Marvel: I Started by Containing SCPs

Chapter 449: Chapter 449

"None of your business!"

Tony quickly put his sunglasses back on the moment he realized they had noticed his eye, not wanting them to see any further.

"Did someone hit you?"

But there was no way Banner would let it go—he immediately asked.

Tony's eyebrow twitched, and he put on a look that said he didn't want to talk about it.

"I heard from Hill that Tony Stark went to see someone named Hank Pym yesterday, and before he even got inside, he got punched and sent flying."

Cain explained from the side.

"Huh? Wait, isn't Tony like some kind of angel now? How could he get injured by anyone?"

Banner asked in confusion.

"Apparently, Hank Pym was in the middle of an experiment. His gloves were covered in all kinds of nasty substances, so when he hit Tony, it left a mark on his eye—and it won't wash off."

Cain continued to explain.

"Ohhh…"

After hearing this, Bruce Banner nodded in sudden understanding.

"Hey! Are you and Hill a thing or something? How does she tell you everything?"

Tony shouted in annoyance.

Since the secret was out, he simply took off his sunglasses, glaring at the two of them with an irritated expression.

Seeing Tony actually get angry, Banner and Cain both tried to suppress their laughter but couldn't help themselves.

Which only made Tony more annoyed.

"Alright, let's get back to work!"

Tony immediately changed the subject and started assigning tasks for the Ultron project.

DC Universe

After a long and grueling battle, most of the Siren Heads had finally been thrown into the Blood Pool for containment.

"All we need to do is toss the last few in, and we're done."

Wayne looked at the shrunken, battered, and trembling Siren Head in his hand and said.

"Whew… Finally done. I'm exhausted."

Arthur sat down, utterly worn out.

"Man, it took so much effort to deal with these things."

"Yeah, the fighting was one thing, but keeping track of the Mirror World's time limit was a nightmare. There were a few times I almost didn't make it out."

Diana nodded in deep agreement.

Battling in the Mirror World required precise timing—stay too long, and you'd disintegrate into particles and vanish.

It sounded simple, like you just needed to set an alarm, but in the middle of an intense battle, who had the time to check the clock?

Usually, they only realized they were close to vanishing when they felt their bodies starting to break apart.

"Well, looking on the bright side, we still managed to finish the job."

Clark smiled, trying to lift everyone's spirits.

"Compared to you guys, I had it easy."

Barry jogged back, panting heavily.

"I must've run through half the U.S. I don't even know how many of these monsters I've caught. Are there any left?"

As he spoke, he dropped a crate from his back—inside were more of the Illusion Predators.

"Let me check."

Wayne glanced at the monitor—no more Illusion Predators detected. But he didn't lower his guard.

"They're gone for now. Whether there are any offspring still hiding in this world, though… that's another question."

Wayne remained highly alert.

For now, they could only wait and respond when new victims surfaced.

He already had a plan in mind.

The Illusion Predators had caught the attention of some civilians, and discussions had begun online.

Wayne planned to create a dedicated forum to discuss these incidents, stir up buzz, and encourage people to report sightings. That way, they could respond immediately.

[Congratulations! The Siren Heads and Illusion Predators have been successfully contained in the DC Universe. Now calculating rewards.]

[Reward: Barry – Anti-Meme Device.]

[Reward: Bruce Wayne – Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.]

[Reward: Arthur – Trident of Atlantis.]

[Reward: Clark – Kryptonite Immunity, No Longer Affected by Kryptonite.]

[Reward: Diana – Cosmos Mastery.]

As the announcement rang out, a golden trident appeared in Arthur's hand.

Barry also received an item that looked like a pair of headphones.

[Trident of Atlantis – The treasured weapon of the Atlantean royal family, passed down through generations. Only the recognized king is worthy of wielding it. Possessing the Trident grants dominion over the oceans.]

"What the—?! This thing ended up in my hands?!"

Arthur's expression darkened as soon as he saw the Trident.

"What's the problem? You don't look too happy."

Barry looked puzzled.

"At least you got a cool weapon. What's this thing supposed to be?"

Barry stared at the device in his hand, utterly confused.

"That's the Anti-Meme Device. It's been used in another universe before. It can resist malicious info-based attacks."

Bruce Wayne explained.

"Huh?"

Barry's confusion only deepened.

"I'll explain later."

Bruce didn't know where to start, so he turned to Arthur.

"That weapon… is it going to cause you trouble?"

"Damn right. I don't want anything to do with Atlantis. They see me as an outsider—a bastard. If they find out I have this thing, they'll definitely come for me, try to kill me, and take it back."

Arthur said helplessly.

"Well, if they try, just beat them into submission. You've got it now—are you really going to throw it away?"

Diana smiled as she spoke. Then, her gaze burned with excitement as she looked at her own body.

Feeling the energy of the Cosmos coursing through her, she murmured:

"So this is the power of the Saint Seiya Cosmos… With this, I can smash stars just like they do!"

Diana's eyes gleamed fiercely.

As a warrior, and a demigod, she had always been proud and loved the thrill of challenging strong opponents.

After seeing the Dragon Ball fighters and the Saint Seiya warriors unleash power far beyond hers, she had long craved a way to grow stronger.

Now, with the power of the Cosmos, she saw endless possibilities.

"When the next livestream starts, I'll have to ask those Saints how to awaken the Seventh Sense…"

She thought to herself.

While Diana was lost in excitement, Bruce Wayne watched her warily.

He had already seen what the Cosmos could do—wielding the power to destroy entire galaxies like Defteros.

If Diana lost control and unleashed her full power, the world could be obliterated in an instant.

Fortunately, she wasn't at that level yet.

But he'd have to keep an eye on her.

Then, he turned to Clark, who looked thoroughly confused.

"Do you know what Kryptonite is?"

"That… I'm not sure."

Clark scratched his head, looking lost. He still didn't fully understand his own nature.
