Chapter 375: Outer Realm

"And I, taking advantage of the brief moment they opened it, used my consciousness to wander beyond the Cosmic Egg and discovered a far more fascinating place than ours — the Outer Domain."

"I don't know how far that place is from here. At that moment, I only instinctively felt that the instant the Cosmic Egg opened was my only chance to glimpse the outside."

"At the time, I didn't dare to charge through the Chaotic Zone. All I could do was stretch my consciousness as far outward as possible."

"Afterward, I told TOAA and the others about it. They promised me that they would join me in exploring the Outer Domain I had seen."

"Later, the universe that TOAA created began to have humans."

"These humans referred to us as the ancient gods, and our time and space became what they called the Ancient Universe."

"After that, seeing TOAA and Sky wholeheartedly developing the universe, I grew bored and started experimenting alone with ways to reach the Outer Domain."

"Yet every time, an inexplicable force bound me, preventing my body from escaping."

"Finally, I came up with the method of Disintegration and Rebirth..."

"Because I knew that the Self-Gem on my forehead was my divine core. It had become deeply intertwined with this universe."

"Only by breaking it and reconstructing it could I hope to escape this Omniverse and reach the Outer Domain."

"Lady, the Outer Domain you mentioned, is it what we call the Divine Realm or the Celestial Order?" Roma interjected, taking notes as she asked.

"I don't know what those two are..."

"But I feel that what you're referring to isn't what I saw."

After speaking, the Nemesis's figure grew even more ethereal. She glanced meaningfully at Zane and said:

"I think I now have a rough idea of what TOAA intends to do."

"Alright, little ones, it's time for me to leave..."

As soon as her words fell, the Self-Gem on the Nemesis's head detached and floated in space.

Suddenly, it shattered, releasing white, mist-like filaments.

These filaments spread around Zane and the others.

They were illusory and dreamlike, as if an eerie otherworld had descended and overlapped with this time and space.

Then, the Nemesis's near-transparent body transformed into a streak of light.

The light, together with all the white mists, twisted into a rapidly spinning vortex that vanished in an instant.

At that moment, the previously empty void around Zane and the others suddenly became filled with countless glowing, spinning galaxies.

It was as if they had always existed there.

Seeing this, Zane held Lorna by the waist and murmured:

"Did she really leave?"

Meanwhile, Roma continued furiously jotting down the day's observations and experiences in her journal.

After the Nemesis completely vanished, Zane initially thought that the six gems on his [Magic Furnace] might have either disappeared or weakened in some way.

However, upon a thorough inspection, he found that the attribute amplification brought by the [Magic Furnace] remained unchanged.

"It seems she truly had no intention of taking even the tiniest bit of power from this Omniverse," Zane murmured softly, thinking of the Nemesis.

Yet, recalling the meaningful glance she gave him as she spoke her final words, Zane felt a chill run down his spine.

He pondered for a long time but still couldn't decipher what she meant.

At that moment, Lorna, who had just ascended from the peak of the fifth dimension to the pinnacle of the seventh after inheriting the Nemesis's final power, suddenly leapt onto Zane's back.

She paid no mind to Roma watching nearby.

Clinging to Zane's back, Lorna stared at his face with a smug, prideful grin and said:

"Zane, how about that? Now, I'm stronger than you!"

"And next, I'm going to make up for all those days when you bullied me..."

Lorna's arrogant tone and flamboyant actions resembled an octopus spreading all its soft tentacle-like arms, clinging tightly to Zane's back with exaggerated movements.

She was utterly wild and uninhibited.

Watching this scene, Roma rested her fingers against her forehead, deep in thought.

She seemed to be considering her choice of words.

As expected, before long, she opened her journal and added the following beneath the day's entries:

'Main Universe 616, Earth-515: Mutant Lorna.'

'After suddenly inheriting the power of an ancient Nemesis, her mental energy became imbalanced, rendering her unable to control herself.'

She paused for a moment, perhaps feeling it wasn't down-to-earth enough, and added:

'To put it simply, she experienced a sudden windfall, had a bout of intermittent divine madness, and gave up on treatment.'

In fact, Roma wanted to add a comparison to a story she had heard on Earth. But fearing future beings in the universe wouldn't understand it, she decided against it.

While the trio laughed and bantered, they were entirely unaware that their every move was being observed from an eerie location.

...

In a boundless Dimensional Universe, the space of this cosmos was unlike any other.

Even a collapsing universe on the brink of annihilation would seem livelier by comparison.

The entire space of this universe was an endless, inky black.

Thick and viscous like ink, it exuded a suffocating aura.

If one were to thrust a stick into it, they might stir up an unending flow of dark, inky sludge.

From time to time, large bubbles gurgled to the surface, bursting silently.

Each burst gave rise to a dim planet, which would ascend briefly before shattering into fragments.

The fragments dissolved into the ink-like space, disappearing without a sound.

Above this void floated the only distinguishable celestial body—a single planet shrouded in dense, white mist.
