Son Goku had already experienced Abel's sword firsthand. Even though his ki was clearly higher than Abel's, he couldn't block it at all.

He tried using the Kaio-ken to unleash a greater power than Abel and create a barrier to block Abel's black sword.

But it was futile—he could only watch helplessly as the barrier was sliced apart!

This made Goku certain that Abel's sword possessed the power to ignore differences in power and inflict damage regardless.

It was this realization that made him wary of going head-to-head.

Yet despite this, Goku couldn't help but feel exhilarated.

"Since your revival, you've gotten even stronger! Let me see the extent of your power!"

Goku shouted with excitement.

Neither of them knew how long they had been fighting or how many times Goku had killed Abel.

Every time Abel revived, he grew stronger.

But this wasn't because Abel had a Saiyan's bloodline like Goku.

Rather, as Abel's connection to ki deepened, the power sealed within him was gradually being restored.

Though how long it would take to fully recover was anyone's guess.

"Kamehameha!"

Goku flew into the air and launched a Kamehameha.

A massive blue energy wave, like a meteor, came crashing down towards Abel!

"Kamehameha!"

To Goku's surprise, Abel countered by launching a Kamehameha of his own!

After countless battles with Goku, he had learned the technique!

The two Kamehamehas collided in the air, and for a moment, they were evenly matched!

"Kaio-ken x20!"

Just then, Abel roared and unleashed the Kaio-ken x20!

After battling with Goku for so long, he had not only learned the Kaio-ken but had mastered its use.

With the Kaio-ken x20, Abel's power skyrocketed.

His Kamehameha grew even larger and more destructive, overwhelming Goku's wave and pushing it back!

"Super Saiyan!"

Goku immediately transformed into Super Saiyan 1!

With sheer force, he overpowered Abel's Kamehameha and sent it back in an instant.

Abel could only watch in frustration as his own Kamehameha was pushed back at him.

Try as he might, he couldn't hold it off and was swallowed by the energy wave.

BOOOOOOOM!!!

The resulting explosion was far more terrifying than a hundred nuclear bombs combined, shaking the entire Hyperbolic Time Chamber and causing everything around them to shatter and quake!

When the dust finally settled, craters covered the ground, and only Goku floated in the sky.

Back inside the chamber, Goku watched as Abel crawled out of the coffin.

Even though he had just died, Abel's face still burned with battle-lust as he stared at Goku.

"Come on! Let's go again! I'll definitely defeat you!"

Abel pointed his black sword at Goku and declared.

"No, we can't stay here any longer."

Goku glanced at the chamber's time indicator.

He had already been inside for two days—meaning he had trained for two years.

The first year, he had trained with Gohan, leaving Abel outside to wait.

During that time, Gohan had mastered the Full-Power Super Saiyan form before being sent back.

After that, Goku switched, letting Abel in to engage in endless, day-and-night battles.

As a result, Goku's power skyrocketed, and he mastered the Full-Power Super Saiyan 2 form.

Meanwhile, Abel's power grew at an alarming rate, learning both the Kaio-ken and the Kamehameha.

Goku couldn't imagine how strong Abel would become if given enough time—and whether he himself could still keep up.

"Remember what we agreed on."

With that, Goku opened the door and left.

"Yeah, no problem."

Abel answered while hoisting the coffin onto his shoulder.

Outside, Kami welcomed Goku and Abel back.

He shot Abel a wary glance before turning to Goku.

"Goku, Bulma has repaired my spaceship. We're ready to leave for Namek at any time."

Goku nodded. He had already made up his mind: to bring Krillin back to life, they needed to go to Namek and find their Dragon Balls.

According to King Kai, the Namekian Dragon Balls were even more powerful than Earth's.

So Goku wanted to take the chance and see if they could revive Krillin once more.

Originally, they had planned to revive Tien first, but since the Earth's Dragon Balls had already revived Goku, they'd have to wait another year.

"Alright, let's go. Abel, let me introduce you to my friends."

With that, Goku used Bukūjutsu to fly off.

Amazingly, Abel followed by taking to the skies as well.

"Goku, are you really bringing him to help protect Earth?"

Kami asked nervously.

"Yeah, no problem. Don't be fooled by his violent fighting style—he's actually easy to talk to."

Goku grinned.

"Hmph, I don't care about Earth. I only acknowledge the strong. Since I've lost to you so many times, I'll follow your orders. But when I beat you one day, you'll have to listen to me."

Abel sneered.

"No problem. If you ever defeat me, I'll do whatever you want—just no evil stuff."

Goku replied cheerfully.

Then, they left Kami's Lookout and headed for Bulma's house.

"Goku is really reckless…"

Mr. Popo muttered, cold sweat dripping down his face.

"Indeed. I'm not sure if I can get used to this."

Kami nodded.

He had figured out the origin of the SCPs.

To let an uncontrollable entity from another universe be Earth's protector—only Goku would think of such a thing.

But there was nothing Kami could do to stop it. After all, he was too weak to interfere much.

He could only choose to trust Goku.

At Bulma's house, Master Roshi, Chi-Chi, Piccolo, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu were all gathered.

Everyone was waiting for Goku's arrival.

"Goku, you're here!"

Yamcha greeted Goku warmly, but when he saw Abel, his expression darkened.

"Goku, are you really going to let this guy out?"

Piccolo asked, staring at Abel.

"Oh, it's you. I lost to you too. We'll have a rematch sometime!"

Abel said, staring at Piccolo excitedly.

"Whenever you're ready."

Piccolo replied with a disdainful smirk.

"No worries. As long as Abel doesn't stray too far from the coffin, we can communicate just fine. He's easy to get along with."

Goku said confidently.

"I've already talked to him. He'll help keep an eye on the Blood Pool and make sure no monsters escape. As for the remaining Xenomorphs and humanoid creatures, Yamcha and Chiaotzu, I'll leave them to you."

Goku looked at the two of them.

"No problem. We've already trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber before you, and we're much stronger now. These humanoid monsters won't be an issue!"

Yamcha and Chiaotzu gave a thumbs-up, telling Goku not to worry.
