glinted off his Honorary Elder token.

"I am also the Dean of Ghidorah Academy, you know," Max said casually, fastening his cloak.

Bibi Dong rolled her eyes. "Are you really a Dean? I've heard you don't even show your face most of the time. Your students probably think you're a myth."

Max shrugged without shame. "I have capable people under me. Why micromanage when they can handle the day-to-day?"

Bibi Dong narrowed her eyes faintly, watching him. "Why are you making me miss you already?" she mumbled under her breath, just low enough that most wouldn't catch it—but Max did.

A grin curved his lips as he stepped closer, cupping her chin gently. "You miss me already? How unlike the feared Pope Bibi Dong…" he teased, leaning in and stealing a deep kiss. Bibi Dong let out a muffled protest, but melted into it, her arms looping loosely around him.

"Don't worry," Max whispered against her lips. "I'll try to behave… at least outside the bedroom. Inside… no promises."

Bibi Dong huffed, half-annoyed, half-flustered, watching him turn to leave, a satisfied smirk on his face.

Before departing, Max casually pulled out one of the External Spirit Bones from his storage. It was originally intended for Lumia, but now that she already possessed an External Spirit Bone—those beautiful Soul-Luring Butterfly wings—it was no longer needed for her.

Instead, the prize would go to Bibi Dong's treasured disciple, Hu Liena. With her exceptional beauty and potential, it was only fitting. Besides, strengthening her meant strengthening Bibi Dong's camp... which now, ultimately, served him.
