Marvel: I Started by Containing SCPs

Chapter 483: Chapter 483

"Dyna! Hang in there!"

Seeing that Dyna was almost out of energy, Rena clasped her hands tightly, praying for him.

"Hurry up!"

Munakata urged, glancing anxiously toward the nearby research facility.

Luckily, the electromagnetic wave radar at the institute had already locked onto Kayako's position.

It also helped that Kayako was so focused on fighting Dyna that she hadn't noticed anything around her.

"Perfect! Now's the time!"

Hori shouted excitedly.

The electromagnetic emitter activated, releasing a surge of electromagnetic waves that touched the space around Kayako.

The moment they came into contact with different wave frequencies, the space around Kayako began to tremble violently.

Kayako, now puzzled, looked around, easing the pressure of her hair-based attacks.

As the emitter kept blasting pure and intense electromagnetic energy, Kayako visibly suffered, gasping in pain.

"Paradise Lost!!"

Gaiamon seized the opportunity, using his finisher to blow apart the hair entangling Dyna and pulled him free!

"Dyna! Now's your chance!"

Hori shouted through a megaphone, hoping Dyna could hear him.

Dyna did hear him. Without hesitation, he formed a cross with his arms and fired the Specium Ray at Kayako.

This time, unaffected by spatial distortion, the beam landed cleanly.

Kayako shrieked in agony.

Gaiamon followed up with another Paradise Lost, making her suffer even more.

"Yes! Keep it up!"

Rena cried out, thrilled. With this momentum, Dyna and Gaiamon might really win.

"No… something's wrong."

Just then, Munakata's sixth sense kicked in.

"I remember... Kayako wasn't the only ghost that showed up in TPC last time."

Hearing that, both Hori and Rena froze—faces turning pale with realization.

BOOOOOM!!

As if to confirm their fears, a massive hole suddenly opened beneath Dyna and Gaiamon, interrupting their attacks and pulling them downward.

Dyna quickly looked down—and saw a colossal figure waiting below: Toshio.

But unlike before, his skin wasn't pale and naked. Now it was patchy, grotesquely fused with the twisted flesh of Gazort, except for his face, which remained ghostly white—making him look even more disturbing.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

In the next second, Toshio let out a sharp, bone-piercing scream.

A sonic assault rippled through the air, bombarding Dyna and Gaiamon, forcing them to cover their ears in pain.

Kayako took advantage of the opening and turned to face the electromagnetic emitter.

She had been suffering from its pure interference since earlier, unable to unleash her full power.

Now, her rage exploded.

She launched a glowing sphere of energy directly at the research facility!

"No!"

Rena, Munakata, and Hori shouted in unison. If the institute was destroyed, the waves restraining Kayako would be gone. Dyna would stand no chance!

Just as the sphere was about to strike—

CRACK!!

A bolt of lightning fell from the sky, forming a glowing shield that intercepted the attack.

BOOOOM!!!

With a thunderous explosion, sparks from the lightning and energy sphere burst in all directions—but the facility remained intact.

"What… was that?!"

Hori looked up—and gasped. Above the facility, dense black clouds had appeared from nowhere.

They were not ordinary storm clouds. Lightning crackled across them unnaturally, and they seemed... alive.

Even more clouds were drifting in from every direction, all gathering above Kayako, forming a massive thunderhead that darkened the entire area.

KRA-KOOM!!!

Then, they all erupted with blinding lightning!

"Wait… could this be the Thunder Beings?!"

Hori shouted in disbelief.

"It is!"

Norio's voice came through the communicator.

"All the Thunder Beings' nests floating above Japan just converged over Kayako!"

He was furiously typing, unable to hide his shock.

"Don't tell me…"

Hori flipped open the analyzer and aimed it at the storm. New electrical signals were detected.

"The Thunder Beings… they're generating electromagnetic waves! They're countering Kayako's power!"

His voice trembled in disbelief.

"They must be seeking revenge for their fallen kin…"

Munakata muttered, stunned.

"Exactly. Kayako devoured one of them, even twisted its soul. Now, they've come to help Dyna!"

Hori echoed the thought, eyes wide with awe.

"GYYAAAAHHHH!!!"

Now, with electromagnetic interference from both the Thunder Beings and the facility, Kayako was in unbearable agony. Already injured by Dyna, this was the final blow—like a virus being eradicated by medication.

BANG!

Toshio, too, was caught in the wave. Overwhelmed by the sudden shift, he could no longer restrain Dyna or Gaiamon.

Gaiamon grabbed Toshio and hurled him at Kayako, then helped Dyna climb out of the pit.

"Dyna! Gaiamon! Now's your moment!"

Hori yelled.

"Yeah!"

Dyna nodded firmly. They couldn't miss this chance.

He gathered all his remaining power and fired the Zeperion Beam.

Gaiamon joined him, unleashing Paradise Lost at full strength.

The two beams merged, fusing into an even larger beam of light that engulfed both Kayako and Toshio!

"AAAAHHHHHH!!!"

The twin ghosts shrieked as the overwhelming power burned through them. Smoke poured from their bodies.

Kayako tried to use her powers, but the pain and the constant electromagnetic bombardment left her helpless.

All she could do was take the hit like a defenseless target.

Finally, both she and Toshio vanished, leaving behind only black mist dispersing into the wind.

From a distance, Hori watched silently, then said with deep emotion:

"The Thunder Beings hate electromagnetic waves more than anything… yet they created them, just to avenge their fallen and help Dyna. They even protected the emitter they used to see as a threat."

"This victory—was only possible through the joint effort of Dyna, the Thunder Beings, and humanity."
