Marvel: I am Phoenix

So, my training started.

With Dr Strange punching my soul out of my body.

It was weird, seeing my body falling limp, and watching it from the outside.

But that didn't last long, because I was blinded by something so luminous.

Like I just looked at the Sun.

'You called for me sometime ago?'

Suddenly, I could open my eyes as I heard the voice in my mind.

And before me, in a black space, stood the towering Phoenix. No longer blinding.

"You actually listened to that?"

"Yes. But I was snapped away 5 earth years ago. I have just returned to existence a while ago.

I am not physically present here."

"Oh."

Even Phoenix got snapped away? Damn.

"I am 4.5 light years away. So I will come to you in around 10 years.

Right now, we are in the 5th dimension, the spiritual world. So I can talk to you easily in this state."

So Phoenix can move around half the speed of light?

That's too OP—

"Can't I just get Dr Strange to open a portal near you?"

"... That's possible."

For some reason, I could feel that it was excited.

"Well, let me get a hang of my current powers first. You know, like not hurting others accidentally? Then an upgrade—"

"Tell Strange to open the portal!"

"Don't be so impatient."

I frowned as I felt it about to throw a tantrum.

"By the way, you won't try to take control of my body or something, right?"

"We are the same being."

... Doesn't this sound awfully like 'We are Venom'

And...

"You are not some sort of symbiote with its starting point being me. Wouldn't this just mean that I would loose my mind?

Look, if you agree to a post KCM2 Naruto and Kurama relationship,with me being Naruto, being fully myself, then we can talk."

It must have already read through my entire memories. So it must know what I am referring to.

To my surprise, it screeched.

Even though I am just a soul right now and don't have any ears, I felt like my ears would burst.

Damn it!

It's screech halted, but what it said next terrified me.

"No. We will be one being."

...Don't you love me or something?

"That's why we will merge!"

That's not love! Love is loving your loved ones for being the person they are. You can't just stop letting me being myself!

"You have around 10 earth years before I arrive. I won't interfere in your life, just observe.

But then..."

Suddenly, I was back in the real world, without the darkness all around and Phoenix in front of me.

Still in my soul form, Dr Strange and Wong were surprised when I appeared back.

"Where were you gone!?"

Dr Strange asked.

"Guys, Phoenix is very real. And he is coming to sort of, merge with me? The beginning of this universe + 15 year old me.

I fear that it might accidentally burn down our world when it comes in around 10 years."

"Great! As if Thanos wasn't enough."

I swam back to my body, and woke up physically.

"Do you have some sort of seal? Like the one sealing Kurama in Naruto?"

"What Kurama? What Naruto?"

Apparently, Dr Strange hasn't heard about Naruto.

Wong shook his head, "It would have been possible with Time Stone before, but..."

All infinity stones are gone.

Good job Thanos.

And apparently, Wong has watched Naruto.

I sighed as I got up from the ground.

"I guess I need to be a shonen protagonist? Winning against something from the beginning of universe with a 10 year training arc. Especially in its own speciality. Mind."

And the bad part, it's not a comic book where everyone dies and gets revived every other week.

This is a real world with real people. With my real family.

Dr Strange sighed.

"Let's start with training your control over your powers first."

"Yeah..."

So, a training montage for controlling my powers began by Dr Strange dumping me into a gutter, crawling with cockroaches.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

"Try to make each cockroach collect at a single point, without killing them or turning them into vegetables."

I used telekinesis to blast away the cockroaches and jump back into the portal, but Dr Strange was faster in closing it.

"Don't use telekinesis. Only telepathy!"

That's the last thing I heard.

Maybe... I should have just stayed with Xavier?

Dr Strange is the worst teacher ever!

Just as I was going through a phase of regret while keeping all the cockroaches at bay with a telekinetic field around me, my eyes widened as I saw the horrifying scene before me.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Some of the cockroaches started flying!

Since when can they do that!

Alright... let's calm down.

Control them with telepathy to gather at a single point.

Don't use my Telekinesis.

I focused on the connecting... dominating their minds.

Breathe in. Breathe out.

As all cockroaches stopped in their places, I let out a breath again, and dropped the telekinetic field.

...I succeeded!

Until a flying cockroach stuck on my face.

"AAAAAARGGGHHHH!"
