Marvel: Beginning with the Collection of Shinra Tensei

Chapter 208: Chapter 208: Down to Earth

Between planets, resistance against such an unreasonable force was utterly futile.

They couldn't even run. The speed at which the Heart of the Universe's energy swept through was so fast that before anyone could even blink halfway, their life force was already drained away.

Unless another planet actively discovered what was happening, no one would even realize the danger.

And transmitting warnings to other planets was impossible. The distance between them spanned dozens of light-years—and light-years measure distance, not time.

Even the most advanced civilizations on these planets couldn't instantly transmit a message across such vast distances.

Even if they knew, there was nothing they could do. It was utterly hopeless.

"Is there a way to stop it?" Wanda asked.

"Yes. And it's quite simple."

Han Yu raised his other palm. In his hand, a deep crimson liquid, as small as a spring of water, began to swirl around his fingers. It moved like a sentient slime, coiling in his grasp.

"Is that... Aether Particles?"

After spending so much time at the Sanctum Supreme, Wanda had learned about the various Infinity Stones—their forms, origins, and powers. After all, the Sanctum itself safeguarded one of them: the Time Stone.

Han Yu smiled and nodded.

The Aether Particles, also known as the Reality Stone, had remained with him ever since the Asgard incident. He had never used it before.

But now, he finally had a use for it.

"The energy my opponent is using is similar to mine. In theory, I can absorb it as well. But I need to be stronger than that energy.

"With the combined power of the Aether Particles and my Green Lantern Ring, surpassing it should be effortless."

Han Yu narrowed his eyes slightly. When he reopened them, his irises had turned completely deep red, with no trace of white remaining—just like the Dark Elf Malekith had once looked.

As he activated his power, three different lights—azure blue, emerald green, and deep crimson—burst forth from his body.

At the same time, the space around them began to twist and shift.

Suddenly, Wanda felt the ground beneath her disappear.

She gasped in shock, but Han Yu quickly caught her.

When she looked up, she was stunned—they were now in outer space!

"This… This is the universe?" Wanda was astonished.

She had only known that the Space Stone could enable teleportation like this. But how was the Reality Stone capable of the same thing?

Han Yu, his deep red eyes gleaming eerily, glanced at her and smirked.

"The Reality Stone's power is to distort and rewrite reality. As long as I am strong enough, I can reshape reality into whatever I desire.

"Even changing the very space we are in, placing myself right in the path of the Heart of the Universe's energy—I can do that too."

Hearing this, even though Wanda was on Han Yu's side, she couldn't help but feel a shiver down her spine.

Han Yu had never seemed to use the Reality Stone before, but it was clear now that he had long since mastered its abilities.

And from what he just said, it sounded like the Reality Stone might actually be the most powerful of all the Infinity Stones.

Han Yu gazed into the cosmic depths.

There, in the far distance, a faint, nearly imperceptible speck of light was rapidly growing larger.

That was it—the energy of the Heart of the Universe, unleashed by Thanos!

"Found it."

Han Yu smiled slightly. With his hands tucked into his pockets, he simply stood there in the void, calmly awaiting the arrival of the Heart of the Universe's energy.

"It seems that erasing half of all life in the universe wasn't truly the power of all six Infinity Stones combined—it was actually the Reality Stone's ability."

"It's just that Thanos lacked divine power. He was merely an alien with an extremely strong physique. That's why he had to rely on the other five Infinity Stones to enhance the Reality Stone's power and make his plan work."

As Han Yu pondered these thoughts, he had long been puzzled—why was it necessary to gather all six Infinity Stones just to snap a finger? Was this some kind of strange "set bonus" effect?

It wasn't until Han Yu obtained the shattered Heart of the Universe and ascended to a single-universe level that he finally understood—just the Reality Stone alone was enough to turn everything to dust with a single snap.

However, affecting the entire universe was another matter entirely. Forget whether the stone itself was capable of such a feat—just finding a wielder who was qualified and possessed the divine power necessary was already an insurmountable challenge for 99.9% of all beings in the universe.

Divine power existed, but only a few possessed it.

For Han Yu, this kind of power was known as "True Divine Power."

A fully mastered Wanda and her Chaos Magic could be considered True Divine Power.

Similarly, a fully awakened Jean Grey with her Phoenix Force also possessed True Divine Power.

But beings like Thor and Odin—they were merely hyper-advanced extraterrestrials whose civilizations had surpassed Earth's technology by tens of thousands of years. They could channel natural and stellar energy into their bodies for personal use.

However, such beings could only be said to possess "False Divine Power"—it wasn't true divinity.

This was why, despite the passage of countless years, Odin remained at the All-Father level and could never ascend to a higher tier.

Because their civilization's technological advancements only allowed their bodies to evolve to that extent. The All-Father level was already their peak.

Han Yu, however, was different. The All-Father-level divine power granted to him by the Miscellaneous Shop System was the real deal—not a result of technological augmentation.

"Han, it's here!"

Thanks to the Green Lantern Ring Han Yu had given her, Wanda was now standing naturally in the void of space. She pointed toward a distant part of the universe.

Han Yu followed her gaze.

At first, the approaching light had been no larger than a pinprick. But now, it had expanded to the size of a washbasin.

Judging by its speed, in ten minutes at most, it would reach them.

"An energy force capable of instantly absorbing an entire planet must be enormous. Looks like I'll need to weave a larger capture net."

Han Yu murmured to himself.

The Green Lantern energy and the Heart of the Universe's energy interwove around him, surging upward.

Roughly a kilometer away, they began forming into a structure—a massive, intricate net woven from the combined energy.

Watching this scene, Wanda suddenly felt a strange sense of... down-to-earth practicality?

"You know... all of a sudden, this energy doesn't seem so terrifying anymore."

She was speechless.

She had expected some kind of grand, spectacular display—something dazzling and otherworldly.

Sure, this wasn't exactly ordinary, but catching energy with a net? Even if the net was made of two different forms of cosmic energy, it still felt unexpectedly practical.

It was nothing like the epic, dramatic battle she had envisioned in her mind.

It was just... too normal!

"It's coming!"
