Chapter 246: Chapter 246: Heal The Injury!

Thinking about it, it really is the case. After all, we don't have too many worries.

The Witch smiled brightly, casually taking his hand. She turned to the Dark Witch, who had yet to speak, and said, "Let's go. Let's go home."

"Good."

At that moment—whether by coincidence or fate—the two of them spoke in unison.

Not long after, Finn and the others returned to the apartment.

But just then, a ripple spread through the air behind them. Subtle but palpable, the disturbance in the void made Finn and the Dark Witch turn around simultaneously.

The Witch blinked, puzzled. "What happened?"

BOOM!!

An intense surge of energy shattered the space like glass, tearing through the air. From within the ruptured void, two figures emerged.

When Finn finally saw their faces clearly, he froze in utter shock. It was Thor and Valkyrie.

"It's you?"

He was the first to speak, his voice laced with confusion and concern. "Why are you here? It looks like you've been through hell."

His gaze narrowed. Blood had soaked into their armor, and deep scars laced their bodies. Their faces were grim, breaths ragged, like warriors dragged straight from war.

The atmosphere immediately grew heavy, thick with tension and the coppery scent of blood.

"What happened?"

The Witch moved forward quickly, inspecting their wounds. A closer look confirmed it—while not immediately life-threatening, the injuries were deep and debilitating. The two Asgardians had clearly endured a brutal battle.

"For now, don't let them speak," the Dark Witch said, her expression sobering instantly. Gone was her usual levity. Her gaze was focused, clinical, and serious.

"Their condition is far worse than it appears. Without powerful healing, they might never fully recover."

She wasn't being dramatic. Her expertise in chaotic magic made her judgment absolute.

The Witch nodded. "I understand. Let's get them inside."

She didn't ask any more questions. The visible damage was enough. Talking could wait.

Time, however, could not.

Together, they carried Thor and Valkyrie into the apartment.

They hadn't chosen a hospital for a reason. No facility, no matter how advanced on Earth, had the capability to heal gods. Their biology was far more complex than anything human doctors could handle. Even SHIELD medical facilities would struggle.

"Finn, do you have any idea how they got these injuries?" the Witch asked suddenly, looking to him with narrowed eyes. She seemed desperate for any kind of insight.

"Honestly?" Finn replied, shaking his head. "Not exactly."

He frowned. "But judging from how badly they're hurt... This goes far beyond anything normal. These two are Avengers—cosmic-level beings. Ordinary weapons can't scratch them."

He paused for a moment, letting that fact hang in the air.

"In truth," he continued slowly, "the kind of damage they've taken... Only someone or something with the power to rival a god could've done this."

That thought alone made his stomach tighten.

The Witch looked even more concerned, but she didn't press him further.

"Let's focus on healing them first," she said.

"Agreed," Finn nodded. "We'll figure the rest out later."

The Dark Witch and the Witch shared a look of understanding. Without clear answers, chasing theories would be a waste of energy—and right now, the two injured warriors needed every second.

They turned their attention back to the living room. Thor and Valkyrie lay unconscious on the sofa, blood still staining their Asgardian battle-worn attire.

"What do we do to help them?" the Witch asked again, her voice full of worry and anticipation.

She knew she wasn't strong enough on her own. The injuries were far too severe for basic spells.

"Let me try," the Dark Witch said calmly, her voice like steel wrapped in velvet. Her eyes glowed faintly red. "With my current strength... I should be able to heal both of them."

Finn nodded. "Alright. If anyone can do it, it's you."

He trusted her. In a very real sense, the Dark Witch—chaos magic incarnate—had eclipsed even his own level of power.

The Witch gave her silent approval too. She'd seen firsthand what the Dark Witch was capable of. There was no doubt about her skill.

"Okay," she said. "Try. I hope you can pull it off."

The moment they stepped back, the Dark Witch raised her hands. Chaos energy began to swirl, forming a pulsating aura around her.

Scarlet tendrils danced across her fingertips like lightning. The energy surged, wild and uncontained, a living storm tethered to her will.

It was like watching a sorceress from myth—a being that could shape existence with a whisper. The raw magical power she summoned warped the air itself, and a low rumble echoed through the room as the temperature dropped.

Wind rose out of nowhere, curling around her in violent arcs.

The Witch and Finn stood by, eyes locked on her. Despite the chaos, they didn't flinch.

They trusted her control.

They'd seen what she was capable of when she unleashed herself. She was no longer just a wielder of chaos—she was chaos.

The turbulent magic stabilized, gathering in her palms.

Then, gently, she laid her hands on Thor and Valkyrie.

The energy pulsed through them, thread by thread, molecule by molecule. It seeped into their bones, their blood, their cells.

The energy did not explode outward—it funneled into their very essence.

BOOM!!!

A final shockwave burst forth from her, not destructive but pure—pure regenerative force.

Thor and Valkyrie's bodies arched involuntarily, caught in the magical current. The injuries on their skin began to knit back together before their eyes. Broken armor repaired itself. Bones snapped back into place. Wounds closed, leaving only faint golden lines in their wake.

And then—

A blinding light enveloped them both. It wasn't just healing.

It was rebirth.

The kind of restoration only possible through cosmic-level chaos magic.

The light slowly faded, and the two Asgardians fell still once more—breathing, but unconscious.

The Dark Witch exhaled deeply. The spell had taken its toll. Beads of sweat rolled down her temples, her shoulders slightly trembling. But she didn't fall. She remained upright, her eyes still glowing dimly from the remnants of energy.

"They're stable," she said at last.

Finn took a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "You did it."

The Witch moved quickly to check their pulses, nodding. "Heart rate is normal. Wounds are gone. You really did it."

It was a quiet moment of triumph in the middle of chaos. And yet, despite the success, the air still carried tension.

Who or what had injured Thor and Valkyrie so badly?

If two of Earth's strongest defenders had been defeated like this... then whatever force they had faced was still out there—and it was powerful enough to bring gods to their knees.

Finn looked out the window, his fists clenched. He didn't say anything. He didn't need to.
