Marvel : Strongest Siblings

Chapter 130: Marvel 130

After reaching an abandoned area, Matt stepped out of the car and stretched his arms.

"Hmm… so, are you guys coming out or not?" he asked, looking ahead.

Behind him, the three Monarchs exchanged glances.

"Yes, I'm talking to you three fools," Matt said again, his tone mocking.

The Beast Monarch emerged from the shadows, stepping out of his stealth. "You have quite the tongue for a mere human," he remarked, eyeing Matt with a predatory gaze.

Matt smirked as he met the Beast Monarch's stare. "Beast Monarch, huh? Great."

In the blink of an eye, he vanished from his spot, a golden blade igniting in his hand. He slashed at the Beast Monarch with incredible speed. The Beast Monarch's eyes widened in shock—Matt's golden sword was just an inch away from slicing his head off. However, at the last moment, an ice sword blocked the attack.

"Frost Monarch," Matt muttered, glancing at the wielder of the icy blade.

The third figure, the Plague Monarch, Qursha, also stepped forward, completing the triangle formation as they surrounded Matt.

"You know, you'd actually be hot," Matt remarked, completely ignoring the other two Monarchs as he looked at Qursha. "If not for the fact that your body is made up of countless insects."

Qursha merely smiled sweetly. "Of course, I can have human skin too," she said playfully. "Just be mine, and you can enjoy your time with me every day."

Matt shrugged. "Nah, I hate bugs."

Hearing Matt's blunt rejection, Qursha pouted playfully. "Such a shame… You'd make a fine mate."

Matt rolled his eyes. "Yeah, hard pass. Now, are we fighting, or are you guys just here to flirt?"

The Beast Monarch let out a deep growl, his muscles tensing. "Arrogant human!" He lunged forward with monstrous speed, his claws extending like black steel.

Matt didn't move.

Just as the Beast Monarch's claws were about to reach him, a golden ripple spread from Matt's body. In an instant, time seemed to slow down.

Chronos Step.

Matt twisted his body effortlessly, sidestepping the attack as if he were moving through water. The Beast Monarch's attack missed completely, leaving him wide open.

Matt's golden blade hummed as he brought it down.

SLASH!

A deep gash opened across the Beast Monarch's chest, black blood spraying into the air. The Monarch howled in pain, staggering back.

Frost Monarch frowned. "His speed… that wasn't teleportation. He's manipulating time itself."

Qursha licked her lips, her insectoid eyes gleaming with intrigue. "Oh my, you're full of surprises, aren't you?"

Matt spun his sword lazily in his hand. "You guys sure talk a lot for people about to die."

The air grew heavy as frost spread across the ground, and plague-infested mist began swirling around them.

The Monarchs weren't going to hold back anymore.

Matt smirked. Now things are getting interesting.

He after some months of Training has finally found his true attribute and it is Time, and after gaining the power of Monarch of Beginning he ascended as Ruler of Time.

Frost spread across the battlefield as the temperature plummeted, ice creeping along the ground toward Matt's feet. At the same time, a sickly green mist filled the air, carrying the stench of decay—Qursha's plague magic.

Matt cracked his neck. "Alright, let's do this."

The Beast Monarch roared, ignoring the pain in his chest as he transformed further. His muscles swelled, his fur bristled, and his claws elongated into obsidian-like blades.

"Rip him apart!" Frost Monarch commanded, raising his ice sword.

The Beast Monarch lunged again, faster this time, his wounds regenerating at an insane rate. At the same moment, Frost Monarch swung his blade, sending a frozen wave of destruction toward Matt. Qursha laughed, her mist tightening around him like a noose.

Matt exhaled slowly. They think this is enough?

Chronos Step—Limit Release.

Time slowed to a crawl.

The ice wave moved like molasses. The Beast Monarch's leap became sluggish midair. Qursha's mist barely inched forward.

Matt vanished.

A golden blur cut through the battlefield.

SLASH!

The Beast Monarch let out a strangled grunt as his right arm was severed clean off. Black blood sprayed as his massive body crashed into the ground.

SLASH!

Frost Monarch barely managed to raise his sword before a golden blade cleaved through his ice armor, leaving a deep wound on his chest.

Matt appeared behind them, flicking blood off his sword. "Is that it?"

Qursha's smile faltered for the first time. "Impossible… We didn't even see him move!"

The Beast Monarch clutched his bleeding shoulder, his breathing ragged. "Damn you… Damn you, human!"

Matt's gaze was cold. "I told you. You should've killed me before I got stronger."

The Monarchs realized too late.

They were prey.

And Matt was the predator.

The air grew thick with tension. The Monarchs, once so confident, now faced something they hadn't accounted for—fear.

Matt didn't give them a chance to recover. He vanished again.

Chronos Severing Time—Second Cut.

A golden arc of energy sliced through the night.

The Beast Monarch tried to react, but his instincts failed him. His body froze as time itself rejected his existence.

SLASH!

His left leg disappeared. No blood, no wound—it was as if time had erased it from history.

The Beast Monarch collapsed with a pained roar, clawing at the ground, his regeneration failing against Matt's ability.

Frost Monarch gritted his teeth, slamming his palm against the ground.

Absolute Zero!

A dome of ice exploded outward, aiming to freeze Matt solid.

But Matt had already moved.

Appearing behind Frost Monarch, he swung his blade down.

CLANG!

A thick barrier of ice barely stopped the attack. Frost Monarch's arms trembled as he reinforced it with every ounce of magic he had. "Damn… this human…!"

Matt smirked. "Still standing? Not bad."

Then he turned his attention to Qursha, who had been eerily silent.

That's when he noticed—her body had started melting.

Or rather… reforming.

Countless insects crawled over her skin, shifting and reshaping her into something grotesque.

She grinned, her voice layered with thousands of whispers. "I was hoping to keep this form for later… but you've forced my hand, Hunter Matt."

The ground beneath Matt twisted. A black mass of insects surged upward, trying to consume him whole.

Matt clicked his tongue. "Disgusting."

Soul Flames—Burn Everything.

A wave of gray-blue fire erupted from his body, washing over the swarm.

Screeches filled the night as Qursha's insects burned, their bodies unable to regenerate against the soul-devouring flames.

She let out a shriek of pain, retreating as half her body was incinerated. "You bastard!"

Matt exhaled. "One down."

The Beast Monarch struggled to rise, his eyes filled with hatred. "I… won't… die… to a human!"

Matt's gaze sharpened. "Then die as a beast."

He raised his sword.

Chronos Severing Time—Final Cut.

A silent slash.

A golden line split the sky.

The Beast Monarch froze. His eyes widened in horror.

Then—his entire body crumbled into dust.

Matt flicked his sword clean, looking at the last two Monarchs. "You're next."

Frost Monarch and Qursha exchanged terrified glances.

For the first time in their immortal lives… they felt true despair.
