Marvel : I'm in Westview Town

Chapter 233: Chapter 233 : The Battle Is Completely Over!

"Small tricks!!!"

Seeing this scene, Mara shouted coldly. The dark power in his body surged again, and a terrifying wave swept outward.

Immediately, his body pierced directly through the two blazing suns, charging toward Finn.

"Get out!!!"

Finn roared in anger. He launched a frenzied barrage with both hands, unleashing an endless torrent of energy that engulfed the battlefield.

Boom!!!

The two forces collided, releasing terrifying shockwaves.

The void quaked. The earth trembled. It was as if the apocalypse itself had descended.

Thunder cracked through the sky, rolling with the sound of divine judgment, as if the entire world teetered on the brink of destruction.

The battlefield was transformed into a Shura purgatory.

All surrounding trees were annihilated.

Only two figures remained.

Finn and Mara.

They stood at the center of the storm, locked in a savage clash of wills and power.

Finn radiated blinding light, his long black hair whipping through the air like the mane of a celestial deity. He hovered in the void, a divine force incarnate.

Across from him, Mara was cloaked in a malevolent dark aura. His entire body shimmered with shadow, like a demonic entity summoned from the deepest hell.

The two collided with ferocity, unleashing their strongest and most devastating techniques.

"Die!!!"

Suddenly, Mara shouted, voice echoing with fury.

He vanished from his position in a blink—teleportation fused with a burst of speed from his inner dark dimension.

He reappeared directly in front of Finn, slashing with razor-sharp claws, aiming straight at the wolf-like warrior.

The move was ruthless, swift, and perfectly angled—leaving Finn no room to dodge or defend. Every escape route was sealed.

Swish!!!

But Finn didn't panic.

A subtle smile curled at the corner of his mouth. As if he had been expecting this all along.

In the blink of an eye, his body shimmered and flickered, narrowly evading the fatal strike.

"Hmph, you think you can pull dirty tricks on me? You're too naive!!!"

Mara snarled as his attack missed, and he launched forward again.

A thick blood mist erupted from his body, steeped in demonic essence. The miasma of evil grew heavier with every step he took.

He raised his palm—and in a flash of black fire, a blade forged from infernal energy took shape in his hand. The sword pulsed with raw killing intent and shot toward Finn.

Finn summoned the holy power of the Vishanti, constructing a gleaming magical shield in front of him.

Bang!!!

The two forces collided, unleashing chaos. But Finn held his ground, not even slightly overpowered.

Mara's expression twisted. He could sense the balance shifting.

"It's useless! You can't stop me for long!"

He roared, eyes glowing with a bloodthirsty yellow light.

His blade blazed with black flames, its aura devouring the oxygen in the air, burning even the laws of the universe.

"It's you who's going to die!!!"

Just then, Finn's icy voice cut through the madness.

In a flash of radiant gold, a lightsaber—pure and righteous—pierced the void and slashed through Mara's side at lightning speed.

Crack!!!

With a sharp snap of bone, Mara's body shuddered violently.

A stream of blood gushed from his side.

Mara shrieked.

He clutched at the mangled stump where his arm used to be, face contorting in agony. His glowing eyes locked onto the void in disbelief.

Boom!!!

The space around them detonated as Finn emerged, triumphant.

"How? How did you break through my technique?"

Mara stared at Finn, disbelief etched into every line of his face.

This time, he had invoked one of the demon Faction's forbidden arts—his power had been amplified several times.

The surge of dark energy he released should have been unstoppable.

And yet, Finn had broken through it.

"Because you're arrogant. That's your downfall."

Finn replied coldly, his fist slamming into Mara's chest with devastating force.

Mara was sent flying, crashing hard into the earth.

Finn seized the opportunity and raced forward, planting his foot firmly on Mara's chest.

Psst!!!

Mara's throat spasmed, and blood erupted from his mouth.

"You've lost. This is your end."

Finn gazed down at him with calm fury, voice devoid of sympathy.

Mara's face twisted in rage and fear. A cruel, desperate glint flared in his eyes.

"Finn, do you really dare to kill me?"

"Don't forget who stands behind us."

His voice echoed ominously. He invoked the name of the dark factions pulling strings across dimensions—those tied to Mephisto, the Shadow Council, and more.

Finn remained unfazed.

"If I kill you, I'll vanish for a while. But when I return, it'll be the day your demon Faction is wiped from the multiverse."

He said it with such finality that even Mara paled.

A flicker of true fear crossed his face.

If Finn truly followed through—if he went to the higher realms and returned empowered—then yes, the demon Faction might be doomed.

That realization caused Mara's tone to shift.

He immediately feigned weakness.

"Please, let me go. I was blinded by rage. I lost control. I'm begging you."

His voice was low, trembling, almost pathetic. A lesser warrior might've been swayed.

But not Finn.

He smiled.

Not a kind smile.

Boom!!!

Before Mara could process what was happening, Finn summoned the Sword of Weishan—the very blade forged in the core of mystic cosmic law—and brought it down.

The energy infused with it was enhanced by the Flames of the Faltine and the Mark of the Vishanti. Even immortality offered no shield against it.

In an instant, Mara was utterly obliterated.

The void fell into silence.

Mara, the enforcer of the demon Faction, was dead.

Finn didn't glance at the corpse. He turned and left.

Although his body was still functional, the accumulation of battles had pushed him to his limit. His bones ached. His soul trembled.

Sleep threatened to claim him.

But his will—honed through fire and darkness—carried him forward.

Soon after.

Finn returned to the Sanctum of the Vishanti.

The moment he crossed into the sacred dimension, his senses were overwhelmed with emotion.

Stephen Strange and the others stood waiting, worry etched on every face.

He was their dawn.

"Finn, you scared me. Are you hurt?"

The Scarlet Witch's voice cracked as she ran toward him.

She clutched him tightly, her embrace like warm crystal, trembling with emotion.

She didn't let go, knowing if she did, he might collapse.

And that was the last thing she could bear to see.

The others said nothing.

They saw the exhaustion in his eyes.

They saw the weight he carried.

No words were needed.

"Let me rest first."

Finn managed a tired smile. He gently patted Wanda's head and turned toward his quarters.

No one stopped him.

Instead, Wanda carefully supported him, guiding him inside.

And as the doors closed behind them, silence fell.

The war was not over.

But this battle was won.

And for now, the light endured.
